The friendliest staff I've ever encountered while renting a car. The cars have always operated well, no surprises on unpleasantries. The pickup process has been a little inconsistent, varying from Okay to Incredible.Cons:

It was close to the terminal is all I can say in a positive manner.Cons:
No signs or people to tell you how to return the vehicle. We had no idea that we had to go inside the terminal. Very frustrating! The initial price was great, but then there were double the taxes and fees. To expensive, we will drive our own vehicle next time.Hertz

The van was dirty. When I called to let them know they offered to clean it but I was already home and didn't want to go back. I ended up cleaning it at home. It had chunks of mud inside the van. It looked like someone had taken the mini van off roaring. If I could give a zero for cleanliness, I would. The windshield was dirty and had chips in it. When I called they said it was from a hail storm. I get it, they can't control the storm. But they can fix the issue prior to renting out the car. Wipers were in terrible shape and there was no windshield washer fluid. Car handled poorly at highway speeds. Needs at minimum balance if not alignment. Tires are wearing abnormally and the van pulls to one side. The antenna on the radio didn't work. And despit stating it had satellite radio, it didn't. When I told the agent at return, he didn't really seem to care or want to remedy it. They did give me $50 credit for cleaning the van. I will not rent from Hertz again.10.0 Wonderful

Hidden sales tax of 22.5%. Not in Kayak quote and according to my research not the law in Arkansas. Tried to resolve over the phone and Avis rep totally useless. Second bad experience in a row with Avis. Never again!5.6 Fair

My rental ended up costing waaaaay more than originally quoted. I travel ever week and the ONE time I use a personal card to pay for a trip it is 3 or 4x the original cost.Thrifty

Everything about this rental was great except for the dropoff situation at Bentonvillle airport. There were no Thrifty signs directing you where to go and no Thrifty employee was there to meet you, as I'm used to at larger airports. I parked in a Thrifty space and brought my keys inside to the rental counter, where the friendly employee helped check me back in. It all worked out in the end, but was way too confusing even for a pretty experienced traveler like myself (possibly for exactly that reason - it didn't work the same way it does at major airports).2.0 Poor

Who knew that they do not accept debit cards for payment unless you have a "return flight ticket"? Really upset that I could not rent a car because I don't have a "credit" card. I guess my experience wasn't exactly "poor" it was non-existent!10.0 Wonderful

After checking in with the counter, there was no lot attendant and it was difficult finding the car, also no one there with check in and no instruction on how to proceed. Called call center and they were rude and not helpful at all. Pay a little more and get better service if that is important to you.Sunnycars
