The studio apartment has a kitchenette and sea views. The spacious studio at B&B Boegeholmen features a bedroom, a living room with seating area and a bathroom with shower. Tea/coffee facilities are also provided. Boegeholmen B&B is decorated throughout with Asian antiques and art. In summer, guests can enjoy their breakfast in the garden or the pavilion. Pros: Lovely bed and breakfast in quiet residential area by the seaside, near Helsingør/Elsinore (one stop away in the train/30min walk by the sea). The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating both about check in time and about breakfast time (we had a very early race the following day, and had to eat ~6am). The bed is big and comfortable, the bedsheets are of outstanding quality, there was a sitting area indoors (if the weather is bad) and outdoors (if the weather is lovely). You can see the sea from the windows. The bathroom was big for Danish standards and had all we needed. I highly recommend this place.
Pros: It was super fantastic. The owner is so helpful and kind. The property is located in a very beautiful place with a beautiful view to sea. The bed is comfortable. It is very quiet and cozy. The breakfast is very good with fresh fruits. There is a possibility to eat outside which is awesome. The price is also very reasonable. We had a very good time staying here.
Pros: This place was even better than the photos. It was wonderful to be able to sit in the garden, morning noon and evening, among the roses, and look out to sea. This apartment in an old building has been beautifully refurbished, keeping old style with modern comfort. Our host was vey helpful with regard to local information.
Pros: Beautiful setting on the water, lovely room with ocean view. Exceptionally nice host and family - we enjoyed it very much!
Cons: Nothing - everything was just perfect.
Pros: Large comfortable bed & spacious rooms
Cons: Tea & coffee available but no milk until breakfast even when promised some when we arrived. No way of preparing a meal. Breakfast was a bit disappointing & seemed as if it had been prepared for some time.
Pros: The room is perfect and clean. Breakfast is good. The view from the room is superb.
Pros: Charming host and home with lots of character. Plus nice touches like good tea, coffee, muesli and fruit. Very comfy beds. Perfect stopover for us after our visit to Kronberg castle. Nice walk to store or swimming along road with pretty thatched roof cottages.
Pros: This bnb provided us with lots of space and a beautiful outlook to the water. What a great place for a quiet break with hosts who were very helpful but not at all intrusive.
Cons: It would have been great with the days so long, if the curtains were more effective in blocking out the early morning light.
Pros: view, location, friendly host, very good breakfast (at a very reasonable price).
Cons: water pressure in the taps was somewhat low
Pros: We loved the beautiful location and view. The breakfast was fabulous.

Pros: Lovely breakfast and great location
Cons: Would have preferred to have hairdryer supplied, but very minor point
Pros: dont know
Cons: dont know
Pros: Janet was most helpful, providing useful local information and recommendations for sightseeing and eating. Great stay with a relaxing atmosphere
Pros: We loved that a grocery store was right across the street and that it was a quiet neighborhood. I also loved that there were memory foam pillows and mattress pads. The outdoor terrace for dining was excellent. We were able to have my daughter's small birthday party out there. The homemade bread served at breakfast is excellent. The host is a lovely woman, ready to help with requests.
Cons: It would be nice if there were more kitchen facilities available, particularly since the breakfast menu is fairly limited. It would also be nice if the guests could enjoy more of the yard space. Especially the guests with pets.
Pros: Great location to visit Frederiksborg Slot or Kronborg Slot in North East Denmark. The property hostess is helpful and energetic which helps make you feel comfortable. The bed and its coverings were clean and provided a restful sleep. I would stay here for an extended stay the next time I visit the area.
Pros: Perfect for our stay, everything we needed and very helpful friendly owner.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable
Cons: Bathroom across the hall
Pros: Breakfast very good. House cat Missy was very nice and friendly.
Cons: Unfortunately no restaurant in the village but only a short drive to local seaside town where there were plenty.
Pros: Janet is super friendly and made us feel like at home. Place is very new, clean and cozy. Very private, family-like atmosphere. Great to explore northern Zealand. Supermarket is 30sec away which is very convenient

Pros: Cozy hotel, very personal, room decorated with style up to the smallest detail
Cons: Not the best location if you don’t have your own transportation
Cons: We were a mom & son. Mom loved it. Son wanted more action. Therefore we moved to Copenhagen
Pros: Beautifully renovated, clean and cosy atmosphere.
Cons: Although the bathroom was private it was not connected to the room, had to go through the corridor. Not a big problem but a bit odd.
Pros: ALL - only slight minus bathroom opposite of the room - not shared but you have to leave the room - for this stay I was alone on the 1st floor so no problem.
Cons: Parking was ok upon arrival, not raining, when I left it rained extremely hard, parking was completely flooded, more than 20cm water so wet shoes/feet
Pros: We had a room in the back, with a large deck and courtyard almost to ourselves and next to a walkway into the forest.
Cons: The room was small. Parking was tight for a large car.
Pros: Wonderful host that really make your experience special. The place is situated across the road from the beach and there’s a beautiful forest behind the hotel.
Pros: The comfortable room and bed,the cleanliness the attention to detail of the furnishings.Ease of parking the convenience for cycle hire, public transport. We had privacy but always assistance available.
Cons: There was work repairing the pavements making walking uneven.
Pros: The hospitality was excellent. The guides are very friendly and helpful. The villa is about 50 m from the Danish Riviera. The seashore is unbelievable.
Cons: There isn't any fridge in the room.
Pros: It was an easy and enjoyable bike ride into Helsingor along a mainly dedicated bike lane. The hotel backs onto a forest with walking paths. The breakfast area is very inviting and nicely decorated.
Cons: There was very poor communication regarding bicycle rental and shuttle service to and from the train station. The location would be very difficult without a car or a bike. The hotel has a catering business which appeared to be a priority. The hotel’s views are not as described. There is no view of the water from the breakfast room, and the garden view room is actually a view of a paved patio.
With a stay at Marienlyst Strandhotel in Helsingor, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 15-minute walk of Museum for Sofart and Kronborg Slot (Elsinore Castle). Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Helsingor? This hotel has facilities measuring 16146 square feet (1500 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Rooms are pleasant although there's no air-conditioning.
Cons: The duvet covers are very narrow and no drawers to unpack clothes.
Pros: Nice place, staff and facilities. Spa was nice and the small beach as well. Great stay!
Pros: Really nice breakfast. A few small dishes to choose from and no crazy-buffet-experience. Everything very fresh. Great coffee. Helpful staff.
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, big and elegant. Breakfast was amazing! The rooms are quite spacious and they have a view of kronborg castle.
Cons: The spa is in a separate building and you have to make reservation days in advance. Unfortunately there wasn’t any space left, which is understandable, but we were very disappointed to know we couldn’t even use the swimming pool because it’s only for people using the spa. Also, we asked for a room for 4 adults, and they gave us a one bed room, with a mini sofa bed, which could be okay for children, but definitely not good for adults! We had to book another room because we couldn’t fit in one. Which also, is understandable, but they shouldn’t have said the room was for 4 adults.
Pros: Great location and very upscale.
Cons: Room was tiny and had no air conditioning. We opened the windows but there were no screens in them so bugs and dirt flew in the windows.
Pros: Staff, breakfast, gym and bicycles
Cons: Currently renovating and thus view is not nice. Also, not much privacy due to terrace being used a lot. Single room very small.
Pros: Very cozy, relaxing atmosphere, amazing lanscape of the beach, the hotel is a walking distance away from the Kronborg castle and other possible areas of interest for tourists. The hotel provides different activities, like yoga classes for the guests. The staff is very helpful and professional. The breakfast is delicious and provides different options every day.
Cons: It's not a big deal-the housekeeping could pay some attention to spider webs on the ceilling and dead mosquitos on the floor before they tell the reception the room is ready to receive guests.
Pros: Nice building and interior
Cons: The muzak in the 1861
Pros: The hotel is located just next to the sea and the environment is very nice. The breakfast served by the hotel was amazing and very delicious we really enjoyed the food every morning. The room and bathroom where very clean and there was a lot of space in both, our beds where also very comfortable. The staff where kind and very helpful both at the reception and in the spa, we booked a sauna experience and unfortunately missed our time slot, but the staff immediately booked us a new time and helped us to find the location. The spa is amazing and we enjoyed it a lot.
Cons: The water flow in the shower was quite bad and it was a bit hard to shower when there was almost no water coming from the shower head. We also had a unpleasant experience at the hotel restaurant where we had to wait for 30 minutes before we got any help, we called the waiters several times and asked them to help us find a table and give us a couple of menus. The room cleaning service felt a bit off as our room was done only around 6pm in the evening.
Pros: Beautiful clean rooms - Spacious hotel. Fantastic view over the sea and to Sweden. Lovely daily free activities, like Yoga on the beach and bonfires in the evening.
Cons: Breakfast could have a bit more variety and better coffee.
Pros: nice hotel all round, except for size and quality of room
Cons: our room was not 4 star
Pros: the staff at the front dest were extremely cordial, helpful, cheerful and attentive, full marks to all of them. The staff handled all our questions quickly with local knowledge Fast checking in and out. Clean rooms, and pleasant reception area good parking facilities and although im not a gambler there was an enjoyable air of excitement as there was a club and casino in operation.
Cons: to use the resturant for dinner, which was our plan, a booking had to be made, at 1800 hrs we found that we couldnt get a table so ended up going out to another resturant in town. costing us a lot more, and included an expensive return taxi ride. we did get a good recommendation from the front desk staff so all turned out all right. I am a smoker and dislike having to stand outside the hotel smoking.because of rules. The hotel i think has the best arrangement i have seen yet by placing ashtrays on the covered balconies so accommodating us who are still puffing away comfortably.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, nice swimming pol, superb breakfast buffe, the view from the hotel is excelent if room is towards the sea.
Pros: The beautiful seaside scene makes me exciting.
Cons: The food is too simple. The room service is just so so. We'd been there for two days. I have to pay two-day breakfast for my little son, even if we didn't eat breakfast on the last day because we left for the early ferry in the morning. The location is not good choice if you want to go around to other cities because it is far away from the central station by walk.
Pros: We had a nice dinner in the bar with excellent service. The children enjoyed the water slide in the pool area.
Cons: The rooms we had were warm and ventilation was difficult as there was only one large patio door which had a security device on it.
Pros: the service and the rooms were perfect
Pros: Modern water front property. Easy access to Kronborg Castle and shopping area.
Pros: very nice location directly at the sea
Pros: excellent food
Cons: absolutely horrible spa area - completely run down: dirty and un-welcoming, the reception staff did only the minimum when we were checking in - no information about anything, if not asked.
Pros: The nice restaurant with very good kitchen, additional facilities (like pool)

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. This hotel has 10 meeting rooms available for events. Free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: Quiet and cosy hotel in nice surroundings, conveniently situated in Sælland. Restaurant and bar staff extremely welcoming and helpful.
Cons: Satisfactory but not particularly ambitious breakfast buffet. Interior - especially bathroom - quite worn and in need of attention and love.
Pros: Nice and relaxed location.
Cons: Bed comfort was terrible. Two separate foam mattresses which kept coming apart and off the bed base. Bed sheets were not fitted and did not stay on the mattress.
Pros: All the romantic feelings with the house did please us, the garden, the bar and all the place.... Very romantic ! - the room was nice and the bed was fine...- bathroom almost perfect. Fine towels and bed spread. I did miss that there was no ice-box in the room ! No mini-bar !
Cons: Terrible with heavy luggage...from the lobby to my room !!!!!- no help ! Many steps up to the elevator ! I am 69 years old and this was not easy ! No body came to help ! I was angry !
Cons: horrible services, unacceptable housekeeping, poor breakfast
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Poor water in shower if you want to have hot water.
Pros: The suite we booked was excellent, good breakfast, good room services
Pros: Barkeeper (Swedish) was very service minded. The hamburger was very good.
Pros: Design room, spacious and comfortable. Access to the gym is free. The park around is nice.
Cons: The beautiful picture of the facade hides in fact a huge complex (and much less beautiful), spa hotel for the elderly (who also wander in bathrobe in the corridors and common rooms). The cleanliness of the bathroom floor is questionable: lino with grime encrusted in the corners. The staff seems tired and is not friendly. Everything is optional: bike at the entrance but paying, access to the paying SPA (expensive) ... Very poorly soundproofed we endured a group of Chinese tourists who were talking in the corridors and knocking on doors.
Pros: Great breakfast, great location
Cons: Restaurant is nothing extraordinary.
Located in Helsingor, Konventum Konferencecenter is by the ocean, a 4-minute drive from Kronborg Slot (Elsinore Castle) and 7 minutes from Danmarks Tekniske Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: nice breakfast with great view over sea.
Pros: Very nice location. Friendly staff and a Lovely breakfast.
Pros: The hotel architecture and its art collection were superb. Very different from a classical hotel. Beautiful location with a lot of green and views to the sea.
Cons: The complex was like a maze. Toik time to find the directions.
Pros: The breakfast was good, the location is very beautiful but not central (so requires that you have a car), the reception clerk was very amiable, there is access to free coffee machines.
Pros: The breakfast was nice not a huge selection but just enough for a nice meal. The breakfast restaurant is located with a great view over Øresund and Sweden.
Cons: Old and dated
Pros: Lovely country place..
Pros: Good breakfast and Fantastic Location and Place Near the Water
Pros: easy access. via train. nice location. friendly staff. stylish and clean rooms
Pros: Staff was friendly and trying to be helpful
Cons: It was outdated, the wall needed painting( was peeling ),the room layout was confusing( a map would have helped) The bar was closed on the day we stayed, no restaurant either
Set in Humlebæk, 10 km from Helsingør, Villa Humlebæk offers a garden and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast offers a terrace. A bicycle rental service is available at Villa Humlebæk, while hiking and cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Copenhagen is 39 km from the accommodation, while Kastrup is 37 km away. The nearest airport is Copenhagen Airport, 61 km from Villa Humlebæk.
Pros: Very good breakfast delivered at the door. The bed is big and comfortable. The style is French country style - very homey and stylish. There is everything you need to relax and sleep quietly and comfortably. The owners corresponded politely and responded fast to questions.
Cons: The room is a bit small-ish, but the style is open, light, and there is everything you need. The surroundings are very nice and open and light. The floor in the bathroom is very cold in the winter.
Cons: The window in the bathroom not well isolated
Pros: We had a fantastic homemade breakfast. Bread, yoghurt, jam, tomatoes, eggs and more in the tranquil front yard in the sun. The room is tastefully decorated. Well planned for smal space. Great bed. Keyless door! Make sure to book a table at close by Sletten restaurant! Explore the area by foot!
Cons: Breakfast not included in price took us by surprise. But it was worth the price. Air in room not good. Lovely host!
Cons: sadly the breakfast was over-priced for what was available
Pros: The property was very quiet and secluded. The people were friendly and helpful. Humlebaek is a wonderful location to explore from. We will be going back!
Pros: Very nice very personal. Excellent place.
Pros: Loved everything about our stay. And hope to come back
Cons: The beds the brackfast the heat and shower
Pros: We loved everything - the style and the decoration of the house, the private garden close to the sea, the really delicious home-made breakfast and the friendly puppy living next door.
Pros: Clean. Cozy. Parking was good.
Cons: The shower had a restricted drain. The entire floor was covered in water. The shower head slipped off and broke when I slipped on the slippery floor. Room wasn't ready when I showed up so I had to leave. When I retured from dinner after 10 there was no indication about breakfast so I simply left.
Pros: Everything was there.
Cons: There was no breakfast. And no place to put clothes.
Pros: The location from downtown Helsingor was wonderful, it was right on the beach and on a beautiful little road. The room was nice, and the host was incredibly friendly. I felt very safe as a solo traveler.
Cons: I had some confusion during check in, but like any bed and breakfast just make sure to be in contact with the host before you arrive to make sure you know how things work.
Pros: Good access close to such a lovely and historic city ( with car). Carpark near the door. Single level access and good sized shower/bathroom. Cute and useful complete kitchenette and a coffee maker. You can be self sufficent and happy for a few days in this little B&B ( without breakfast) you can get breakfast down the road or buy at any supermarket and bring what you want to the room.
Cons: No negatives.
Cons: No breakfast for a B&B. Strict unreal cancellation policy.
Pros: This property is in a great location, with a view to Sweden, a beach right out the back door, and if you are a local, or bold enough, you swim everyday, with an outdoor shower available. Town is close. We had bicycles, and the Kronborg Castle is just amazing, worth the tour. We didn’t get a chance to try the Italian place across the street, which Klaus, our host recommended, but it was very busy when we went by. We did enjoy the “Street Food” area near the castle, with food trucks, and recommend it. BTW, Klaus is a friendly, affable host-good guy.
Cons: Minor note, there is no hanging space in the room. Kitchen facilities are fine. And actually, it was more a problem for me-I want to be a good client, but I had a pile of our bicycling gear (bicycle touring) in a pile-appearances and all. But, I think you will like this location and setup.
Pros: It's situated Close to the sea.
Cons: There was no person attending. We had to Call the host, who was at his job another Place!! He called us and said we had to get breakfast in Danhostel, which was situated 3-400 meters away
Pros: It was neat and clean
Cons: There was no shower gel in the wash room. i didn't like the color of bath towel.
Pros: The location right in front of the beach, and out of town
Cons: A bed and breakfast without breakfast, presumably for the same price. The check out was absolutely unfriendly, pointing at the watch because it was 11:30. And the matresses are too soft.
Cons: The property was described as 'Helsingor Bed & Breakfast' yet the host did not provide any breakfast. Either provide breakfast or change the name.
Pros: Great location and friendly host. Simple but neat room with all the basic kitchen utensils you need. Wifi was good and a lot of different channels on TV. The room was private with a separate entrance and easy accessible. Easy to park outside the house. Beautiful beach, which was a huge plus!
Located in Helsingor, Hotel Sleep2Night is in the business district, within a 10-minute drive of Kronborg Slot (Elsinore Castle) and Museum for Sofart. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room is big and nice. The kettle and coffe in the room.
Cons: It was very hot to sleep- no ventilator.
Pros: Very comfortable with motel design, easy to move lugage from car just outside door.
Cons: Breakfast area crowded.
Pros: Motel-style accommodation. Parking in front of the room. Breakfast.
Cons: Early check-in fee even if the room was already ready (basically you pay to be able to get in, not because they will prioritise preparing it for you, which I would understand).
Pros: Very helpfull and kind staff.
Pros: All round great experience. Car parking was easy at motel style room. Breakfast, staff, room excellent.
Cons: Bed was too soft
Pros: Very helpful staff. The bedroom was clean and cozy (very big bathroom). You have several options for the breakfast. In general, it's a very nice hotel and even if you are close to the road, it's very quiet.
Cons: It's 20-30 min walking from the train station. The walk is very nice and quiet but during the last hundred meters, you need to cross a road a couple of times in order to arrive to the hotel. I've been during June so good weather, but I guess that in a winter day, maybe it's not very confortable to have the rooms separated from the main building.
Pros: Quiet, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast.
Cons: A little bit out of town for a cyclist but drivers liked it.
Cons: A bit pricy for the standard&location, on the other hand almost everything else in the area was booked or very expensive ..... friendly staff
Hotel Skandia is centrally located in Helsingor, a 4-minute walk from Saint Olai's Church and 10 minutes by foot from Kronborg Slot (Elsinore Castle). Featured amenities include express check-out, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff.
Pros: Good location, friendly helpful personal.
Cons: Poor rooms, small and very noisy
Pros: Staff were warm and friendly.Breakfast was ok, there was kettle in the room. Location is perfect.
Cons: Bed was small and very very uncomfortable.
Pros: Excellent location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. We enjoyed our brief stay!
Pros: Great simple, clean family run hotel with really lovely breakfast! No frills an absolute Travellers delight, across the tracks from beautiful 1880s railway station - have a look at the station ceiling.
Cons: Everything perfect no complaints - country pub.
Pros: The location was perfect - just across the street from the train station in an area with lots of cafes and walking distance to the attractions. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Pros: The location is excellent for seeing the castle and the churches; the St Mariae Kirke is a must see! The owner is exceedingly helpful with the parking which was secure, convenient but very tight.
Cons: We stayed at the hotel on a Friday night during a heat wave. We had to have the windows open because there is no air conditioning so we had a lot of street noise - but the location is with worth the inconvenience.
Pros: We liked the staff, they worked in making us feel comfortable. The breakfast was good, but ask ahead if you have dietary needs. The hotel was right next to the pedestrian area, which was good, but also next to the train station (noisy!).
Cons: If you have your room on the street side (like we had), it was very noisy in the night. And for some reason our bathroom smelled very moldy.
Pros: Excellent. Home away from home
Cons: Everything was perfect. Small & beautiful
With a stay at Danhostel Helsingør Vandrerhjem in Helsingor, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Kronborg Slot (Elsinore Castle) and Museum for Sofart. Featured amenities include a computer station, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. This hostel has 4 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Activities on-site like beach, BBC, table tenis, bike rental
Pros: location, breakfast, playroom
Cons: very basic room
Pros: Location on the water.
Cons: Rooms too cramped
Pros: The location of the hostel is a very beautiful spot. The buildings are old and lovely. The kitchen is easy to use, and there are plenty of refrigerators and a freezer for everyone. There are picnic tables near the beach and we took our breakfast out there each morning. We made a picnic in the hostel kitchen and then rented bikes from the hostel for the day. I loved that.
Cons: Our hostel room was pretty small, so we had to stay very organized. Luckily, there were many shelves that we could use for that. It was helpful that our room had its own bathroom, even though the sleeping space was small. My husband found the bed a little uncomfortable, though he still had a great time.
Pros: The location is great and everything that was required for our stay was there, beds, kitchen, facilities etc.
Cons: We got exactly what we paid for, a clean and functional low cost accommodation for the night
Cons: No soar in the bathroom
Pros: Great location, excellent breakfast.
Cons: Worn out, dirty, the beds were not very clean. Far too high a price for what you get. Bad value for your money.
Pros: The location is exclussive. The hostel has an access to the shore, a garden and a small beach, from where you have a perfect view of the sea and the Swedish coast. From the beach you even have a nice view of the Hamlet's castle! The main building has very nice and spacy common rooms. And there is a well equiped kitchen, where you can dine.
Cons: The beds were a bit too soft. The matress became a bit U shaped when you laid down.
Pros: Right on the beach.
Cons: Room very basic.
Cons: The staff regarded the rate on Booking.com as just the room with 1 person's stay. Extra payment per person was requested since more than 2 persons stayed despite the room was 4 person's room!
