I actually went looking for this property because i remembered staying here with my parents 40 years ago. The place is largely the same and it was a trip down memory lane, so to speak. Strasburg is a lovely town and the Inn is quaint, although some of the fixtures are getting a little dated. Still, it is a very nice location and a very friendly staff. The view of the farmland is lovely. My wife and daughter were reminded of a Methodist Church camp we have visited before, although this is not quite that rustic. You won't get the heavenly shower or bed that high end hotels will offer, but it is clean, comfortable and cozy. The only thing that was a problem was our reservation was for two rooms with Kings and we were initially given 2 rooms with 2 doubles. They were able to move us for one of the rooms. Only a slight inconvenience. We also made the mistake of staying at our table at the restaurant (outdoor dining) way after dark. It got a little buggy. Not like a swamp, but more than we wanted, so we went inside to finish.
Everything & Everybody & the room Nothing
Everything from the appearance inside and outside, the Customer Service of the employees/Owners, the cleanliness, the location, the size of the room, the comfortable atmosphere, the meals at the attached restaurant, the price, the microwave and mini-fridge...Everything! I'm not just saying this: when I return to Intercourse, PA, whether it is to visit Strasburg Railroad, Miller's Smorgasbord, Bird-In-Hand Smorgasbord, the Antique Center or anywhere even nearby, I will not stay at any other hotel other than Best Western in Intercourse. I cannot complain!

location, out in Amish country close to some of our favorite shopping. price, nice clean big room w/ frigerator & microwave and nice furniture w/3 full beds great deal the sink/vanity area in the room and not part of the bathroom. one bed out of three was old and not real cormfortable
The location and the staff. We have been going here for years and it has had many upgrades in that time. The housekeeping staff is so helpful and friendly. You meet a lot of nice people there. if you are looking for the Amish experience this is the place.

Location, price, clean / comfortable room, with good restaurant across the parking lot. Coffee mwork.in room didn't work. Day two got a replacement but next morning it also did not work.
Location and price Beds were uncomfortable
Hotel was in a lovely farm area, no hustle and bustle of the shopping areas. No noise from traffic or anything. Beautiful to watch the sunrise over the farms. Great little playground! The only thing is the queen bed seemed more like a double bed.
Staff was very helpful , great location !!!!
Nice quiet, quaint, hotel in amish country.
Room was comfortable, clean and cozy. Rural setting is very nice and quiet. Heater was high in a corner. Took a little bit to warm up room evenly.
It was in a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and room was clean. Nothing.
It was a relaxing location and the view made us feel at home.Staff is very friendly.
Extremely clean! Newer hotel, spacious rooms, great price, excellent location to attractions, great breakfast (free). N/A
I location was great and my kids loved the pool. Breakfast was hectic and the items were limited to basically mufffins, cereal, toast and yogurt. I called the hotel about room avalabilites and was told they were fully booked. As soon as I got off the phone checked kayak and they had a room available. When I checked in I asked if I could stay another day and I would pay whatever the rate was. They told me I would have to check out and check back in. So I did what any intelligent person would do, I book a different hotel at a better rate. If I had to check out anyway, what's that point at pay their rate?
The cleanliness and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.
A pet friendly motel that has a great back area to walk our dog safely! The staff is very nice and the place is kept extremely clean. This is our second visit and look forward to being able to return soon!!
Location: right in the middle of this nice little historic town, and the heart of Amish country, only 20 minutes from the town of Lancaster. Bathroom was exceptional for 2-star: clean, newly-renovated. Loud, rumbling/squealing noise overhead one night, had to run AC all night to drown it out. Public spaces smelled of mildew. Bath soap was sticky and flimsy.
Clean, well-located, friendly staff, quiet. Vent fan in bathroom was noisy. Informed gentleman at check-in counter. He was very apologetic.
Big room with a safe and refrigerator. Under construction, lots of dust in the first floor. Suction motor in the Bathroom very noisy and anoying. Internet was offline most of the time. The man in the front desk didn't really care and didn't do anything to solve the problem. Very poor brackfast.
Staff was friendly and ready to please guests. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great, option to use pool and exercise room was excellent.
Well placed near to the shopping outlets and nearby eating places. Very small breakfast eating area, only space for about10 people. When we were there, there were bus groups ( 50 people ) all trying to eat breakfast together.
Location was good. Service was patchy, night attendants were helpful and polite, day attendant not so much. Facilities could use some TLC. Breakfast did not include eggs or meat.
fit the bill for a one night stay all aspects met our satisfaction
The bathroom had a very sour smell, the toilet didnt flush correctly, the bathroom was old and out dated with cracks in wallpaper. Appearance was dirty. The rest of the room was dirty. The carpet was pulling away from the walls and just appear dirty. I will not stay there again.
The pools were great, the restaurant was amazing, the location was perfect. I really enjoyed the tour of the Amish farmland that the hotel offered. I wanted to watch the hot air balloon go up and as soon as I opened up my door--there it was. No.
It was clean and conveniently located. There was a lot of construction going on at the time which did impact our stay. No breakfast included but there was a reasonably priced restaurant on the premises and a 20% discount on it. The construction (above) and the price was high.
We were in the Pool Building, it made for perfect stay. Weather was horrid. Didn't have to go outside to the pool & hot tub. Enjoyed looking at the wind driven rain outside. Everything was perfect & it's located next to the Bird in Hand Restaurant. Nothing not to like. Centrally located to all the attractions, next to a great restaurant with wonderful food, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Room was very clean with comfy beds, nice TV. Towels by the pool, A game room & workout room
Clean, nice atmosphere, good complimentary breakfast Better if they provided drinking water , milk/creamer and sugar in the room
Hard beds and they had used some kind of room freshener or cleaner that burned my eyes and nose all night.
I have no complaints other than the room carpeting needed a good shampooing, but everything else was nice & clean. I would definitely stay at Best Western again but would do it more often if they ran some discount specials. Their location was great and many amenities. Staff went above and beyond and I was shocked at their breakfast and how much was included. It was by far the largest breakfast spread I have ever witnessed offered by a hotel.
Rocking chair porch, country furnishings, and friendly staff make this a very pleasant place to stay. This was our second stay at this hotel and we will probably stay there again. Beds are a bit hard, but we slept pretty soundly anyway.
We stopped on our way to visit colleges in DE and NJ. It was very convenient and friendly. Coupons for breakfast the next morning right next door and on our way quickly.
We had a marvelous stay at this bed and breakfast. We would highly recommend this establishment! The rooms and bathroom are beautiful, comfortable, and immaculate. Robert, the innkeeper, is helpful, friendly, and a gracious host. The breakfasts are sumptuous. We will definitely return!
