So after booking a week before. They did not have the correct room only 1 king bed for 4 adults. They then called another hotel which only had a king bed as well. So we ended up staying at the Hyatt. The hotel manager also had a bit of an attitude as well. I will never make a reservation at this place again.
Always a treat
This was our second stay at The River Street Inn, and for a good reason. This place is as good as it gets. Amazing location, great views, awesome staff and really neat rooms. This place is tops.
We didn’t dislike a single thing.
Always wanted to stay here- didn’t disappoint!
The room was great- historic and clean. The location was spot on being riverfront and convenient to everything in downtown Savannah. The valet Sam and Jim were awesome! They were so helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants. Very friendly!!!!
Only thing I can say even slightly negative is the parking is a bit wonky due to the historic location. Valet is available and deff the easiest! Deck or street parking is available close by. I am familiar with savannah so I know this is a common issue there. Just have to know what you want to do.
Loved the location and the history of the hotel.
Robes were suppose to be standard in every room, but we did not have them.. I requested robes to be sent to our room, but they were never delivered. Also there is suppose to be a turn down service that is standard, but we didn't receive that either .
The River Street Inn is a 200 year old converted cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street in the center of Savannah's famous Historic District. Our unsurpassed location is within walking distance of downtown Savannahs premier shops, restaurants, and attractions. Many of our 99 guest rooms feature original fireplaces, heart of pine flooring, floor to ceiling windows, and brick walls.
