Relax Inn Dublin - Dublin - Building

7.9 Good (67 reviews)
Overview Reviews
This motel is less than 1 mile from Dublin Bottling Works, Texas’s oldest soda bottling plant. It offers free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk. Each guest room at Relax Inn Dublin has a TV with cable channels. A refrigerator and microwave are available for preparing snacks and storing cold drinks in guest rooms. Dublin Rode Heritage Museum is within less than 5 minutes’ drive. Tarleton State University is 11 miles away.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and linens were clean and fresh.
Cons: The only thing was the water was not hot at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here everytime we come to Dublin. The owner and family are wonderful and treat us bunch of bikers great. They are why we keep coming back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly, room very clean, allowed dogs, microwave, fridge in room
Cons: Everything was great!
7.9 Good
Pros: Budget motel was easy to find, easy check-in and met our needs. The beds were comfortable. The room had a small microwave, small refrigerator, small wall mounted TV and a wall mounted hair dryer. Older carpet but it appeared clean. Not too much to complain about.
Cons: The ice machine is outside and made it difficult to access during rain downpours. There were 3 guests in our room but only 2 styrofoam coffee cups, 2 regular coffee pods and 2 plastic drink cups. Trash was emptied every day and clean towels provided, but no floor vacuuming or straightening up the bedding. Bath towels were pretty worn so not a lot of absorbency power.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: The beds aren't the best
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and quiet nice tv,staff was very nice.easy location to go to other small towns around
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly. The motel is older and could stand to be updated, but the room was very clean with comfortable beds!
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Although we were VERY pleased with our room, and it is well maintained, it is an older structure and there was no peep-hole to see when someone came up to the door, no window facing the same direction of the door (we had an end room and the door faced a different direction than the other rooms) and no safety latch when you opened the door. There were no grab bars in the bathtub for my 85 year old mother. These are the only things I would suggest as needed improvements. Otherwise this is a great motel and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

5.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast and staff were excellent. The room was clean just needs some tender loving care.
Cons: This time that we stayed, we were on the second floor instead of the 1st floor and the noise level was really loud. I also had to report to the front desk that our shower faucet continuously dripped even when we tried to tighten it as much as we could. The smell outside of the hotel was HORRIBLE. It smelled like sewage, a bad septic tank. I was also disappointed that I could not use my Tarleton Parent Association Discount because I had booked with booking.com so I will not be booking my room this way anymore.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room.
Cons: Common areas are worn and dirty. Hotel needs to be updated.
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff friendly/helpful. Dog friendly. Nice restaurant next door.
Cons: Room had a musky smell. Carpet old, torn. Only one chair, second one would have been nice. Only La Quinta we stayed at over 3 nights that charged for pet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Out of the hotels there I definitely look forward to going down early in the morning for coffee. They for sure have the best coffee out of the hotels, and other breakfast goodies. I feel like this is my home away from home when I visit my daughter in college. At the front desk, Tristen is the sweetest, and most helpful person ever!! I love to see her smiling face after that long drive, because I know she will take care of whatever I need, and that really helps me!!
Cons: cant think of anything
9.2 Excellent
Pros: i liked that it was close to fast food places and i didn’t have to drive far to get food and it was only about 10 minutes from the concert i went to. i also liked that it was easy to check in and check out and that i was on the first floor.
Cons: i didn’t like that some of the light in my room didn’t work but i didn’t say anything bc i wasn’t going to be there much and i was leaving the next morning, also i didn’t like the fact that it’s not easy to figure out how to make the water in the shower hot and the handle for it is very confusing. i also didn’t like that they didn’t have a lot of places to park and when i got back from the concert i had to squeeze my car in between 2 trucks because there was no where else for me to park.

Cons: Right outside the building there was a septic overflow or a broken septic pipe.....fecal water was all around the building. You smelled it as you drove up and immediately when exiting the building and stepping in it in the parking lot

Pros: Comfortable room.
Cons: Common areas are worn and dirty. Hotel needs to be updated.
