Very central setting. Welcoming owners.
Parking is an issue in the mornings
The bathroom tiles and the wifi
I found the brekfast staff unpleasant. It seemed as if he didn't want to be there - he keep banging the plates and cups about - in fact another breakfaster commented upon this. He was quite grumpy. Maybe he should look for a new job. The cleaning lady and the young girl were much nicer.
Good location, close to shops, restaurants and attractions but on a quiet(ish) road; easy to come and go when we wanted and a car park nearby.
Service a bit uninspired; certainly not the friendliest hotel we have stayed in. Decor a bit tired and old fashioned.
I only stayed one night, but my overall impression was of an efficiently run hotel.
There was nothing I disliked.
Queit cozy place but within few minutes of town square. Family-run informality, excellent breakfast.
The breakfast window of 8-9 on a Sunday was too early, too short. The room cleaners also worked only till 11 on Sunday which was surprising.
Comfortable bed. Lots of clean white towels. Interesting old building. Handy for river.
Noisy (near building site and pubs). Instant coffee with breakfast. Lots of stairs to climb with suitcase. Overpowering "air fresheners". No thermostat on radiator. Owner not particularly friendly.
The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.
Friendly greeting on arrival, comfortable room and a great breakfast.Would stay again.
situation, very convenient
could do with a few finishing touches
Clean and tidy, staff helpful and friendly
No Parking, tv reception was poor.
