Overview

The Red Lion Inn is based out of Stockbridge, Massachusetts. It is a classic Berkshire hotel in New England, and in a very intimate setting. In addition to the small inn, the place also provides 17 guest rooms in the small house -- Maple Glen.

Traditional hotel rooms along with village-type lodging are both available on the property. The main inn offers the most amount of rooms, yet each one is still uniquely decorated and provide their own characteristics and charm. The village houses are likewise characteristically different. It bodes well for the entire place which is a much needed diversion from your typical chain hotel.

It is known for its wine tastings whether inside in the dining hall or outside on the courtyard. Over 500 different selections are provided for guests. Food is also a treat as it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a Gilded-inspired hall. The cuisine is New England style and very tasty. The Tavern, Lion's Den and The Courtyard are three other unique settings to grab a meal and/or drink.

Additionally, the Red Lion Inn supports meetings in a more secluded, smaller type of space. It doesn't offer one centralized conference room but rather small places to hold meetings scattered across the acres. The rooms may look dated, but it has all the latest technological advances for a modern meeting.

Pros (+) It is so easy to be a guest at the Red Lion Inn. The staff are so willing to make your stay comfortable, the food is good and there is plenty to do and enjoy.
