The beds were comfortable and the pool area is beautiful.

Just an average hotel. Very over-priced. Jacuzzi was dirty. Check-in was poor. We were given bad directions to our room. We had noon checkout, but our key cards quit working at 11am. We were locked out of our rooms. The front desk "fixed" our key cards, but nope. They still didnt work. We had to go back to front desk for a 2nd try. We missed our pre-wedding breakfast because of this, and it was MY son's wedding. I wont stay there again.

Location is fantastic. The pool and inner courtyard are nicely maintained and very pretty. The staff were all very nice, polite and helpful. The food on site was good, especially breakfast.

The carpeting in the hallways leading to the rooms, especially around stairway up to 2nd floor badly needed vacuuming which was never once done in the 2 days we were there. Not having an elevator to rooms on the 2nd floor was difficult for my elderly mom who was with me. The coffee maker in our room was not fit to use anymore and should have been thrown out -- it had mold inside it and looked like it was never properly cleaned.

About

Overview

The Flamingo Resort and Spa brings the Santa Rosa luxury resort lifestyle to a wider audience by focusing on pristine quarters and a luxurious spa while forsaking frill based amenities.

Built in 1959, the Flamingo housed Hollywood's elite for twenty years. Since in 1989, it has been privately owned, family run hotel working on restoring its prestige and old Hollywood glamour. While recently renovated, the five guest room layouts maintain a retro vibe, staying true to the history of the hotel. The beds are luxurious and soft. The hotel houses a full service spa for pampering. A yoga and cycling studio provides guests a fun way to stay in shape with group workout classes. The fitness and tennis club resemble the elite clubs of black and white era while including modern amenities such as a heated pool.

The Terrace Bar and Grill serves guests in the restaurant or poolside. The Sunday brunch is a popular option. The Flamingo also houses a retro-style night lounge with live music weekly. Guests can also take salsa lessons at the lounge.

The historic, retro-glam of the Flamingo lets guests slip back in time to the golden days of Hollywood, making it a perfect choice for those heading to Santa Rosa or nearby wine country.
