Pros: We were cycling around the island and on this particular evening, we arrived late at the hotel. Despite our late arrival we were greeted very warmly and the hotel owner was very happy to store our bikes away in her private flat. The hotel was spotless and the decor was very thought through and fitted well with the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was a feast and very fresh! So much to choose from which kept us going all day on our bikes!

Pros: It was our second stay in this hotel. It was even better than the 1st time. The whole family that runs it is just wonderful. Very kind, helpful and friendly. We felt like at home. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast delicious and whole hotel spotless clean! We will be coming back next year. Thank you to the whole family and the team that helps them keep this place special!

But the best thing about it is the lovely family who run it. They are so friendly and helpful and kind they really make you welcome and do everything they can to make your stay all you want it to be. They a;so lay on an amazing breakfast buffet. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Pros: This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at at San Vito Lo Capo. Everything about this place was perfect, room, cleanliness, staff, vicinity to center, rooftop, etc. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We will def stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally clean and great location. Easy walk to beach and main town piazza. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Best gelato right on corner by LaNiccia. Gelato in a brioche!! Delicious. Towels provided for beach and great cappuccino for breakfast. Room is small but clean and you won’t be in it much! No safe in room but very secure property. Need key to get in front doors and they have cameras. We did leave valuables in room and no problems. Did not get to use hot tub but was clean as well. Great stay and would recommend.
Cons: No safe but secure property. Felt safe. Room a little small but very clean.
9.6 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Top location in San Vito lo capo, nice and friendly staff!!!
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice location and clean. It was okay but I will not book it again.
Cons: It is a little less comfortable and unique as the pictures image. Our room was quite small, and the price was one of the highest of our sicily trip (end of may) and we had much better accomodations than this one. The staff was okay, not very kind or unkind. The jacuzzi on the rooftop is nice, but not with a super view and also on a small spot. We had a lot of noise of the jacuzzi as our room was just underneath it and at night it makes a lot of noise anyway especially when people use it. I told the staff the next morning but they only told me that I should have walked up in the middle of night to close the top of the jaccuzzi. I don't think that would have helped and I think that that is a task of the staff to check at night if the top has closed.

Overview Reviews

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, close to town centre, and each just a short stroll. Patrizia was a very welcoming host, and serves a fantastic breakfast (lovely coffee!). It was nice to have the courtyard to sit in during the evenings, and the outdoor 'beach' shower a great idea to stop your room getting sandy.
Cons: Parking is payable and the 24 hour cheaper parking is a walk away from the property. Only a small in convenience in the grand scheme of things. Though you can park immediately outside for free for short periods while loading and unloading though, which was very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly staff, very clean room and beautiful BNB.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and house are nicely renovated in a sicily style.Good location, just in the center, close to the beach, shops, restaurants but in a quiet part.
Cons: I would appreciate a breakfast prolong at least until 10:00(it is only until 9:30)
7.9 Good
Pros: Personal was friendly, room — clean, breakfast — not bad, but nothing special. Location is great — near to the pedestrian street with restaurants and supermarkets, and not far away from the beach.
Cons: Sound insulation in our room was very poor — I could hear how somebody brushed his teeth (!!!), coughed, used hair dryer and toilet.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice bedroom and cute patio to have breakfast. Perfect location, close to everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I've been there just for a weekend. Lovely place and lovely staff. Room and services nice and we were very close to the beach and city Center. For sure I will be back again.

Hermes Hotel - San Vito Lo Capo - Building
5
9.5 Excellent (192 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Hermes Hotel is in the heart of San Vito Lo Capo, within a 5-minute walk of Mother Church and San Vito Lo Capo Beach. Featured amenities include a computer station, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a gem of a hotel, only a year old, on the edge of the main town and 2min walk to the beach. There are only 11 rooms so it is a small place, but there is parking (you get allocated a space) and a small bar with outside seating. The breakfast is probably the best we had in our 7 hotels while in Sicily- all homemade cakes, and some lovely savoury items. All served on the roof top balcony. I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.
Cons: You could hear the staff setting up for breakfast the floor above but only an observation not really a negative
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Hermes is a modern and fine design hotel very close to the beach and the city center. To give you an example of what modern means, we shared our ID documents via airdrop directly to their iMac and we paid our city tax via Apple Watch. The owners have been helpful and extremely welcoming since the beginning; the room was clean and at our arrival fruit was served for free. We recommend the breakfast as well especially for the fresh home made cakes. Another important pros is the private parking as outside the area is very busy and expensive (2 euro per hour). Last but not least, they provide customers with beach umbrellas free of charge. Well done and keep going!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is within 5-7 minute walk from a beautiful beach, very nice and helpful staff, breakfast on the roof is a nice touch, parking on premises is very convenient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is super central. Parking I’m back of hotel. Small hotel but very intimate

Pros: Vito & his family went above & beyond. Our favorite place in Sicily. Location couldn’t be better.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice small hotel with good breakfast and great location and staff. Excellent beach service (chair and towels in a great location on the beach a few meters from the hotel).
Cons: The hotel (like everyone else) is in a no-drive area. but it is not a big problem as there are parking lots nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is excellent, family focused, I really recommend it. The hotel has a good location, service was top, the owner (all family) including staff was very friendly, polite and helpful, the room was very clean. We liked the hotel and people running the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly people and made our stay so comfortable. They always said “hello” with a smile:) The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed (AC, fridge, toiletries..) We arrived before our check in time and they let us in our room early. It was so nice because we were very tired from our trip to San Vito The breakfast was a nice variety and they made a VERY Delicious cappuccino! Best one of our trip The location of the hotel is perfect! It is close to many restaurants and the beach. The hotel provides their own beach service which is perfect for us. This has been the best experience in San Vito and I recommend this hotel to everyone! I hope to come back soon:)
Cons: Everything was perfect!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Well organised, friendliness, availability of staff, clean and close to the beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and good skills in English. Good recommendations for dinner and a nice beach.
Cons: A little hard to find by car but the traffic police were friendly and supportive. The location is in a restricted traffic zone that google had a hard time to find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely cozy hotel hosted by a wonderful family. And a special "thank you" to Francesco, who treated us so well! Delicious breakfast served with mouthwatering connolo for desert:)) The beach is really close: 50 meters from the entrance. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. Room is sparkling clean and bed is comfy, balcony door isolates outside noises very well. Rooftop terrace is very picturesque, especially during sunset with a glass of Aperol (ask Francesco, he makes a good one) The only thing: we booked "economy" room, and it was smaller than expected, i.e. I barely fit into the shower:) But overall, it was a great experience. Definitely recommend!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff who were very helpful. They told us where to park, and even procured us a ride to the parking from a baker delivering food to the hotel.
Cons: Rooms were small
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was awesome, great service, very clean and comfortable, close to beach, sea view from rooftop terrace.
Cons: Pay parking 1 KM away, or can pay more for valet. Little confusing getting to hotel with local driving restrictions.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms where clean, bathrooms spotless and updated. The building is gorgeous. The location is prime. The owners are so attentive to the guest needs, she has been doing this since she was 14 years old working with father at another establishment in town. Last but not least the breakfast on the “terrazza”, roof top terrace was a great way to start the day.
Cons: The only negative would be an issue that all the B&B’s and hotels from Rome to Sicily, that we stayed in have, not enough A/C. At least for what we are used to. But I can say one thing all filters that I checked for the room a/c units were clean at check-in, I can’t say the same for most American hotels.

Cons: a little for breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great place to stay. We loved everything! Breakfast was great, room is very clean and comfortable. Though it's pretty far form the beach, this is the best value for money. The host was very nice and we were so pleased to receive small souvenir in the end:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern, big and comfortable rooms with a charming patio . The b&b has also a top floor with an amazing view of the city and the sea. We can easily park the car in front of the building and this is not too far from the downtown area (10 min walking ). Very helpful and very kind staff. Loved it!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This was probably one of the best rooms we stayed in Sicily! Great design, comfortable, super clean. Breakfast was very good, with proper coffee and delicious pastry. The location is also very good in a quiet area, 10-15min walking from the centre, easy parking. The hosts were very nice although they didn't speak much English. They definitely made an effort to communicate and that was very appreciated. We would definitely recommend Rivazurra Design Rooms
Cons: We were there in early April and it was a bit cold, we didn't find a way to make the AC work and there were no extra blankets. This shouldn't be a problem in the summer or warmer days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located, comfy, super clean, friendly staff!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hostel with a great atmosphere! Actually I felt more like in a luxurious villa with friends than in a simple hostel. The hostel is clean, safe, great value for money and has a big terrace where you can relax during aperitivo and socialize with other guests. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean. The hostel organizes many activities like yoga classes, cooking lessons (which is probably very attractive for people traveling alone) and other interesting things. My fourth time here, love you guys!
Cons: Everything was Ok
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is incredibly good there.. Such a nice way to start the day.. The beds and pillows are super comfy, the organisation is very good, everything in place and spotless clean. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, the owner Marco did a very good job opening and managing such a lovely place.

Pros: This place is really well organized and nicely decorated. The garden is fantastic and the kitchen is surprisingly well equipped. The breakfast was yummy! The staff was quite nice and I really appreciate the fact that they don't make any problems with storing your luggage in case of an early check-in/late check-out.
Cons: I know it's a hostel, and I know what a dorm is, but if you book a bed in a room for 6, it's not ok to find there are 7 people there (it was really muggy in the morning. Plus more people use the bathroom and the sockets - not every bed has its own).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything about the place was wonderful. its kind of oasis with its special atmosphere! welcome by its charming owner which is spreading a lot of good and positive energy <3 delicious breakfast! thank you a lot!
Cons: too short stay:'(((

7.5 Good
Pros: A nice welcome to the hotel, greated with a glass of prosecco. The guy that checked us in was very helpful and arranged us some parking nearby at and extra cost. The room was very small and the balcony was only big enough for one chair and the washing line. It actually suited us fine for a one night trip into the town and then moving on to the next destination. Any longer than that I think we would of struggled with the lack of space. The room was very modern and bright. The Bathroom was lovely.
Cons: The rooms are small and the room did seem very expensive for what it was. However still a very nice hotel.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was really good and the view from the roof terrace is very nice. Friendly staff.

7.1 Good
Pros: Good location in relation to the town. Breakfast was nice. Roof top terrace was pleasant. Very clean.

Cons: Nil
5.8 Okay
Pros: There was nothing I liked in particular, location was ok, and the staff friendly and helpful
Cons: Getting to it is a nightmare but that is due to the authorities poor city management. There is no parking. Super cheap toillette paper, empty minibar, no elevator(horror)! Poor sheets
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean room, good location, staff helpful.
Cons: There is a restaurant in adjoining building and our room and the whole hotel smelled like a fried fish at times. Only Italian channels on tv.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent - so close to the beach and all the restaurants. We thank Patrizia and Dina especially for their attention of us. Breakfast was amazing each morning and their knowledge of San Vito lo Capo and surrounding areas made our stay so pleasurable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and our room was very clean, the staff was helpful, specially Patrizia and the Lady who served us coffee in the morning. It’s a few steps from the beach, and the balcony gives you a side see view. In the area there is plenty good restaurants and places where you can eat.
Cons: Lack of kettle and tea cups in the room. A very crowded beach. It’s difficult to get to the hotel which is not there fault but the information/ instruction how to get there by car should be available to people as when we arrived in the evening the Lady at the reception didn’t speak English at all and was pretending that she can’t hear us over the phone.
6.7 Good
Pros: Close to beach. Nice staff.
Cons: Very expensive for the type of room. Over priced for what you got. No staff around after midnight.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Communication with the hotel was fantastic. The cleanliness of the hotel was beyond perfect. The staff was amazing and super helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, bountiful, varied and relaxed. The coffee was great.
Cons: The air conditioning could have been a little stronger - perhaps a fan in the room would have helped.

Pros: The staff was friendly. Tasty sweet on the breakfast. The hotel is located just a few minutes to the beaches. Also should try quattro formaggi pizza in the next to restaurant.
Cons: Sometimes it wasn`t hot water, just a little warm. Sure they will fix it.

Pros: Great location 5min to the beach where you can rent umbrella and beds. Great sandy beach. Room large enough and seems newly decorated! Parking you get with the property is a bonus as San Vito can be a nightmare to park in high season. There is a shared balcony but you don't really use it as it's in front of someone else's room. Overall good place to stay!
Cons: In our room no space in the bathroom to put down your toiletries (I had to move them between the bidet and the floor). No tea or coffee making facilities (other BnB's allow use of the kitchen for that).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything :). Honestly, amazing, cozy place at amazing beach that is not too overrun by tourism. The people, Giuseppe and Cristiana, are first class and very cool people. The room was perfect. The location was an easy walk to the water and town without being right on site which would have been more touristic and loud. I'd give them an 11 if I could!
Cons: Nothing

7.1 Good
Cons: Cleaning staff making noise at 9.00 am.

7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were very nice it was a family run place and it was clean. They provided us with a bed and basic breakfast. NOt to my taste cheap cereal with nice yoghurt. Lots of cheese and cakes no eggs and bread wasnt that nice Lots of fruit to pick from.
Cons: The bed was not comfortable it was noisy and the pillows were very flat. The AC was blasting down on whoever was in the bed beside it. Had to pay for parking 10 euros a day including 146 a night for uncomfortable bed. People were nice as I said but not worth the money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly welcome from Cartia and her family Felt like we were at home were offered a drink Coffee upon arrival and when we would come and go , very helpful with restaurant recommendations ,
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The family make you feel really welcome. Room was great, really clean and breakfast was lovely. Perfect location close to the beach, supermarket and town. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: Would have liked a kettle so that we could make a drink in the room. I missed my ☕️!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was large with a good sitting area. Also, the WiFi worked well in the room.
Cons: The breakfast could have been better. It was probably ideal for Italians but not so good for English.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality, nice and friendly staff. Perfect location. Availabilty of parking lot (extra paid 10 EUR/day), which is still a good option in San Vito. Spot on cleanliness.
Cons: More variety to breakfast (vegatables, cheese) would be appreciated.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is very close to the center and to the sea. I am quite happy about my choice.
Cons: The hairdryer didn’t work very well. I didn’t like the parking was not included. I was aware of it, but I think they could include it in the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was spectacular- bellisimo! The staff was amazing, very accommodating. It felt like we were at grandmas house. One block away from the beach. Great breakfast with personal cornettos made for us every morning and cappuccinos! One morning we didn’t make it to breakfast and the staff saved us two chocolate cornettos. The staff called us a taxi on our last day with a discount. Incredible hospitality- would definitely recommend for your stay in San Vito Lo Capo.
Cons: We loved it all!

Pros: The breakfast was incredibly good, the position was great, located in the city center and close to the beach. The host was very nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and well furnished! Definitely would recommend this place!
Cons: Niente
6.7 Good
Pros: Location was excellent. A few streets from beach. Place was clean and very nice. Breakfast was okay.
Cons: Staff was not friendly. Girl at reception couldn't be bothered. We were checking out and couldn't find anyone to pay. She wasn't at the desk most of the time - even on arrival told us room not ready and was not thrilled when we wanted to leave our bags. I think with someone friendly this place would be better.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very well located, close to the beach. The employee working there was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: I was disappointed with the cleaning of the room. There was a bikini and shower gel empty packs on the floor of the shower when we arrived. The hotel was very empty as it was the end of the season, so I don't think there are any excuses for poor cleaning. We were also given a room on street level, which stopped us from opening the windows as there was no safe bars to stop people from the street to get in.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was excellent except for shower was small. Breakfast was amazing
Cons: Shower too small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: 1. Amazing hotel, room and facilities 2. Just 12 minutes walk to the beach and hotel also provided free shuttle to the beach 3. Staff went out of the way to make sure that the breakfast suited our custom requirements 4. One of the staff member (may be Mandi) was very very helpful and nice. 5. Hotel has a private area in the beach which they should surely market more as that facility was also great
Cons: 1. Hotel initially told us the use of private area of the beach is free and then another receptionist told us that we will have to pay €15, though she corrected but if it is free and worth €15 benefits then they should market it accordingly and let the guest know to make sure guest appreciates and there are no surprises. 2. Hotel policy need to be a bit more clearer- they should highlight payment of City tax in the booking.com listing. All other hotels in Sicily mention that.
