Pros: We were able to walk to the fair from hotel. It was a very nice, clean hotel. Staff was nice. The full bar was great! Breakfast was also great!
Cons: Bed was not comfortable, at all. I lost sleep because of it.
Pros: The staff was very upbeat and helpful. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was very good. I will definitely stay there again.
Pros: The free breakfast in the morning is incredible. They have an omelet station, waffles, eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, bagels, cereal, fruit and pastries. The staff is phenomenal. We wanted to check in early, at around 11 am, and even though the hotel was busy and packed they moved things around to accommodate us. They have a full bar and a great pool. We have now stayed here 3 times and have been impressed every time.
Pros: Breakfast was free and excellent

Pros: This is an adorable B&B in a cute vineyard location, close to Paso Robles. We got the king room and it was beautiful, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Very romantic. Only wish we had booked at least one extra night.
Cons: Everything was great, but driving at night can be a bit tricky, since it's very rustic. Probably better when there's more daylight.
great b&b in an actual working vineyard. if you like staying off the beaten path, this is highly recommended.
Pros: comfortable bed, felt more like home than a hotel
Cons: its a little far from Paso Robles, about 10 miles, but not a big deal
clean, open, nice area, flowers smelt great around the patio area at night. We were there for one night so missed out on the full ambiance of the grounds and area. Two nights would of been better and I think if the owner hadn't gone to his reunion (glad he was able to do that & had no problem with it)a carriage ride would had added a lot to the experience. We would go back if in area again but for two nights not just one. Great job Larry you have a wonderful place.
Pros: very nice place, nice room, spa tub in room was sweet, nice patio to relax in during the evening with nice smells (flowers)
Cons: a nice bottle of wine from one of the vineyard's wine makers would've been a nice touch. The owner was out so didn't have much personal contact with anyone. The owner did call and tell us he would not be there so it wasn't a surprise, very appreciated.
Enjoy your visit to Templeton with a stay at Carriage Vineyards Bed & Breakfast. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast available daily. A terrace and a garden are offered, and rooms get the details right with fireplaces and bathrobes.
Pros: I loved their cookies, the huge rooms with comfortable beds, the indoor swimming pool, the variety of breakfast and the staff. There was also a customer appreciation hour where complimentary beer and snacks were served. Everything was great I will return.
Cons: The only issue we had was that the housekeeping cleaned our rooms well before the posted 12pm checkout. When we returned from the winery in the morning before check out time, our rooms were cleaned and some things were thrown away. Our keys still were working because it was 11am. We had to hunt down the housekeeping lady to get my daughters belongings. We had three rooms so it was hard to identify if anything important was missing but in the future I know to put up the sign or something for them to keep out until check out time.
Pros: Breakfast was free and pretty good! they even had complimentary wine, beer, cookies and pastries!
Cons: My room was really damp when the AC was on. So we didn't run it. But room was still comfortable temp
Pros: We enjoyed the clean, spider-free smoking area outside of building 2. We were upgraded to a suite and The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with a fridge and microwave.
Cons: Can't think of any complaints.
Pros: Rooms & bathrooms were very clean and updated with newer fixtures, TV, microwave & fridge. Upscale atmosphere in lobby and rooms. Hot breakfast was good, as well as an attentive service staff. Easy & fast checkout in the morning. It's location is close to the freeway, but very quiet from street noise.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like.

Pros: Such great service!!! Also, the whole hotel felt clean and well maintained. It felt like our comfort and needs came first from the staff. The restaurant has great food too!
Cons: Only con is the proximity to the 101 freeway so there's a little noise when you're outside but I chose the hotel because it's so conveniently located.
Pros: Very friendly staff. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it!
Pros: The Staff was super nice and friendly. THe room was great with a fireplace and renovated bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a private deck/balcony!
Pros: This hotel is stunning. Rooms are spacious and the hotel restaurant and bar are great. They have patio dining and a pool with a beautiful view. We stay here quite frequently and always enjoy our time
Cons: We had an incident this last stay here. We couldn't check in early so they held our luggage until we came back from wine tasting. We checked out the next day only to find that an item was missing. Although this was concerning, the staff handled this with class and replaced the item immediately, which was an 80 dollar expense. Although it was disappointing to have this happen, they handled it with professionalism and speed.
Pros: Great food at the restaurant
Cons: fitness room could have been better
also the dining was closed on Christmas day
Cons: Restaurant needs to be a little more on the ball. Food was decent, waiters seemed distracted. Appetizers menu needs some help.
Situated in a rural location, this romantic resort is within 2 mi (3 km) of Peachy Canyon Winery, Windward Vineyard, and Castoro Cellars Winery. Veris Cellars and Anglim Winery are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: This is a great place to stay when you are catching a concert at the fair. Beautiful accommodations, $5 shuttle ride to and from the fair, free breakfast, close to wineries and Firestone Brewery. We will definitely stay there again!
Pros: Loved that this hotel was around the corner from Firestone Walker Brewey. It was perfectly placed location for a halfway point from Russian River Brewing Co and Mission Vejo. Hotel was nice, rooms were nice, breakfast was great. Unfortunately it was just to catch a few hours of sleep, but would book here again and explore more of the breweries in the area next time.
Pros: friendly staff at front desk. It was our 28th wedding anniversary so they gave us a free bottle of wine! that was very nice! The breakfast in the am was very nice.
Cons: The walls were a bit thin. We were on the first floor and i could hear people walking above our room at 1 am. It woke me up.

Pros: The architecture was amazing. Beautifully situated. Great room.
Cons: Not super family friendly. Comes across more as an adult resort.
Cons: For the money thought it should have a nice tub.
Cons: It was dirty and we complained to the management the first 5 minutes on arrival. The apologized but only cleaned the dirty remote control. The room was definitely not a 4 star hotel.
Pros: Everything is fantastic
Pros: Nice staff. Good central area.
Cons: Too expensive. Not a great location. Just ok hotel.
Pros: The room was very nice. Clean and roomy. Nice view of the courtyard. The food was good and the service was excellent. I read reviews that the food prices were high. We didn't feel this way and we ordered room service, which always has tack on fees.
Cons: Although we enjoyed our stay, I'm not sure I would rate this beyond 4 stars. In my mind it takes a lot to step beyond 4 stars as they claim to be 4.5 stars. The amenities weren't above a 4 star ranking. Nothing I couldn't find at a Hilton or Hyatt.
Pros: Beautiful grounds and decor overall.
Cons: Pool was smaller in size compared to size of hotel. No pool chairs were available
Pros: This hotel is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable & the rooms are huge. The hotel grounds are perfectly manicured. This place Exudes an upscale vibe. It has a good wine list, and some very nice local beers on tap at their restaurant. would stay again
Pros: Excellent hotel/resort. Best u have ever been to. Especially liked the decor and statues from all different parts of the world. Courtyard and balcony were wonderful!! I would drive 5 hours back just to stay there again! Dog friendly, huge plus!
Cons: The fire alarm went off and was on about ten minutes and the front desk wasn't answering the phone.
Pros: The service and friendliness of the staff was as great as we have ever experience. The hotel and grounds are magnificent.
Cons: No. This would be our first choice when visiting the area again.
Cons: The cable TV was not working and was never fixed while I stayed there.
Pros: Excellent location and decor. High ceilings, polite staff, well maintained grounds, Cello Restaurant - great food!
Cons: Room was noisy next to pool, unable to reach Spa on multiple attempts

Pros: Great location, charming hotel, nice grounds, good value
Pros: The spa
Cons: The bed mattress, not as comfortable as one in ballroom room.
Pros: We arrived around 10:30 pm. The next morning we made coffee in the room (room included a small kitchen area (small frig, microwave and sink) and walked the grounds. Large grassy areas with walking paths and a couple swinging lounge chairs. If had arrived earlier in the day or stayed another day we could have enjoyed hanging out in the grassy grounds and drank wine purchased from one of the local wineries. Very relaxing and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Pros: The Paso Robles Inn provided us a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the area vineyards. Being located just off the park in the downtown area allowed us easy access to numerous tasting rooms and restaurants. The on-site restaurant is also a plus for breakfast.
Pros: We've stayed 3 times and keep coming back. Staff is excellent. Spa rooms are so much fun... unless you hate sulphur dioxide smell from the natural hot springs.
Very nice staff! Amanda at the front desk was super helpful and nice!
Pros: The grounds are beautiful. Centrally located to downtown.
Cons: If I were to rate the staff on only the woman at the front desk the morning we checked out I would have to say poor. She was extremely rude when we called from our room and then she called back 15 minutes later, with even more of an attitude. Luckily, when we were checking out she was busy being rude to what looked like a very nice older couple, so we got to check out with the nice one. I would say that we would be back because everything else was wonderful, but that woman's attitude would make me think twice.
Pros: Location to restaurants that were walking distance. Didn't have to drink and drive.
Cons: The bed seemed older. Even though there were 5 pillows, they were lumpy and hard to find a good fit due to the lumps in the pillows. Newer pillows are needed.
Historic charm in the heart of Paso Robles wine country. Full service hotel ideally located in the heart of the downtown city square. Enjoy therapeutic hot springs mineral tubs in select guest rooms and modern amenities including free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, restaurant and lounge.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked fairly well. Attractive decor. Good shower.
Cons: Unfortunately, it's hard to upgrade the cigarette-smoking, profanity-using drunken trailer trash that kept us up until after 12:30am (midnight).
Pros: Guy at front desk was not usual person but very nice. Convenient location. Lots of USB outlets. Quiet fridge. Older place but looked kept up with pool.
Cons: Not for clean freaks or germaphobes. Stains on bath towels. Pillows were hard.
Cons: Bathroom could be cleaner
Cons: Bathroom was dirty. Soap provided was so cheap it didn't lather! Pillows on the bed were so hard it was sleeping on stones!
Pros: It was clean. The staff was friendly. Located near all the action during the fair. Would stay again.
Cons: The parking was a little tight at night when it got full so if someone couldn't park correctly you were S O L
Pros: Extremely good value for the money, cost was comparable to most very low budget hotels and room was very large and clean.
Cons: Location wasn’t the best but certainly tolerable considering the price, size and quality of the room.
Pros: Just remodeled and everything is clean and fresh. It isn't a fancy hotel but overall the place is nice.
Cons: Could use some new towels.
Pros: Nice, clean and spacious room
Pros: There is a certain sense of pride you see from the people who run this place, which appears to be a family owned business. Well maintained, seems like new. Nothing fancy, price is good and close to the Paso Robles wine country. Free WiFi, that some even higher end places try to charge you for. We would stay here again.
Cons: The King rooms could use a couch and there could be larger flat screen TV's.
Pros: Good location. Clean large room.
