This could be one of the best properties just 5 minutes away from the busy town in SR Rooms are Amazing can not fault them Bathrooms Staff are super helpful Super pool after a hot day Very quiet area Great value too
Unfortunately the hotel has been updated the rooms are amazing huge the balconies the same with sofa chairs The owner is very nice But limited staff so they do not clean the room we stayed 5 days no problem for us, they are always happy to give clean towels toilet rolls on request Menu not great for vegetarians very limited The biggest problem was the very modern AC units that had been installed incorrectly so the plumbing had a pipe coming out the wall in the amazing bathrooms, so you had to empty a bucket every hour or so We loved it here but could definitely put some people off Hopefully one day it can be remedied as this could be a very up class boutique hotel in the Making
There's a pool, great plus with the hot weather and after a day checking Angkor Wat. Not too many rooms, gives a cozy feeling like being at home. Staff very friendly
No major issue... Not all staff members were able to speak english. (Despite that, ALL super friendly) Not walking distance from the center (but easy with tuk tuk or by bike if you rent one)
Walking out of it.
Threadbare sheets Threadbare towels No hand towels unless requested AC unit leaked Spiderwebs in the ceiling corners Ripped curtains Dirty floors Cleaning staff didn’t have proper cleaning equipment (only wet rags/broom) Location is unknown to all Tuk Tuk drivers unlike many other hotels Bathroom light didn’t turn on consistently No shower door/curtain so the entire bathroom got soaked for 1 shower No floor towel or bath mat to dry feet or floor after shower Soap dispenser was by bathroom sink, away from both shower and bathtub (one soap, no shampoo or conditioner) Mosquitos in room Fake trip advisor certificate in the lobby We booked for 6 days, walked out after 2 days. Argued with the owner for over 2 hours to get a refund. No refund was given. When I told him his hotel is misrepresented online, he said “take it up with the website”. His poor employees can’t talk with him and consistently say “I’m sorry, the owner is Chinese” as if to excuse the behavior. This was the worst booking experience ever. The high ratings on here are falsified, this is not a 3 or 4 star hotel.
The location was ok. A bit out of the way, but walking distance to the road. There was one employee who tried to be helpful and actually cleaned the shower and floor one time, after I had asked for a few days for my room to be cleaned.
Wow. Where to begin? The photos are at least 10 years old; the hotel is extremely run down. It is filthy. My room was not cleaned before my stay or during it, with the exception of the shower & room floor being cleaned once, after I asked multiple times. The toilet drain backs up and floods the floor with whatever you flushed last (and no, I didn't flush t.p.) The hose in the bathroom was badly rusted and left rusty water all over my leg every time I used it. Only one of the light switches work. The front desk is rarely manned and only one employee speaks English. They booked me a tour, but tried to scam me with it, telling me I needed to pay extra while I was already on the tour. They didn't pick me up from the airport until I was already there and called because I had been waiting. They ignored my emailed request to check in early or to receive a FedEx package there. They charged me an extra credit card processing fee and a 500 baht room upgrade fee, as the room that I had booked was "unavailable". Seriously, do not stay here. It is disgusting. The towels are literal rags with holes in them. They do not clean anything, ever. There was trash everywhere. And barking dogs will keep you up all night, as the rooms are most definitely NOT soundproof, as advertised. You'll be up anyway, with the rock hard beds.
I've been there 3 years in a row, unfortunately it's neglecting the cleaning more and more. if they would resolve that would be much better as other than that it's really good
