comfortable room; central location (I did not have a car); good choice at breakfast Lighting in restaurant - fitted with spot lights: some areas too bright, others too dull. Technology more suited to night club!

There was no refrigerater in the room in the 4-star hotel! Breakfast service was terrible!

staff were friendly and helpful. owner excellent chef patron. local specialities on menu were very good. good location. room was not four star. no handbasin near toilet. beds were not that comfortable. car parking limited spaces.

The hotel is located in the nice small village Gersau on Vierwaldstaettersee - all rooms have balconies, overlooking the lake. The staff apparently does not speak any language than German. Bill settlement by a credit card caused major confusion of the reception staff, and check-out process took at least 15 min.

Well, I do not know why people are going to have vacation at this place. In front of the hotel is a noisy main street, the furniture has ether be renewed or the rate has to drop, at least at this time (Jan) of the winter. The only highlight are the nice people.

Breakfast is fine. In the middle of nowhere.Only one opened resturant and a pub nearby. The hotel has a resturant but wouldn't open because the amount of people isn't enough. The local church rings the bell at odd times. There isn't a ventilation in the toilets. No smoke detector in the room.
