Cons (-) After checking in with my dog, they placed us in the 'animal friendly' room. The room smelled of urine and had numerous stains on the carpet. Bedspread was very worn and also smelled. I immediately opened the room window to get fresh air, but decided to leave since the smell was too strong. Staff were kind in dealing with the cancellation.

Pros (+) Not very expensive, good location close to I-25, and we are big runners and there was a nice paved path just across the street that went for miles north and south. Very basic and kind of older, bathroom had a weird layout, but clean and a basic breakfast. Very happy with the place for the price we paid.

It took us picking up the call phone and calling the main number from our cellphones for about half an hour for someone to finally answer us and check us in. After, the guy was extremely rude because it seemed like we woke him from his sleep. If you cannot stay up then don't work nights.
