Located in Beaver Bay, Cove Point Lodge is a 1-minute drive from Lake Superior and 6 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It's in a quiet location with the shore view. Breakfast changes as every theme.
Cons: Price is little high, comparing to the convenience of the facility. It doesn't have many room options.
Pros: Views of Lake Superior
Cons: No lunch service
Pros: Great location just by the lake with view from our room to the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was very nice with a chimney and piano. Sadly we had to leave a day earlier because of an upcoming storm, they refunded us the night without any discussion. Will certainly come back again.
Cons: Nothing :)
Pros: Quiet, secluded, all room faced the lake. We opened our windows and fell asleep listening to the waves crashing against the shoreline (less than 50 feet away).
Cons: Breakfast was ok. No many options.
Pros: Excellent location. Clean and friendly.
Cons: We booked two queen-bed rooms, same price, very different amenities (therefore value) -- one had a deck, fireplace and jacuzzi bathtub, the other was pretty basic. That was a bit disappointing.
Cons: During stay had chimney fire and had to find new place to stay. Pretty much ruined the rest of our trip.
Pros: Quiet and Comfortable quaint hotel on a beautiful bay setting. Good food and ambiance. Overlook the lake.
Cons: Afternoon reception employee hated her job.
Pros: beautifully designed ... all rooms face the Lake. Trails to the lake, and in addition to the resort rooms, there are cottages.
Pros: The view, games in lobby
Cons: The wait for dinner,
Pros: Love the north shore. We biked from Beaver Bay to Gooseberry and back - lots of hills but beautiful ride.

Cons: The beds and pillows weren't comfortable.
Cons: Zac, the front desk staff, didn't seem very happy to be there.
Cons: The bed and pillows were terrible
Pros: the pool was great
Pros: staff was nice
Cons: I thought it was so a bit expensive
Pros: Becky at front desk was awesome. She was super nice. Loved the ice cream for sale at front desk. Pool & water slide were great. Awesome free breakfast. Love this hotel!!!
Pros: Clean, quiet, let us check in early.
Cons: Price was pretty high for a small town
Pros: The balcony
Cons: The smell of the room. Especially the floor, most likely from water from the pool area downstairs then brought back to the room and or the hot tub in the room. It smells like rotten feet. I smelled it the whole ride home too. Just staining stinch!
Pros: location on the north shore
Pros: Comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet. Nice breakfast buffet. Coffee always available.
Cons: Cost too much for an average quality hotel
