Log cabin-style rooms decorated with locally made furniture feature at Viikingite küla. Each is equipped with a simple shower room and some also include a terrace. A breakfast and traditional Estonian cuisine can be ordered at the spot and are served at the Viking Village Tavern. Freshly caught fish can be barbecued or smoked for you by Viikingite küla’s chef. After an eventful day, guests can relax in the sauna, available at extra charge. Viikingite küla is a 15-minute drive from Tallinn. Free on-site parking is available.
Pros: Good sauna for 2 persons - Free firewood for fireplace - friendly staff - great tavern with good food and ambiance - nice park/grounds (deserted in winter though) - good base to make trips from
Cons: Bed is super uncomfortable, its hard wooden planks with a very thin matress, you can feel the wood and creaks with every turn (we did get an extra comforter after asking) - no plates, glasses, cutlery, you cannot cook something inside - same towels for a week - no information about the park or activities - walls in kings house very thin, you can hear everything of neighbours - shower and faucets have no water pressure, water temperature is fluctuating a lot - everything in Estonian or Russian - (in winter) it opens at 11:00 if you do not reserve a breakfast days before - outside hot tub on photos cost €50 euro to use once, which is not mentioned anywhere - close to highway, you can always hear cars
Pros: Stylish accomodation, wooden cottages, comfortable double bed
Cons: The shower head was a little bit clogged so the waterflow was low. Showering women’s hair took a long time.
Pros: An amazing amount of work has gone into building everything in a "Viking" way. Restaurant food was very good, the restaurant hostess was excellent. A fun place to stay. Good value for the money.
Cons: There was no bath soap or shampoo provided.
Pros: Location, food and milieu.
Cons: Could have been cleaner. Parking was terrible.
Pros: fishing, food, place
Getliin offers accommodation in Saku. Rooms include a TV. Tallinn is 16 km from Getliin, while Viimsi is 25 km away. The nearest airport is Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, 15 km from the property.
Pros: Lady was nice.
Cons: Room too small bathroom tiny. Having to pick breakfast the night before.
Pros: Unfortunately nothing
Cons: Room price, service quality, etc.
Pros: The owner is incredibly sweet and helpful.
Cons: The house looks really cosy and beautiful.
Pros: The host was friendly. Good parking
Cons: Beds were rockhard, shower was not clean, Nice from outside, room was terribly small. Place is noisy. You can hear people nextdoor talk and snore
Saku Mõis & Saku Manor is set in Saku, next to unique baths of ÕlleSPA, 10 km from Tallinn. Some units include a seating area where you can relax. Saku Mõis & Saku Manor features free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including skiing and hiking. The nearest airport is Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, 18 km from the property.
Pros: Peaceful and quiet environment with very friendly and kind hostess.
Pros: Breakfast was very good, wide choice of food, fresh vegetables and mini croissants were our favourites. Interior of the manor tastefully historical and welcoming. Room was spacious, nicely decorated and bed comfortable and soft. We had a lovely walk around the manor in the morning. Location is another bonus - just 15 minutes drive from Tallin. Well will definetly come back to enjoy beer spa! Saku beer breweries museum is 5 min walking distance.
Cons: Sound isolation between rooms and hallway could have been better but I believe that is just something you have to deal with in older buildings.
Pros: A beautiful manor, and a lovely park area. The room was as it is in the pictures so we got what we expected. Parking is free for guests and the staff was really friendly. There is a WiFi-connection available. A simple breakfast is included in the price (eggs, bacon, sausages, toast etc.), but if you don't go early the fruit will be eaten and you will not get any. Food in the restaurant itself was tasty, but food allergies have not really been taken into consideration, which is a bit weird as there must be a lot of lactose- and gluten-free Finns visiting. There is a small grocery store within a walking distance.
Cons: There is not much of anything to do in the area surrounding the manor, except a visit to the Saku Beer Factory. The water temperature in the shower was changing all the time. There is no air conditioning, (as was to be expected) and the beds were a bit too soft. The air in the room is a bit stuffy as it is an old building, so I would not recommend this for the most allergic ones.
Pros: Impressive old building, with neighbouring park, however the room itself had quite basic arrangement.
Cons: The lady at the reception spoke only Estonian (no English, German, Russian..) and understood just a bit English. Maybe that's why they have not picked up my telephone calls (I had 3-4 attempts before arrival, as I was willing to check the working time of their restaurant). With arrival at 8.15PM no chance to have anything from the restaurant. Breakfast available from 8AM only - a bit too late on weekdays and such information should be clearly marked at reservation page. In fact, I have received small breakfast earlier (just some simple sandwiches, but always something positive!). The room was rather simple: wooden floor with no carpet (just small rug next to the bed), no TV set in the room, simple furniture, slow and unstable wifi connection. Very small bathroom with noticeable unpleasant smell, no shower cabin - just a curtain, no anti-slip mat under shower.
Pros: Staff really nice, breakfast full of options, the place was clean and tidy.
Cons: Water in the shower was only cold.
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic
With a stay at Üksik Rüütel in Kurna, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Lake Ulemiste and Ulemiste City. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was good. Self check-inn was useful.
Pros: The restaurant was really nice, had a nice vibe and good meals.
Cons: Our stay was horrible. Our room was cold and we had NO WARM WATER. We were in a suite and the room had no windows, was heated by one small pluggable heater (it was minus degrees outside so we were very cold). As mentioned, we had no warm water so we never got to use our bath tub, which was the only reason we booked this room in the first place. After we had discovered the must-have things in our room were missing we wanted to talked to the staff. We couldn't reach the staff because 7pm they had already closed their doors (we could clearly hear someone was still in the room though). So we kept knocking and calling the hotel on various official numbers and we weren't answered. In the morning we went to find the staff but STILL we couldn't find anyone. We only booked this room because of the bathtub and we were unable to use it due to not having ANY warm water... we were really frustrated and frankly this hotel ruined our vacation. Not to mention, the staff of the hotel wasn't reachable during our whole stay.
Pros: Breakfast was very good
Cons: very small rooms
Pros: It was year ago good place but not anymore
Cons: Breakfast that was always included in offer doesnt exist, instead had packed cold vegetables, apple ) funny but place is far away from center and there is noise from kitchen airflow heard in room

Pros: To me and my friends - the hotel is perfect. Its very quiet - and the owner tries everything to make our stay as nice as possible.
Cons: They shoul have more rooms with baths.
Pros: An old mansion under renovation. We received a professional story from the manor built and up to the present by now-present owners. We were also allowed to go downhill in the basement range and even up to the top floor. Nice hiking areas. We had to decide ourselves when we wanted breakfast. We also saw storks here.
Cons: After our walking tour there was nothing to complain about. The hotel is under renovation and much new is under way.
Pros: Nice park
Cons: The manor has been renovated and is not as charming as the photos. Only two bathroom and showers and you have to walk an absurd long way through the building to reach them.
Pros: + cozy terrace + sleeps good (bed, pillow and blanket are really nice) + quiet
Cons: - The price is a bit too high. - Due to old building, showers are located down in the basement. - You have one key to enter the bulding, so you need to stay with your roommates.
