Pros: .The rooms are luxurious. Absolutely beautiful
Pros: Great building. Amazingly friendly and kind staff!
Cons: We DID NOT sleep! Their generator kept failing at night. The room was getting extremely stuffy and hot. So at 2:00 am I had to go and wake up a staff. He restarted the generator, which failed again, waking us up again at 4:00 am! Reluctantly I had to wake up the staff member again. This time he tried to start the generator but again it failed and from 6:00 am we just stayed awake. Having paid the maximum amount of money for one nights stay in Sanchi we were very disappointed. The premises of the hotel are very spacious but what a waste of space as they could have created beautiful gardens/ landscape etc but all they have is grass.
Pros: Beautiful peaceful spot in a gorgeous heritage property.
Pros: Very good property Not being run in the best manner
Cons: Maintainence was poor Understaffed
Pros: Magnificent decor, large, well appointed rooms, very quiet. Had real character - Rajasthani rather than Nawabi, which was a bit of a pity but was ok.
Cons: Staff were a little slow to respond, sometimes not around. But got to know and like them. They could do with more hospitality training.
Pros: Staff and food was very good.
Cons: Very good Heritage property.
Pros: Eccentric place in a remote location. Helpful staff. Interesting place to stay for a night.
Cons: Card machine wasn’t working for foreign cards. Being fixed “tomorrow - very sorry” is, I suspect trotted out with great regularity.
Pros: Excellent property and lovely, courteous staff. Was the lone guest and a woman that too when I went, but fel perfectly safe and comfortable.
Cons: Just needs wfi.
Pros: The peaceful, slightly isolated, location and the historic building is great. My room was huge and the bathroom had a really good shower which was very welcoming. The manager is extremely helpful and the staff pleasant. The hotel, slightly run down, but has loads of atmosphere. You can play cricket on the front lawn
Cons: I was surprised that considering the property style and tariff that I could not pay with a credit card. I was required to pay cash. Perhaps the owners would reconsider this.
Pros: The location, staff and food are some of the best I have experienced when visiting India.
Cons: On the booking.com site, it says that Visa cards are accepted. When trying to pay the bill, I was told 'only Indian visa cards will do'. I did not know there was any difference.
