Location Slippery floor
The hotel staff was very friendly and accomidating. The superior room was just that. Modern, clean and our room location was very quite and that is rare in a bustling city location. Honestly I didn't have one single complaint and that's rare for me. Couldn't ask for a better location if you're taking the train from the airport.
Great breakfast and great staff. Room was not comfortable for two people. There is a lack of storage. We enjoyed the hotel but we would not want to stay at this hotel for several days.
Convenience No windows that open up to the outside air The windows open to the inside of the airport
The pool ambiance was amazing! Loved the sauna and hot tub. Great location. Right next to the train to Arlanda, which was really convenient as a traveler! I had a hard time checking in with one of the staff members because my credit card was not working even though I explained to her that I was not going to be buying anything on the bill. Finally she understood.
So close to the train station and the center of the city. Perfect walk to the theater we were going to. Not a lot for small children, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
the Swedish meat balls i ate in the lobby bar area did not taste good.
Location and hospitality Rate
This place turned out to be perfect for my needs. I only had 24hrs in Stockholm, didn't want to waste time on additional travel to and from hotel. Easy access to airport from here. The staff at hotel was great, very friendly and accommodating. They even helped me plan my itinerary for the day! I was able to check in early, which was very helpful after an overnight flight. Room was clean and very nice. Not very large, but for being alone it was completely fine. Would highly recommend staying here!!
Very practical location and super comfortable beds, great breakfast buffet. The exterior and it's surrounding are a bit scruffy but nothing bad, could use some touches to brighten up/update it's appearance. The business rooms are rather tight, we could not open both our suitcases at the same time so we had to take turn. The hotel doesn't have a dedicated concierge so we had to trouble the receptionists who were very busy. Some receptionists are knowledgable some are not able to help much.
I needed to get medical help when I arrived at the Radisson. Nayra at the front desk arranged for me to go to a nearby clinic and made several phone calls to expedite the process. She was so outstanding in her service! Hold on to her. She is the BEST. Thank you so much!
Location and friendly staff Bathroom quite small; door could not close
Excellent high standard hotel. Friendly and professional service.
very comfortable bed and linengood reception area/bar and staff food not hot enough at buffet breakfast
location, breakfast, clean, staff no bath, cold room
yhIt is a very nice hotel with good location. The room was very clean and nice. I wish that the breakfast was not so expensive. Maybe a good offer that incloude the breakfast.
Clean and nice staff. The majority of my issues were with the cleaning staff at the hotel. Several times we had to ask for them to bring us soap as they did not replenish the toiletry items we had used each day. Also, we had to call them to clean our toilet bowl after they had done the room already because it was clearly not cleaned as part of their regular cleaning. Pretty gross. Robes were not replaced when the worn ones were taken to be cleaned. Extra towels were brought to the room upon request but then cleaning staff did not replace used towels with same number of towels, so we had to keep calling for more. Really bizarre. In terms of the free wi-fi in the lobby, it was extremely slow when many people were down in the lobby using it. Lastly, I know there was a heat wave happening when we were there but the room would just not get cool enough, very hard to sleep dripping in sweat. Also - a bar that closes at 12:30 or 1? really odd. The concierge. Ok, first day he sent us to a restaurant that was closed. Then we told him we were headed for the Icebar one night and he did not mention at all that we needed a reservation. Very poor.
room is small
The good service and great rooms They were doing renovation work, and could improve information about the noise that it causes in the rooms
The staff were very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable.
Great location very good breakfast right next to train station very helpful staff Loud outside so if sensitive to that noise from train and cars either get inside view of courtyard or keep windows closed
very clean room, nice located in city center, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast our room was really chilly and we had to ask for an extra radiator. Two separate beds are always a minus when you travel as a couple..
the lobby bar with life music the rooms and the surroundings are very old
Good location for Gamla Stan and the shopping district. The hotel is completely worn out and seriously needs renovation. Most of the staff were inattentive. The price is for the location and the name but not right for the overall value received.
Acces to veranda - no enough place fot customers
The hotel is superb!! Great location - and one of the best hotels we know - and because of that, we come back time after time. Langsholdt, Sarpsborg.
Good location for my goals for the trip to Stockholm Refurbing going on.
The bar and lobby area a lot of of people there all the time so it felt alive the first impression is that it need some renovation all over and i do not like the dirty carpets
great hotel, great breackfast, clean room everything was great! everything was great!
location and breakfast not a 4 star hotel by standard
Close to Train station and shopping district
The location of hotel is very convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Close to City terminal as well. Staff was really helpful. I left my computer in the taxi and with the help of the reception I got it back very soon. Breakfast was also good. I travelled alone but I booked a superior room for two people. Well, in view of the size of the superior room which was hardly big enough for me I cannot imagine how small would be a single room. I’m only 178cm and 71kg. So, I suppose that to problem was not with my size…
Location is excellent. Design in common areas is nice. - I found staff a bit slow and unengaged. It took them forever to find my booking and I think they could have managed the process better. They should get some training in service approach in general - The cafe/bar/restaurant closes at 9:30pm after which you can only get something to snack on in vending machines. - No wifi in fitness room
Nice room, toilet and bathroom. Good breakfast. Good location for business and turist purposes.
great place, clean, great breakfast, very good location for shopping everything was great
the location was excellent. walking distance to central station, old town, and all the best spots. lovely breakfast. the air con. was horrible there. it was like staying in a hot country at night, when it was off, very very stuffy in the room as the window was looking into a roofed courtyard. when it was on very noisy and didnt cool the room.
the location is the best place in the city, also the service is very good no
The staff so friendly and helpful.. Excellent location.. clean The only thing bothered me the air-conditioning was a bit noisy other than that everything was excellent
The location was fantastic and the staff were wonderful. The room and bathroom size.
The hotel is extremely well located in the heart of Stureplan and restaurants, bars, shopping centers happen to be all at walking distance. The only drawback is the lack of cosy, warm hotel atmosphere as when leaving the reception you get into a hall which resembles more to the an ordinary building one's.
great breakfast....great location for sightseeing. Friendly staff that was helpful when we needed it.
Great location and historic building. No gym though. Breakfast mediocre but you can easily find alternatives around. The sun shields were broken, we could not sleep well because of all the light coming in an they only fxed it after 2 nights
The location was unbeatable
best location! classic rooms is perfect. in loft room is not enough living space. in my opinion classic room is better. i don't like breakfast and room without window - it's awful!
perfect location no window room is a bit small, and much noise comes from the nearby stuff doors
Good location. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Very nice hotel/rooms with high ceiling. Great rainshower.
Dreadful music in the dining room.
Style and value in a fabulous location. The staff were terrific and I liked the boutique hotel feel!
location of the hotel
I really enjoyed the rooms- the decor was lovely and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel staff were also extremely helpful and courteous and they went above and beyond what we expected of them. I also really enjoyed that on the weekend, the breakfast buffet was open until 11:30 which allowed you to sleep a little later if you wished to. 1. I found the room to be extremely hot and I would have appreciated being able to control the temperature myself 2. The street which our room looked out over became extremely noisy in the middle of the night when the bars and nightclubs got out and as a result, I found it very hard to sleep. 3. When I was booking the room, I especially wanted a bath instead of a shower but this information wasn't available on the rooms. I was a little disappointed the room did not have a bath. 4. I have stayed in this hotel before in a standard double room and apart from the size of the room, I did not find there was any difference at all with the Superior King Room. I had expected it to be a little more 'superior' than then standard rooms!
Traveling solo I was looking for a bargain knowing most of y time would be spent touring. I got a bargain, but you get what you pay for. The room was fine, but was in the basement. Every time a nearby door closed, it slammed and was distinctly audible. The walls overall are paper thin, don't expect to have a private conversation. Breakfast was included and was more than satisfactory. The staff is also very nice and helpful. I think this is a great hotel if you're not traveling on a budget. From what I've seen the rooms in "first class" upstairs look lovely.
Security Value for the money comparing to other hotels in the same region
I was in one of the small single rooms. By myself on this trip so that was perfect. Easy access to the city center as Central Station is across the street. I've found that it's somewhat uncommon in European hotels to have an iron and ironing board in the room. This is nitpicking though. The hotel was well suited to my needs on this trip and I would certainly stay there again.
Everything prepared on time, nice room, nice breakfast, very good locaton. Lack of bar downstairs, small rooms
Good location not far from the Cental Station and Gammel Town.
nice breakfast...nice location....nice rooms
free internet, central location. No mini bar, room service closed at 9:00 pm. Regarding the room rate, they could provide a free bottle of water.
Good Location near central station Hotel was dated.
I try to use terminus every time I visit dtockholm becauce of it'sproximityto central station, and also for the friendliness of the staff.
The best is the location Small rooms
The location was very convenient, right opposite main entrance to central Station. The breakfast offered a good variety. My room was designated DeLux but was actually a very basic, dowdy, plain room. Nothing DeLux about it at all.
it was quietly at the night, so perfect for a tired family after a city trip a pool was spoilt
The feeling of countryside even if it's in a city and the sight of the old town. The windows was terrible dirty.
The atmosphere is very nice. And the art.
I've stayed in fancy hotels, but this is a true gem! I loved everything about the Lydmar Hotel - convenient location, great ambiance, friendly staff and even bfst is included. Clean and modern decor, yet still warm and comfortable. I would live at the Lydmar if I could...
The design of the rooms, the dining room and the lounge is superb. The staff is very friendly and helpful. the lounge was especially (over-)crowded during the evening/night by people not livinig in the hotel lydmar. the air condition has a relavitely strong ventilation
Staff were very friendly and flexible. Beautiful interior. Great location. No desk in the room.
The location, side by side with Grand Hotel and the Palace in front of you. Friendly and small hotel with nice restuarant. The room was sold as a small room and it was. Suprisingly no music in the room. Not a TV with radio or a Ipod connection. That was bad for a new disign hotel!
Excellent location, good large room, very helpful staff speaking good English, comfortable lounge and outside bar No
Excellent hotel! The staff is very friendly. Rooms are very good decorated (as if you're at home - books, vases, etc), beds, pillows, blankets - very comfortable. Breakfasts were good - big choice of tasty meals. Location is perfect - nearby the Royal Palace and "Open Tour" bus-stop. Shopping area is in a distance of 5 min walk. We liked everything and next time will choose this hotel again.
Great, luxurious hotel with young/hip vibe. Perfect location for sunset cocktails with live music Common area bathrooms tend to get disgusting by 11p
Fantastisk personal; hög standard på rum, restaurang i biblioteksmiljö Tillfart, parkering
The location, the service, the style. Excellent.
kindness of staff
Friendly staff, clean rooms Rooms very hot, no air conditioning
good location very expensive
The location was great. The staff was friendly & the breakfast was quite complete. The room was quite small .
Location We booked a room for a couple and they gave to us a extra miserable bed
The location was excellent and the bar at the hotel also offered a great selection of food and beer. The best thing, however, was the breakfast: generous and tasty! I had reserved the economy twin room and at arrival they put us in a combo room with one bed and an extra sofa. In the end they the hotel staff solved the problem and we stayed in a twin bedroom, but not before telling us that they had no more rooms available and that we might have to move out. Clearly, there was a disconnect between what was offered through booking.com and what the hotel had to offer.
Nice hotel. Helpful staff. Good location The walls seemed to be a bit thin. I could hear the goings on in the other occupied rooms quite clearly from my room
Location near Train Station poor value for money
friendly personnel good restaurant nearby the centre of the city
Great location. It's very close to the train station and subway system. It's a 10 walk to old town and the palace. The rooms are very small compared to US standards. The Hotel has no air conditioning so if it gets hot like it did when we went the rooms are very uncomfortable during the day.
location and quality/price ratio none
Great location. Cool and modern hotel Nice rooms but a bit small. Simpe breakfast, not so much to chose from.
First time visiting Stockholm and I can not be more pleased with my stay. Clean facilities, excellent location, and a warm and welcoming staff makes this one of, if not the best experiences I've had with hotel amenities and personnel. I will definitely be staying here during my next visit and highly reccomend it to anyone that will be visiting Stockholm's city center.
Close to train station I have booked this hotel in a hurry and relied on rating. This stay was a huge disappointment.(considering I payed $150+ per night) First of all self check in app did not work and we had to stay in line to be checked in by a person - which took a bit of time. Only one windowless room was available. We were proposed to upgrade by paying extra 150. We declined. After check in we were shown downstairs to depressing grey walled basement with stained grey carpet. Hall had an overwhelming smell of fried fish coming from restaurant kitchen. We snuck into the room trying to let in as little smell as possible. Naturally we were not able to air the room due to a lack of window. Washed but sained hand towel completed the picture. In the 8 in the morning I was woken up by loud noises coming from upstairs that resembled sound made when furniture is being moved around. I think that their grey basement cells should at least have better ventilation. I think for the hotel to be considered "good" there should not be such horrible rooms.
Really clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and wifi good. Also lots of charge options...the USB plugs were nicer to have than I thought it would be. It's not a deal breaker but it could get frustrating using my computer in my room since there's no desk or chair.
We couldn't get into our room for more than halfway through our stay. The staff was unhelpful. The acoustics were terrible and we could hear guests in the bar loudly until after midnight and again before 8:00 am.
Outstanding hotel. I was very confortable with the service, room, breakfasts. Everything was great. Even the location was ideal. I arrived at the central bus station and my hotel was across the road. Shopping and resturantes all around Scania. Nope, nothing negative. The Hotel was perfect.
The staff was really nice, the breakfast was good, it was peaceful the room was too small but it was a cabin room so I guess this is normal - maybe with booking it should be more clear what kind of a room it is
Very good breakfast
Its location. Breaksfast was good - standard Scandinavian breakfast Hotel has a dingy atmosphere. My room ( my fault for choosing a windowless cabin) was too small and closed - will not do that again.
Location The single room was like a prison cell with no Windows. O.K. for 1 night but not for any longer period.
Excellent location, and good breakfast buffet Basic and small rooms, even if we upgraded to a superior room in order to have harbour views. The restaurant run out of foods for dinner and only have two options.
The room was lovely with a wonderful view of the water
Amplasarea The rooms are very small. The accomodation is not a 5 stars hotel.
The hotel was in a very central location. The room althougt not very big it was really nice and very clean. Breakfast was a bit expensive but was nice after all. Definatelly value for money.
Excellent view over the water, but that's about it! Wifi worked reasonable. One of the worst hotels I ever stayed at! I wonder how they got those 5***** ?! It is more like a reasonable 3*** hotel. Very small room. The bath leaked (was fixed the next day though). What the hotel presents as a gym is not gym at all - the small room with the ceiling about 2 meter high, so that you can not stand on the cross-trainer without damaging your head. The equipment is literally falling apart and rusty. It is simply dangerous to try to use that so called "gym". And then the hotel sells vouchers for an extrenal gym for 150 sek, which is under reconstruction. The sauna doesn't get hot - 80 c after 2 hours! I haven't expected that kind of things from Radisson sas and I am hugely disappointed with them.
The hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location on the water. Also, once I had gotten back home I realised that there was a small overcharge on the bill. I e-mailed about it and they fixed it (credited my card) immediately. The gym was a little small.
The hotel has a good location, very nice views to the harbour and the staff is very professional. No complaints.
good location in city.
The sea view was espectacular and the rooms also
The location was excellent and its breakfast. Since it was freezing and there was a lot of snow, I used the parking facility. They charged 390SEK and the parking was outside!! The car was covered with ice and I could not open the trunk! I found it not to be correct to charge 390SEK without telling that the parking is outside.
Front desk staff: saw how exhausted I was when I arrived at check in and selected a quieter room for me, and were very helpful regarding leaving my luggage. I was surprised late at night when a gentleman was able to open my door with his key card. This gave both of us a fright.
The included breakfast was very good and had a wide variety of foods. The room was stylishly decorated. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, bars, and Metro and within walking distance to many attractions. The bathroom was too small, and the bed was too soft.
Very nice room interior. The external noise was bad.We asked for a quiet room and got one opposite a noisy bar that stayed open until 03.00 a.m. It was also above a street that was noisy.
Access to tourist locations and restaurants was easy walking. Proximity to nightclub made sleeping a problem between midnight and 5am despite being provided with earplugs.
The location of this hotel is great. The room we had was very unique and had a chandelier in it. It is right in the middle of all the nightlife. They seemed to be understaffed upon check-in as the receptionist had to bring up our bedding. The bathroom was small.
the reception desk was always empty
I found the staff to be courtious and professional. The location was ideal for bar scene and historic area visit. Room was small but comfortable.
Nothing much, though it has been a dignified old hotel. Prices at the bar were over the top. There was an unbearable odour of sewerage in our tiny room emanating from the bathroom toilet and drains. We had to abandon the room. The hotel staff eventually rebooked us at a nearby hotel as they were not able to upgrade us.
however we only stay here one night, the breakfast was very good. The bed was very good and the room was quiet. For a small room it has a lot of space. no
Situated in the city center it is a very good hotel for a shopping trip to stockholm. Too close to the open air music clubs. Very loud music all night long, so you do not have to complain about the traffic noise.
good spot, convenient for sight seeing It's a 3 nights stay in the hotel. On the 2nd day, hotel move all my personnal belongings to another room by neither asking my opponion nor informing me about the change. And on the 3rd day, my door key is diabled without any reason. I feel that the hotel doesn't welcome me at all and allowing such unprofessional things happen which seems like a hint that they want me to leave ASAP.
Good location for old town, good breakfast Tired & small rooms (certainly not 5* or even 4* standard), staff variable - some unhelpful & indifferent
Breakfast is excellent.... Bath room quite small....
the location of this hotel and the beds it was rather noisy, we slept on the left side of the hotel, on the ground floor was the kitchen and transportation of all kinds of things like the carbage, early in the morning
Fabulous breakfast included! And, if you want to explore Gamla Stan, the location is perfect! Our room was charming.
location miserable room comfort - oppressively hot in the middle of the night - air came on which was warm and couldn't be stopped - front disk claimed floors above oures required it and the air wasn't heated (baa humbug)- the bed covering was bundled so it was either the whole much too warm package or nothing - inexcusable for a high level high priced hotel
Proximity to most museums, good shopping and restaurants. Perfect buffet breakfast. Nice pool setting in vaulted basement. The early (06:00) morning wake up call by the garbage truck in the alley.
Location, polite staff Definitely not a five star hotel - have not been renovated for some time, rooms cosy
Sorry, not much to say, The room was smelling, i think it is from the rubbish bin which we can see from the room we stayed. Some views are ok. The room was too small, both my husband and i cant hardly move. The toilet and shower was not up to the std. I was disappointed and the weather was not good either. Both make my day miserable. (Mrs Pihl)
Location You can hear the people on neighboring rooms
the style of the hotel and the location
Spacious stylish room, very comfortable bed. Good breakfast buffet. Various great restaurants around the corner. -
Efficient and friendly service at reception and very comfortable room. Unaffordable rate during week - I could stay only on weekend.
Nice location in Citycenter Room 516: Directly located beneath ventilation exhaust that operates 24/7. Very noisy during the night.
Loved the location of the hotel. Staff was really friendly, excellent breakfast, good wifi. Room was nice, bathroom tiny but clean. Extremely noisy. The street outside the hotel is being repaired and the nose starts bright and early at 6 am every day!
This hotel is perfectly located to take advantage of most all that Stockholm has to offer. Two blocks to the metro and 3 blocks to the water.
Our trip to Stockholm was wonderful and Hotel Riddargartan was perfect for us. Within walking distance to Gamla Stan, Soldermalm, and countless restaurant, bar, museum, and shopping options. The staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was tremendously
The proximity of the city centre
Location is perfect. 5 min from metro. 10 min from Gamla Stan. Breakfasts were tasty. There were multiple choice of dishes. Nice atmosphere Noice from the ventilation system!!! The bed was too soft to let my back rest. The rate for the room was bigger than on booking.com
Breakfast and location close to waterfront area Intrusive noise in room (noisy a/c) - needed to request change of room because of this. Roadworks outside hotel from early am and loutish behaviour outside hotel one night made second room little better. Lift also not working and no restaurant.
I liked best that the hotel was in the middle of the city and at the same time it was very quiet. Furthermore I liked the breakfast buffet (large selection). There wasn´t a man helping with the luggage. I don´t like it if a woman has to help carrying heavy things.
friendliness staff and excellent breakfastbuffet pricy but thats just Stockholm, not the hotel specifically
