We booked this for our honey moon. Nightmare
Small room. They then upgraded us yo a suite and chafed us a fortune. No sorry, no offer to make our stay better. So upset will never stay again. DR. Brian Bledsoe
central city location
this is not a luxury hotel. The pool is barely adequate.
Pros: Located within short walking distance of shopping, transit station, monorail, restaurants, and Pike Place Market. Staff friendly and helpful. Soft, comfortable beds and pillows, like sleeping on a cloud. Beautiful views of the city.
Cons: A single staff member at the concierge desk treated us as if we were bothering her and wasting her time after we had patiently been waiting for 5 minutes or so for her to finish with a phone call before helping us, as if us waiting quietly near the desk to ask a question was somehow an annoyance to her.
Well done to the Westin staff. Best hotel best value!
1. Late check in around 12:30 am - due to construction and lateness of hour, it was very difficult to get in the hotel... doors locked, escalator not working, ... When it was pointed to check in Peloponnese, not a note or tone of sympathy! How can Westin put someone front desk with this type of attitude 2. Hotel fire - when we got back late afternoon there was fire earlier in the day that has left very smoky smell in our room. They put out notes but when we checked out following morning, I had to bring it up in conversation.
Loved the view! Very clean & the bed was very comfortable I would stay again.
didn't have anything to drink in the room
The exceptional quality; the beautiful hotel and room. Everything felt luxurious. Four of the (maybe six?) staff members were wonderful and courteous, helpful, and treated us like they genuinely cared about our stay. In regards to a problem with our check-in and with our charges at check-out the staff went above and beyond to help us and make us want to return.
The other two staff members we spoke with were unexpectedly not friendly or helpful or to the level that one would expect at the Westin. One was quite snarky about the fact that we had booked the room through a third party-site, telling me we "should have paid more to book through the Starwood site." The other made no effort to help us find a local food place open at a late hour, making us feel like he thought we were quite a bother. I certainly would still return to the Westin, as I know their service to be exceptional despite these two unfortunate interactions.
The location of the hotel is excellent. The workers were very helpful and kind. It was easy to check in and out.
I have stayed at other Westin hotels before and this one just did not live up to my expectations. I felt crammed in the room and everything was overpriced.
Many great places within walking distance. Restaurant staff was super friendly and comped is a desert for our anniversary.
Do drink out of the glasses in the room. Looked dirty and looks like room service just wiped them out with a wash cloth from the bathroom.
Great location and a great view. The gym has a beautiful indoor pool and plenty of cardio equipment. The glowing rings of the towers make a great locator beacon when exploring the city at night.
The room had no dresser, refrigerator, or microwave. The bed was large, but too soft. The weight room of the gym was smaller than our room. The equipment in there is good, but three people fill the place. I do wish the shower worked as great as it looked; the water temperature was adequate, but the pressure wasn’t.
Location, amenities, service
Big corporate hotel, I usually avoid them. Parking is crazy expensive and wifi also expensive.
We have come to Westin Seattle many times over the past 10 + years. It is absolutely the perfect hotel to stay at. The rooms are excellently appointed, staff is awesome, its location couldn't be better. We just have nothing negative to share. Thank you again for the "perfect" stay.
Comfort and ease of check in and out
My room was not clean at all. There were markings all over the walls and the bathroom just needed to be scrubbed down. There is also something sort of upsetting about not even getting water or coffee with your room without being charged
How close it was to shopping and transportation
how clean the doors were taps leaking as well as holder falling off of wall
Location location location. Walking distance to everything, Pike's Market, shopping, restaurants. Good area, clean, lots of activity on streets so you feel safe. Room was spacious and very clean, bed was heavenly.
Bellmen were lazy, encouraged us to take our own bags upstairs to checkin. We had a large bag, box, and 2 roll aboards. Saw many guests shlepping their own bags.
Comfortable beds, good room trmperature, great staff
No free wi-fi, parking is expensive
Comfortable bed. Good location. Nice view.
Internet was expensive and didn't work. Maid left dirty glove in bathroom.
