Location is amazing. Right in the centre of everything. We were able to walk easily to all the great attractions (except for the Pena Palace, which we got a local driver to take us right up to the entrance - only local drivers can access the road right to the gate, so get the reception to arrange for you) We arrived a bit early, and reception went out of their way to get our room ready for us, even taking our luggage up for us, which was excellent service. Dinner was included in our stay and was excellent - the cellar is a must see!

Very helpful and cheerful staff made the welcome and stay great! The property is very close to a lot of attractions, local shopping streets and good restaurants..some hidden close by in the alley with great view.

It was near to the national palace and old town centre shops and cafes. could see national palace from my room! Within 10min to 15min walking distance to Quinta da Regaleira. Breakfast had good variety of bread, warm food (eggs, mushrooms), fruit. Appreciated the selection of 5-6 tea types. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Loved her recommendation to eat at Incomum. Totally enjoyed the meal. Make reservations to there if you can!

The sound of ventilation fan was too noisy to sleep. The water pressure was a little bit weak.
