Hotels near Santa Maria Huatulco Airport

Pros: everything was great. it's the only game in the area for food and luckily their food is awesome. really quiet and great place to relax on the beach and take a dip in the pool or ocean to cool off

Cons: nothing

Pros: The privacy of this beach is truly amazing, people are already accustomed to beaches with people and services all around, this is not your average beach! On top of that, it's truly gorgeous (no picture will really explain all of this). Only be careful with the riptide (as anywhere in Oaxaca). The hotel itself is well-run by the owner and the staff is very accommodating. Pool is clean, in front of the beach and big enough to swim a bit. Food is good and a nicely prepared dinner is always served at 7pm (I really liked this, it invites for all guests to have a meal at the same time, like a small family). Again, this is not your typical "hamburger with fries at anytime" hotel! Going out for lunch/dinner is not what you get in Salchi, this being the only hotel in the area, think twice before making it a complain, this is a place meant for reconnecting with you and nature!

Cons: Rooms are somewhat simple, yet all is functional including warm water (not present in small hotels in Oaxaca). A bit of decoration (suggest from the region) would be very welcomed to give more personality to the rooms. Our bed was a bit uncomfortable and smaller than expected (suggest to change double bed for queen-size mattress). Breakfast could be served before 8am, some of us are real early birds (up at 6am with sunrise).

Pros: The food and service was excellent. The owner was hands on and always ready to do whatever he could to make your stay the best possible. No reason to stay anywhere where else.

Cons: Not a thing, other than I can not stay here permanently.

Pros: A great location and great staff that makes your stay as enjoyeable as possible. Will definitely be back !!

Pros: Its so calm and remote and the beach is right there at their door step

Cons: I liked everything about it! But if you cant or wont climb stairs this is not a place for you, since there is no elevators

Pros: This is was the perfect place to deeply unwind and relax. Our hosts were excellent and the food was delicious. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with excellent views. Our stay was so relaxing we felt we had stayed longer than we had. One day we were the only people on the beach. Absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Cons: We didn't stay long enough

Pros: The size of the room was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The A.C. worked OK, could have been a little stronger but it did serve our needs.

Cons: This is an excellent value property for the money. It's certainly not high end but it's very comfortable.

Pros: Irma was so friendly and helpful to offer things to do. Close to the Zócalo, so we didn't have to take a cab. Breakfast was included and was excellent.

Cons: So many stairs to our room. No lawn chairs to lounge by the pool.

Cons: Lot of noise at night, staff not pleasant, cheap on water bottles we were 2 and they only put one small bottle for 1 nights, and cheap on towels. Only 2 small towels for 2, nothing for the ground and for the hands... We are not complicated but for hotel like this and the price I would have expected the minimum.

Pros: Good air conditioning, excellent WIFI.

Cons: A filthy old poorly maintained dump. Staff even refuse to put lightbulbs in the fixtures. Everything in the room was dirty, in need of paint. Windows didn't close properly. AC was cold but sounded like a train coming into the station. Furthermore the room was very expensive and the breakfast was a cold tasteless buffet rubber eggs, cold beans and bland cold chiliquiles.

Pros: No one spoke English which we really liked as it made us feel we were in Mexico. Real Mexican City location.. good people good service

Cons: I contacted the property letting them know that I had to cancel my stay last minute due to a family emergency hoping that they would waive my cancellation fee. I was disappointed that they did not take that into consideration and waive my fee.

Pros: Pool was clean. La Crucetta is a safe and tourist friendly town with nice restaurants. Hotel has Wifi and air conditioning.

Cons: Staff doesn’t speak English. I booked a room near the pool with King bed but didn’t get that. No ice, no fridge, no cups. Not that clean.

Pros: We wanted a place with a 24 hour reception that wasn’t too far from the airport. The room was pretty basic, but very clean, comfortable, tv had a couple of English channels, and probably the best shower I have ever had in Mexico (good water pressure and aqua caliente)

Pros: The room was super clean every day and employees, Including the manager were really nice and helpful all the time.

Cons: This hotel didn`t met our expectation. Room was very small, no wardrobe, no any equipment to boil water, no fridge, not possible to open room window.

Pros: They maintain the hotel in a very good condition. The furniture, room, facilities, decoration, everything is super clean and new. Breakfast is good, they serve the typical mexican food with continental one as cereals and hotcakes. Good value for money. It's located just next to the ado bus station and there is an oxxo shop just next to the hotel. Its 20 min walking to the beach and 5 min by car.

Cons: The room supposed to be ready at 15.00 for the check in, we arrived at 14.00 and were promised to get the room in an hour. We came back at 16.00 and it was still not ready.

Pros: Located at the most dramatic ocean spot that I have come across. And had it pretty much all to ourselves. But the room was designed with one non-opening window and a grand set of french doors to a balcony which was used by other guests as a walkway past our room to the stairs down. So if you wanted the ocean breezes rather than AC, you had to have the french doors wide open all the time, creating privacy and security issues. If you are AC people, just fine. If not, then not the place for you. Clean and staff helpful.

Pros: The hotel has a great view from its location. The rooms are clean.

Cons: It’s not easy to get to the beach, you have to walk downhill and after a surgery or if you have problems walking it’s hard. We were lucky that rented a car because it is not easy to get to the hotel or by taxi it would be too expensive. The road is very curvy. The breakfast is very limited, only eggs, one fruit not to choose and coffee and up to 10:30 am so most of the days we had to drive somewhere else to find food. The restaurant only works at lunch and dinner but didn’t try it because we spent the day somewhere else.

Pros: Highly recommend this Oasis, for those wanting the excluded experience and personal attention. The facility is amazing in all aspects. The staff exceptional and so very willing to please. The attention to details here is exceptional. The best experience in Mexico over a month stay. I simply love mu stay here..................

Pros: The place is amazing, everything is newly built with a very mexican style. If you want to find a very peaceful spot, this is definitely the place where to go. The beach is very close, equipped with a bar and restaurant. We have been offered with a cortesy drink at our arrival and the staff was very nice. Drinking a beer in front of the ocean is true magic.

Cons: The way to get to get to El Risco is a little dismal, you need to drive carefully. But this is little compared to the beauty of the place.

Cons: We confirmed a reservation at this hotel online, then when we arrived were told it wasn't confirmed and they didnt have a room. Really terrible planning.

Pros: Everything went well, good bathroom, hot and cold water. Comfortable bed. Had a fan and ac. A little bit of noise from next door on a Friday night. Walking distance to most restaurants and good beach. Would stay again.

Cons: the room was located right next to the entrance and it was therefore quite noisy as we could here everything what the staff was saying. On my size of the bed the mattrass was deformed

Pros: The building was clean and very comfortable I enjoyed a nice vacations with my family in Huatulco, the breakfast was good.

Cons: The booking let me made a reservation with a credit card they don't accept and for that reason I was on troubles try to paying the stay, also the staff wasn't helping me with that.

Cons: It ist still in construcction. Room smelled wired, so I changed. Toilets where very dirty.

Cons: The price advarticed on booking and requested on place was different, bites from bedbugs after one night in the hostel.
