Pros: Concerns for cleanliness of room. Open soap found in shower after entering room on first inspection. Also found beer bottle cap on floor next to bed. The door to scan in from parking lot did not work as well, making it difficult to access room.
Cons: Cleanliness and access to room as described above. Also staff was somewhat helpful, but when describing concerns at time of checkout did not offer any apologies, only stated that they would work on addressing the problems as soon as possible.
Cons: I paid for reservation on line and got a better rate than at the counter. Unauthorized charge was made by an employee of the hotel. The dollar amount that was charged was the difference of normal rate vers the discounted amount of only purchasing.
Pros: The diner out front, Penny's had really good food and was fresh and hot. Server was very friendly.
Cons: There were dead bugs in the refrigerator and it was dusty.
Pros: Staff was good on accommodating mess up. Room was not the one we booked.
Cons: Confusion on booking. Had to be in limbo for like 15 minutes because they didn't know which rooms were occupied. Dirty towels hanging in bathroom. Floors not vacuumed.
Pros: Nice room once we finally got one.
Cons: Arrived about 1am after driving through a bad snow storm and they had our reservation cancelled.
Pros: Great value, friendly staff, convenient to eat in diner for enjoyable dinner. Room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Surprising excellence in an obscure location.
Pros: A very basic hotel room. Nothing luxury here but a good place to spend the night at a reasonable price. Friendly staff. Odd set-up in that check-in/out is through the co-located diner. No actual check-in desk or dedicated personnel in the actual motel building, but this seems to be a low-traffic road and stopping point so it is probably hard to justify that expense.
Cons: Booked the room through an on-line third party. Room was to have a queen and a twin bed. Arrived and was informed that was incorrect - only a queen for three travelers. They did provide a roll-away bed but then room was so cramped it was not pleasant. It is pretty much the only place in town for overnight lodging, They probably should have offered a room discount for the incorrect room/bed situation as a reasonable effort to correct situation, but they didn't and I was not inclined to arm-wrestle for a room discount. I would stay again but double check on the accuracy of the booking directly with the hotel.
Cons: Spider in the bed
Pros: Good price, quiet, clean and safe. Penny's Diner is also the font desk, kind of quirky, but it works!
Cons: Maid service is not daily.
Pros: The staff was very helpful fixing my mistake with booking. I accidentally put in for 1 bed and we needed 2.
Cons: The bathroom was disgusting!! There was hair in the tub and the soap scum was gross and the shower curtain was disgusting! We told them and they changed the curtain and wiped the hair out but I still couldn't stand the thought of putting my feet in there. Needed Comet and a scrub pad. And there was poop on the side of the toilet bowl when we got there and after they had "cleaned" after our first night. They got that after we complained too.
