Saff had a great attitude and was very helpful, location was excelent Needs better seating , better beds. Could use updated paint in room. Needs computer station in office for printing boarding passes, directions etc...Back grass area could be better utilized possibly with a gazebo type area , seating and a barbeque area.
Great location! Steps from the beach...hotel has an old Florida feel which was very nice.Staff was great, very helpful during check in (room was ready well ahead of time) and gave great suggestions on where to dine. Parking can be limited...it didn't cause a problem...but could be an issue....other than that it was a great stay!
Proximity to beach, personalized attention from owners.
Location & Staff Smell of the cottage
Good location, quiet Kind of overpriced, cottage had no screened area, nothing fabulous
This hotel is exactly what I expected. Do a little research. It is not the Ritz. It is a clean, comfortable, family owned, old Florida style hotel on the beach. For that, I highly recommend it. I willstay there again. Parking is a little cramped.
very silent, near the beach a little bit old
The location of this Hotel is beautiful. It is a smaller hotel but it is clean and the pool area is really nice. I would definitely stay here again. If you don't need all the big Hotel amenities, this is the perfect place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much.
location and staff no
The staff was amazing. We will stay here anytime we visit Sanibel- Ft. Meyers area in the future. It was exactly the type of place you want stay for a beach vacation.
Great place. Clean and beach is right there. Highly recommend. No
Very pleasant staff, clean rooms, quiet location.
Everything! The pool was perfect, right outside our door. Clean, clean, clean. Beach was right there, great walkway. Would definitely make this my go-to. My trip was too short!
Convenient location, ready beach access. Great bakery called Mom's just down the road for breakfasts! Not really. We knew it was not a 'luxury' hotel but it was very nice for the category and folks were friendly and efficient. Our room was immaculate. There was a lot of construction in the area, not their fault of course, which was a nuisance.

The dock on a small bay with tiki hut roofs and tables was fantastic to sit in the evenings. Couple blocks from the beach and many restaurants in the area make this a good location. This is obviously a motel from the 50s or 60s but we'll maintained and clean. Room was just right but it had TWO beds which made it crowded. Maybe I'm living too much in the past, but IMHO, way over priced, but is comparable with other properties in the area.
It was an excellent location. The staff was very friendly and service was amazing.
location - friendly staff - spacious clean room Rooms a little outdated but that was to be expected
Location was awesome, very welcoming staff....lots to do in the area
The manager was super friendly and accommodating. Love the fact that they have chairs, coolers, sand toys if you aren't able to bring them. Pool area is big with great chairs and lounges. The room is huge & has a great kitchen. Easy access to the beach. All in all I would stay there again. The only problem with the room was that the beds seemed old and sunk in the middle.
Good location and beach very close. A bit noisy
This was a clean and affordable place to stay when in Fort Myers. It's only 5 mins from the the beach. When traffic is bad its more like 15 mins. It's still really close to the beach. No pool or breakfast ... BUT restaurants are super close and the beach is right down the road.
We like the location and the price. The Lani Kai doesn't allow any coolers on their beach so you have to go to the neighboring establishments if you are wanting to bring a cooler. This is a MAJOR disappointment being that we are guests and not wanting to pay $5+ for a drink.
