Great location with nice views of the river; they upgraded us from club room to very spacious club suite; nice club amenities. Concierges were completely incompetent--gave wrong info re: directions and travel times multiple time making my husband arrive too early/too late for several meetings. Bad smell of moldy carpet on the club floor; furniture uncomfortable and worn--looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1970's. Not what I would expect from a Pan Pacific Hotel
Location was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although the price we paid was reasonable, we felt the room was in definite need of renovation and up-dating. The wooden dresser and night tables were worn and not very attractive.
The facilities were good but the staff treatment was insulting and substandard. I am close to demanding a refund on the bill due to how much this ruined my time there with my partner. The staff ruined the whole stay. I feel cheated by the amount I paid to get treated so poorly.
Nice rooms, nice view. Location is ok as long as you don't mind walking a bit. Bus stop right in front of the hotel - just $4.50 to the airport, runs every 20 minutes. Surly, unaccommodating staff. Don't dare show up a minute before hotel check-in time! Don't ask for directions. Don't ask for anything and you'll be fine.
The river view was the highlight. The hotel is relatively new, and the decoration is nice and suitable for young couple. Room service menu didn't have anything for vegetarians. It'd be great if we had a hot tub. limited parking outside.
The room was really great. Kitchen, washer/dryer, huge TVs in living and bedroom. The staff weren't that great.
The size of the meals from room service were the largest for a five star hotel ihave experienced
Room Serice and Friendly Staff Mini Bar Prices are extortionate
the hotel was very comfortable and probably the best hotel bed i have ever slept in, and the service of staff was excellent and very helpful in directions and the locations of different places within the CBD. Lovely stay, enjoyed every minute.
As on previous occassions we find the staff very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was excellent, bed very comfortable and room very clean, with everything provided. A wonderful selection for breakfast, a great steak house for the evening meal with friends. Walking distance to the City centre for all your shopping. We will be back.
The breakfast was good, although a bit expensive. The location of the hotel was great, both close to the conference center and the city malls. The staff were very helpful and friendly The wireless internet was very expensive,- approx 150 AUD for a week!
the efficient and courteous staff for whom nothing was a problem. the swimming pool with towels provided. the bathroom was very 'old' and seemed to let the standard down. not merely in it's fitout but obviously requiring some maintenance too.
Absolute class from top to bottom Perth prices are too expensive compared to the eastern states
They upgraded my room as it was my wedding day:))
Please write at least 15 words
Absolute professionalism of staff. Decore, friendliness and surroundings. I love the hotel, however, a bar that serves drinks (alcoholic, no-alcoholic etc) that is available for those that do not want to enter Casino either before restaurants open or after restaurants close. No quiet place to chat, have a drink out of the hours above within the hotel complex.
Very happy with our stay
convenient to the show we were attending & to the casino pillows
fantastic rooms and services available
great room, nice and big. spa was great. very clean room. would definately stay again.
was good for our christmas fuction all i had to do was walk up stairs all good
The rooms are a good size and are very well maintained and the views are very nice of the city and river. I had asked for champaigne to be in the room when I checked in and had to ring room service to get it.
No wireless network available
That we checked in early due to our daughters wedding and our room was upgraded so that we could have early access,Also we had a premium breakfast each tht was fantastic.
Stayed recently for a wedding and found the stay to be only ok..... whilst it has good access to the casino and nightlife, it is now dated. The foyer and main restaurant and being renovated so hopefully this will improve things more. The rooms are very dated and tired and are overpriced in comparison to other hotels. I was hoping for a larger and better room and although we booked a king room, we were given two single beds. We were also charged $7 to use cutlery that we requested be bought to the room. The renovations mean that the reception area is very noisy during the day.
all facilities are on-site. Close to the city, plenty of parking.
The location amidst beautiful gardens and statues, with magnificent walks at all times of the day along the Swan River were all features that made my stay memorable. It also was in very easy walking distance of the city centre fand other transport for further siteseeing and shopping.
Room was comfortable and clean. Room amenities like soap, shampoo, shower gel etc were not replaced and used ones were just left in the room.
The staff were so helpful and even booked me in early at 10am. Only one night stay as celebrating a Melbourne Cup function at the hotel, but always enjoy my stay. Had to pay $16 for parking ontop of hotel room. Parking should be free for hotel guests.
Easy and pleasant check in and no hassles Nothing
Location The restuarant had stained/dirty chairs and the service during buffet breakfast was not up to scratch for a hotel of this quality.
The design and the location of this hotel is excellent, modern decore and comfortable beds top it of. Everything is overpriced .Parking not included in room rate you have to walk 100 meters for free parking Valet parking is just overpriced.
Nice location.Close to function we were attending. Décor in room was nice, fresh and new
Extremely comfortable beds! :) In room food menu prices were extremely high
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. We will go back next time we need to stay in Perth.
Comfortable and spacious with friendly staff Hot buffet breakfast was not value for money
the internet advertisement of free shuttle to/from airport does not exist...this was the reason why we chose this hotel despite the high price for room. the bedroom floor was dirty, my white socks turned dark brown; they forgot to put a sheet under the comforter. the concierge pointed us to a neat italian restaurant and had a great meal. we stayed one night in htis hotel (thank god!) as we were in transit from LA to exmouth, wa
Clean rooms, lovely room setting, great bathroom
Privacy, Great breakfast, nice to able to have a coffee during the day, Canapes a a couple of drinks at the end of the day to relax Could have had the 9th floor cleaned or vacuumed
I told them it was our anniversary on our booking form. They gave us a card and a complimentary bottle of champagne. Nothing
staff where not the usually friendly hyatt people i have experienced in the past. food is well below par, executive lounge is not good value for money.
Fairly comfortable and spacious room. Bathroom was nice. Staff member Junko in Cafe was pleasant. A young, Caucasian girl with dark long hair (sorry, cannot remember name) had a lovely smile and was the only one to make me feel welcome. Not all, but generally fairly poor interaction with staff. Few smiled. Concierge was not friendly and promised to get details regarding a football match and never did. One waiter seemed to pass a sly remark about our appearance to others upon arrival as we walked past the cafe to the elevator (we had just traveled 6 hours from Denmark). Small TV in room. Not value for money.
service was great, room was lovely and bed comfortable no
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment, which is good news as the room we had was tired and did not impress. The hotel caters for business types and I would not recommend it for anything else, it is functional. If you are on a vacation, I recommend booking alternative accommodation. In my opinion the Hyatt was poor value for money, ok if the company is paying but excessive when it is out of your pocket.
Paid for a river view room and got a poolside room. No tea or milk only 1 bathrobe.
Location The hotel is badly in need of refurbishment
Room service was one of the best and the girls were very polite and always had a smile the facilities were clean and tidy which made our stay enjoyable
the hotel was beautiful, the room lovely our experience was distroyed by the room next to us having a party until 4 am in the morning and myself and partner not getting any sleep. this was such a shame to such a lovely hotel. I put a lot of effort into planning this weekend as it was my partners 40th birthday. and it was distroyed
Everything we had hoped for - a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Very surprized to read adverse comments on the website - I suppose some people are very hard to please.
I enjoyed my dinner experience. Next door had left their tv on and on the first night we got little sleep.
Nice restaurant and very friendly staff. Walking distance to city shopping excellent location
The rooms are very comfortable and clean the staff are very efficient and the location is rather central. There was a mix up with the payment and rather than wait till I returned to the motel they called me up which was not convenient.
The location is excellent and the room a good size We arrive at about 11.00pm. No one came to the taxi to help with luggage and the reception was off-hand. The charge for internet connection was excessive given the room rate (it should be free in a hotel of this aspiration). There was no room safe.
I got to spend time with my husband Dinner service - they forgot our entree and I had to ask for drinks when empty - alittle poor for 5 star very slow and the restuarant was not busy
The comfortable room, Club room is private, Good Location, Uncomplicated venue.
it would have been nice to have a cover on the doona. the airconditioner was very noisy. we were unaware that the hotel did not have parking
Central location, value for money Lack of ventilation in corridors and roof. Do engineers design these places for ingress of air/oxygen?!!!!
location to all city attractions & transport serious thoughts needs to be given re: parking. maybe work out a deal with the carparks etc
It was a great location, in the city on shopping street!
when I asked for a feather pillow it was provided. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful I have a problem with lack of ventilation in the rooms.
location excellent, right in the centre of city shopping, very comfortable beds, good bathroom, clean and large room noisy, hard to use air-con and no water second day of stay, poorly handled but eventually resolved by staff
The room was lovely- modern and clean and the location couldn't get any better! Close to nightlife, restaurants and very close to shopping!! Parking- there was some provided by the hotel at $25 a night which proves to be a little steep over the course of a few days!
The location and the service was A+. We had lovely stay, would highly recommend Mantra On Murray.
nice views and also the facilities in the room was handy. parking! That was a joke!! Being from the country we do not have a choice but to bring our vehicles.
The rooms are nice and clean and I had a comfortable stay. There is free use of internet at the hotel lobby. My husband especially liked it that there is a pub with live music just next to the hotel.
The room are quite enough for the family, located near CBD The supermarket is far away from this hotel. If we want to buy something such as bread or milk, we must walk or catch a bus.
Cozy and your kindness
Very Relaxing and Comfortable.
Breakfast was Good! Bathroom was dissapointing!
Internet should be included.
Location is great! It's right in the city with free buses going into shopping area and CBD. Porters are extremely helpful.
The location and the effort by the staff. I received the wrong meal from room servcie on my first evening. The room was clearly not vacuumed on a number of days and the pillows were very poor and contributed to a poor experience. The meals were overpriced (in particular breakfast) for the quality. Overall I was disappointed with the level of service given the reputation of this hotel.
Close to the airport good for late arrival to Perth Shower floor very slippery bit dangerous for elderly people
The variety and freshness of the buffet breakfast was great and the take away meals were quick and value for money beds and bathroom could be modernised
Good location in Perth handy to walking sightseeing Broken tap and no openable windows for breeze
Particularly liked 1. free wired internet YAY! 2. the good value breakfast 3. the cleanliness of the room 4. the value parking 5. the big bed not much!
Note: None of the above words describe the Perth Ambassador Hotel (PAH). The PAH had extremely good tariffs/rates and had an excellent breakfast service. The PAH has a very dated look and feel about it. My room had carpet showing signs of distinct wear and tear (and looked a little dirty). The bathroom had taps that leaked water continuously, and one of the lights flickered on and off during the night. My room phone did not work at all, and it appeared that hotel maintenance was quite low on the list of priorities. This was very disappointing for me, and a work colleague of mine staying in a different room also had some problems with bathroom plumbing.
Good buffet breakfast .good supply of hot water, upgraded to river view room.late check out available
Convenient parking, good restaurant and staff
quite, but the service in cafe is not good.
The nifty shampoo dispensers in the bathroom leaving my mobile phone charger behind and no knowledge of it's existance when we rang and asked
Very helpful staff. Large room with all facilities including separate bath and shower.
As we were working the whole time we stayed. We used the room service the whole time wich was excellent quality and value for money. the staff were also excellent The shower ran from hot to cold and would not hold one temperature
I enjoyed having dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. I had to change the first room (808), because was too much noisy; next to the machine room. I think the hotel should add extra isolation to the wall. The room 808 is enough big to add an extra layer to isolate the noise. When you lean your head against the back of the bed, you can feel the vibration. Fortunately, I asked for changing room and they did not have any problem. :)
The musty smell in the bathroom. Difficulty finding the car park but fine there after.
It was in a very central position in the city, the room was quite good, nothing flash but plenty of room. The decor in the hallways needed a bit of a spruce up.
That I was able to park my vehicle at the hotel overnight in a secure parking bay.
Quick check in and ability for staff to park the car quickly
The gentlemen who recieved us was just excellent and wellcoming. No
The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was clean and well presented. The room was not deluxe or what I would expect from a 4 star hotel, it was small and very noisy. I could hear the tv from the next room throughout the night.
Very comfortable and conveniently located The addition of a surcharge if paying by card
easy to find the bed was a little bit uncomfortable
Closness to city shopping and the function at the bell tower that we attended on Fri night
location is good, near CBD. As a 4-star hotel, it doesn't provide toothbrush and toothpaste. We have two persons, but they only placed 1 showercap. We changed our room because of huge noise. When I complaint that the second room they changed for us is not as big as the first one, the attitude of their receiptionist is not friendly. They gave us a very snobby, not warm-hearted feeling during our stay.
It was a convenient location for shopping and other activities in the city. Breakfast was ordered and extremely disappointed in the quality of food for the price paid.
The Mecure Perth has friendly staff, great atmosphere and is close to the Hay Street Mall.
The pool on the roof....nice! The fact that the bar opened at 5pm. A bit earlier would have been good.
Room very clean and fresh Very bad staff service and attitudes especially assistant manager-felt very unwelcome upon check in because I booked online
Comfortable Bed, but noisy back street. Hotel lobby and buiding in general looks tired. Hotel staff friendly and helpful but lacked the professionlism of hotel staff in equivalent hotels in Western Europe
The fact that it was so convenient for Perth City Centre, which was a 5 minute walk away. The bathrooms were a little dated but still in good working order.
near city center rooms are niosy you feel like the guest next room are stying with you in your room also bathroom not clean, i would recommend it but for lower rate 120-130 AUD $ per night
shop till i dropped to view a movie was to expensive
Spacious and comfortable; quiet room, although in central location.
Great location Rooms could do with updating. On one ocasion the room was poorly made up - ie sheets and cover had been pulled up but bed not made (blanket was still all scrunched up beneath the cover, bathroom not cleaned, and request to replace cup which had a cracked handle was ignored. Fridge did not work so not able to keep any cool water or ice.
Convenient Location, was able to explore perth city without any difficulty, the bus stop with the cat service right outside was an added bonus! Price wise, it was reasonable, staff were very polite & service was prompt. Rooms were clean. It's my first time in perth, so i'm not sure if the prices they charged for wifi internet was expensive or not, but i felt that instead of charging each individual user for internet usage, they should have a discounted package for multiple users in a room.
We went to a show Bar closed on Saturday afternoon
Very convenient to the central shopping area Air conditioner did not work. No parking facilities
Location very good. Easy walk into the centre of Perth.
Locality to city and public transport was great.Vary helpfull staff at reception. Generally things were ok.
The spacious room with a balcony overlooking the cathedral. In addition, the staff were both friendly and professional throughout my stay. No
convenient location, friendly staff, comfortable spacious room
The location was very good, right in CBD. Room was very small, only basic amenities. A/C was not functioning properly. There was not much choice in the room service menu. They were seriously short-staffed.
Bar meals AAA+ Staff Terrific For a 24 hr hotel the very 1st greeting was! Felt like you should be some where else not very warm welcome after 6 hrs of traveling or any hrs of traveling Breakfast slightly to dear.
I felt the hotel was in a quiet location only a short walk to the main shopping centre. Generally all facilities within the hotel were satisfactory. The catering for breakfast particularly when a few guests were in the restuarant left a little to be desired.
Foxtel Nothing really. I got woken up at 6am from the loud taps running in the next room. I also called after my stay to complain about how bad the parking facility is. For $20 a night to park your car in such a tight car park is ridiculous and an absolute rip off. I had people helping me get in and out of the car park. I also have a hire car that is now completely scratched from someone obviously having trouble parking there car too. I also have never scratched a car in my life and getting out of that car park was un avoidable to not knock into a pole or the wall or even another car. I called about this to complain and whoever was the manager on duty on sunday 28th nov got my details and said someone would call me on Monday and I still have thing
localitiy to centre perth
Location to a concert at kings park was excelent also walking distant to city shops Tha lack of parking should be addressed
nothing bathrooms need renovating, dark rooms, poor layout for the space
The location is superb, the reception / front of house worked well, as did daily cleaning service (mostly), however bar / restaurant staff were overly familar with some guests and having them eat dinner at the bar is probably not a good look. The hotel is tired and in need of a spring clean - - low levels of mould in the bathroom, missing light fitting, curtains that don't quite fit the windows, broken mirror in common areas, all of which is dissappointing as the location is fantastic and most staff work well to make stay enjoyable
I liked the area - Mount Street, being very close to Kings Park, the city, the freeway, walks, and the hotel itself - the layout, 'the feel' of the place - which was comfortable, clean, warm, friendly, bright. Couldn't get the TV to work even after the maintenance person had been in, but sure it would have been if I had pursued it.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. TV programs were all good to watch. Location was close to anything in the city, the Jetty for ferry rides, and not far from train/bus station. Good value.
When we arrived and found that The Marque was on the Freeway we were a little concerned but once we settled into our room...401... we were very comfortable and appreciated the view... especially as I had 2 wisdom teeth out on the Friday and felt miserable... The king size bed was a great... thankyou... Jon has been in touch I think about a watch and now an old leather watch band that we think we may of left behind in our room or even fallen out in the carpark.. we parked in No10 and 17 bays...both items are sentimental.. the watch was from Vietnam when he served there...would appreciate it if someone could check this out please... thankyou... Maryellen... The undercover parking for us was a slight problem. The parking bays were very tight fitting.
It was very central and comfortable and we were able to take advantage of the excellent restaurant facilities. It was easy to book by Internet. We were not advised when booking that there was a "Treat for Two" offer available which would have allowed us to have included both dinner an breakfast for $229. As it was, we had a light meal in the restaurant on Tuesday, 16th November, for which we paid extra, and breakfast the following morning which was included. The room allocated was also one of the more expensive ones which - while extremely comfortable - was probably more than we needed for just one night. At the entrance, it would be a good idea to install a short ramp up to the lift at the side of the stairs - having to lug our suitcase up even the few short steps was somewhat inconvenient even though we are a relatively fit mature couple!
Friendly staff. Large clean room. none
Buffet meals were superb Climbing the stairs when the little lift was busy or somebody had left the door open.
Generally helpful staff and a good breakfast Tiny rooms
Great position with easy access to city centre. Dinner and breakfast fantastic. Stairs are a problem for me, although there aren't too many.
Comfortable rooms and friendly staff with a great smorgasbord breakfast
This is the cleanest hotel I've visited, and I usually stay at 4star hotels. The staff were sincerely pleasant and highly professional. We loved the breakfast buffet.
i loved the decor.. loved hte inhouse in built radio system. bath was awesome. bed was so comfy. loved the hote.. i would stay there again! tried to order pizza (advertised) from the in house welcome book in the room but the pizza place didnt know of the hotel at all.
Quiet hotel, great breakfast, free internet (which is hard to find in Perth!)
I booked a 1-room apartment for the 2nd and 3rd nights but was upgraded to a 2-room apartment which was great! Much better and more spacious than the original standard hotel room I stayed in the first night. Could have been more generous with the linen and toiletries, perhaps include a proper handtowel and body lotion in addition to the shampoo and conditioner? Water pressure in the shower was also a bit erratic.
It had two separate bedrooms, with decent beds in each one, was close to the airport, places to eat and shop and was very reasonably priced. Staff also very helpfull. Car park is a little tight for bigger cars, but there is pickup/dropdown parking outside and other car parks near by.
Proximity to the Swan River. I thought it was poor value for money. Room was like a shoebox and everything cost extra money. I was surprised to find that parking a car cost another $20 and if I wanted to connect to the internet that cost extra also.
spacious 2 bedroom apartment, good location to explore city filthy fans in bathroom and filthy aircondition grille, dining table not properly wiped
The convenience of being in the city and close to all ammenities and travel. The parking was not guaranteed. Our car is four wheel drive and could not go in the car park because of its height.
The room was very comfortable. Staff were very pleasant. Handy for shopping, nightlife and even for family trips. I would recommend a stay at the Mantra.
The service, it's location, the lay out of the room the balcony and tv stations where all very good. The hotel resturant did not serve a wide enough variety of food.
pool was nice. Balcony nice at night. Very spacious room. No
