Great hotel - wish there was a mini-fridge.
The staff was helpful and the hotel was clean - very happy that they allowed pets for only $50 extra (cleaning fee).
There was no mini fridge which was difficult since I had food that needed to stay cold. I used the ice machine to keep my cooler cold enough for the food, but a fridge would have been very appreciated.
Nothing special . Old hotel
When I the shuttle dropped me off at the international terminal and missed my flight
None of the above
It was a run down motel ^ with a poor coat of paint and a 90 year old elevator. Mattress was paper thin.
Decent price. Not a bad drive to downtown SF.
Dirty. Found dirty women's underwear from the pervious guest in our room. Maids just did a very poor job.
Stay was good
I was pretty happy there was a fitness facility. I really like to get in a workout every day so I was really excited it was available. I liked that there was coffee readily available also. That's always a plus.
When I called to ask where to find the shuttle at the airport, I got a very vague answer. The person answering the phone just kept saying "at departures," over and over (like three times) and wouldn't give me anything more specific than that. I wish she had said "up the stairs from baggage claim out door one" or whatever. That would have been a lot better. Honestly, I probably could have figured it out, but it was late and I had my young son with me so I just ended up taking a cab.
Barely functional hotel, poorly maintained
Pros.. (it's tough to think of any but..) The room was clean, the furniture was not damaged, the a/c worked, check in was quick, located right next to the fwy entrance.
Cons.. Located next to dark industrial buildings, saw many vagrants at night. parking is not included; $10 but no security guard. reception area floors damaged at entrance. elevator seems to have been repurposed industrial type, got stuck inbetween floors and doors opened (used stairs the whole time). Carpet in hallways dirty. Doorlock handle very loose feeling and bar latch inside of the door, very loose(almost falling off). Room had only two electrical outlets, behing the bed and tv(very inconvenient when trying to use the iron). No mini-fridge available.
Bed was hard and no fridge as advertised.
I liked that it was close to the city for day trips but not the city hotel prices, which is why I chose this place. The flowers in the courtyard were lovely.
I didn't like how damp and humid the room felt or that it was super hard to keep the room at a certain temperature. My fiance and I were broiling/freezing quite a bit throughout the night. Also there wasn't much to offer for breakfast and it was super small in the dinning room.
Not hat functoonal
It was close to the airport and the front desk woman helped me get an item to a friend. Nice rooms.
That only one staff member was working and could have used help. Elevator is poorly highlighted and hallways need yo be remodeled. The computer system was not working and the hotel could not even charge me, & waiting still for Bill. Ridiculous that parking is not included in bill. Never would suggest or go back to hotel.
I GAVE COURTESY PHONE CALLS TO ADVISE WE WOULD HAVE A LATE ARRIVAL... GENTLEMAN ON PHONE WAS POLITE... BUT WHEN WE ARRIVED WE JUST DIDNT FEEL THE WELCOME... ALTHOUGH THE CLERK WAS NOT RUDE IN ANY WAY BUT THERE WAS NOT A WELCOMING FEELING.... THE ELEVATOR NEEDS SEVERE UPDATING... I COULDNT FIND THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST.... SO WE ENDED UP LEAVING WITHOUT ANY BREAKFAST AT ALL WHICH IS WHY WE STAYED THERE TO BEGIN WITH... THE PICTURES IN THE INTERNET ARE SO MISLEADING TO WHAT THE ACTUAL BED/ROOM ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE...
free continental breakfast
I decided to stay an extra day, the hotel charged a lot more than the regular charge.
Space too small for 2 adults. Contenental breakfast too difficult to take advantage of in the small space to get to it.
