Squaw Valley Lodge can be found in the Olympic Village of Lake Tahoe. This condo resort has something to offer in all four seasons of the year.

The rooms in this lodge are all condominiums, so guests can stay in a comfortable setting that feels a little more like home than like a hotel. Some of the condos feature ski-in/ski-out access. There are suites with multiple bedrooms and studio suites. All of them have sofa beds in them as well.

Squaw Valley Lodge has a health club for guests who want to exercise during their stay. There are also massage therapists on-site who provide spa services to guests of the lodge. Outside there are hydrotherapy pools available with views of the mountains and inside there are fireside spas. Guests also have access to a steam room, dry sauna, and entertainment items such as a ping pong table while staying at Squaw Valley.

Guests have a kitchen or a kitchenette in their rooms depending on what type of room chosen. So dining can be as simple as cooking at home. If no one feels like cooking, there are plenty of options for food in Lake Tahoe that aren’t far away at all. Squaw Valley itself also has local restaurants with delicious menu options to choose from.

Winter time brings the ski season and opportunity to participate in all of the snow sports. In summer there are also lots of things to do too, including hiking, golfing, kayaking, and mountain biking.

Squaw Valley Lodge offers travelers to Olympic Village a home-away-from-home in Lake Tahoe. Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, there is always something to do at this California gem.

8.0 Very good
Pros:Location and kitchenette. Room had plenty of space for your belongings
Cons:It’s time to remodel the 80’s decor, unless your into that. But more importantly, the bed was not comfortable nor were the pillows. For the price of this hotel, you should expect a more comfortable mattress and pillows
A
7.1 Good
Pros:Room was clean and comfortable with a nice outlook
Cons:The elephants stomping around in the room above us at 4.30am onwards with what sounded like their ski boots. Would also have liked an internal breakfast option or small shop/breakfast basket option to purchase essentials such as milk, bread, eggs without having to go into the village.
A
8.5 Very good
Cons:Had no air conditioning. Was hot in loft room.
A
7.1 Good
Pros:Location
Cons:This is a SKI lodge not a summer spot. No air conditioning or mounted fans. Have cheap stand up fans and it gets HOT daytime. Was charged twice even though I asked 4 times to check if there were 2 reservations in my name. Wasn't bad but won't go back
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Loved it. The room was spacious and the furniture high quality. The kitchenette wasn't extravagant but had enough to get the job done. Fresh coffee provided every day. True ski-in/ski-out. Steps away from Squaw Village. Highly recommend.
A
8.2 Very good
Pros:Easy covered parking, fully stocked kitchenette, great location, old but clean
Cons:Pool was nice but on the cool side, only used spa. Hallways had oder but room was ok.
L
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Squaw Valley Lodge is our go to place for a winter getaway. The location is ideal and it's part of Squaw Valley so there are a ton of things to do after a day on the slopes.
M
9.0 Wonderful
Pros:The location, the price, the accommodations - everything was great! I highly recommend.
Cons:The decor was a little dated, but it wasn't nearly as dated as some previous reviews made it seem. It was charming.
T
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:A very comfortable home away from home...close to recreation and restaurants, I will definitely stay there again.
R
9.0 Wonderful
Pros:great gym and pool area. good wifi
