10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was attentive, great breakfast, fantastic location.
Cons: Loved every thing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay in the heart of Glastonbury, right across the street from the Abbey and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Glastonbury Tor is about a 20 minute walk away. The decor throughout the place is quirky and fun, if a bit over the top. Very friendly staff and excellent filling homemade breakfasts.
Cons: Because the Covenstead (in fact, the entire town of Glastonbury) tends to cater to the new age crowd, this may be a bit more "over-the-top" than some might like, if you're not into that sort of thing. Even though we're not particularly interested in such things, the Covenstead is still incredibly welcoming and doesn't care whether you want incense or tarot cards or not. Location can't be beat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tony is an amazing host, he makes your stay extra special and nothing is too much trouble. Quite simply The Covenstead is the best place me and my friends have ever stayed at and we will be coming back again...... so get your drinking head on Tony ;-)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are really friendly but also left us to it but whenever we needed anything it was never a problem. They showed us how to use the shower and the breakfast was great.
Cons: The only downside is that it is on a very busy road where big HGV are passing by all day. We stayed in the front room and it was quite noisy and sometimes you could feel the house shake a bit when a very big lorry passed by. It didn’t keep us awake but if your not used to traffic then I would request a back room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, location, staff and room were superb. Nothing was to much problem.
Cons: The drive, to the property, was full of loose gravel so bikers be ware!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views. The combination of B&B with a campsite and holiday lodges created plenty of space and a sense of informality that was very relaxing. Good seating areas both inside and out, with ensuite rooms, provided hotel-type facilities, but without the restrictions that often apply once full board catering is provided. I would certainly use it again.
Cons: My only reservation is that options over a longer stay would feel rather restricted if a guest did not have their own transport. Car, or bike would be enough.

We really recommend this fantastic B&B to anyone visiting Glastonbury. You won't regret it.
Cons: Everything was magnificent! We wouldn't change a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Met by Sue on arrival, her welcome was friendly and attentive. She made sure that we were comfortable and had all we needed, and was always happy to answer our questions and make sure we had milk for the room or anything we wanted. I loved that we could make tea and coffee in the room, the nice mugs rather than tiny teacups many places have. It was spacious with a nice view and very comfortable. The shower in our bathroom was super nice. The town was walking distance and the street the B&B is on is in a pleasant area. The breakfast was delicious, everything we needed was provided. Excellent.
Cons: I really can't think how it can improve. Fantastic.

Breakfast served in a fridge next to you room to eat at your own leisure at the table in the room. Ideal if you have a child with you as there’s a spare single bed also. Opposite the George and Pilgrim in the centre of town. Only issue is no parking but you can park behind the church for relatively low prices.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was beautiful, very friendly and welcoming. No hesitation to recommend and cant wait to stay again.
Cons: Not staying longer!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I'll rate this excellent, because the accommodation was extremely comfortable, my vegan breakfast very tasty, and my extra heavy suitcase was carried up the stairs for me. I will consider staying there again next year.
Cons: Could you please pass on the information that it would be helpful to have a direct line of communication with the owners once the room is booked, or at least once the stay has started. I wanted to warn them that I would be arriving later than planned, but the number on the website was not answered. Once settled in, I discovered, after the shop downstairs where I had met the owners had closed, that the bedside light would not come on, and there was no water at all coming out of the bathroom basin hot tap, but I had no idea how to report these things. (t also took me over a day to discover that the wardrobe was, counter intuitively, in the bathroom.)

Pros: Thank you Justine for an absolutely lovely stay! Jasmin Cottage is a beautiful, incredibly welcoming place. It's the only B&B I've ever been to where all the guests end up eating breakfast together, chatting and laughing ... and in our case, making cat faces in the cinnamon on our eggy bread :D
Cons: Nothing at all was bad about my stay, but I think I will definitely book a massage next time. I didn't have time now, but I was a bit envious of the people who did. It might not be a good choice for people with a severe cat allergy... but if you're the kind of person who loves to see a little furry face at the door, you'll be happy.

Pros: Barn was warm, cosy and very peaceful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere of the barn and the garden were very unique. There was plenty of room within the accommodation. We both loved it.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed, hot water in shower. Comfortable seating. Plenty of space.
Cons: We were not informed at time of booking it was only continental breakfast, but this was poor quality and quantity, no pastries, except two individual wrapped pain au chocolate (aldi) no croissant, rolls, ham, egg or cheese, and only enough fresh coffee for one (half a Bodum) four slices of bread, a tiny portion of butter on a plate, and not even a piece of fruit. On top of this you served yourself as if you were in an air b&b not a bed and breakfast ,we booked on the understanding this was a traditional bed and breakfast ,the information is not clear at booking. The whole experience felt mean and penny pinching, we were not greeted on our arrival and did not meet or see the owners. We were so disappointed we left much earlier than we planned to the next morning. We certainly would not use again or recommend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was fab, it was very peaceful and so cosy. Annabel was a very welcoming and charming host. Everything you could need was in the barn (except a kitchen sink to wash the dishes). We loved our stay and will return.
Cons: Nothing apart from the kitchen sink.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely and quiet location only a short drive to street. Comfortable bed and easy parking. Continental breakfast was perfect. Toast, yogurt, jams, choc croissants, cereal, butter, milk, tea and coffee etc. A good selection.
Cons: Although the room was very spacious we thought it lacked a sink and a small hob. The area sells lovely fresh eggs all over the place and would have been nice to be able to do more cooking and there was nowhere to rinse out our dirty dishes. However, someone did come in to clean up the next morning. It also lacked the little things like kitchen towels and we couldn’t find any napkins either. The WiFi connection was not great either but that could be just the area we were in. All in all a good visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room. Clean and spacious. Nice bathroom. few things left for us in the room for breakfast. Quiet place. Lovely area.
Cons: No internet, reception or WiFi. You had to sit outside to connect to the world.

Pros: The place itself was fab ,everything you needed, just a totally chilled holiday,Mathew and Annabelle were lovely.
Cons: Could not fault it.

Pros: This was a brilliant location backing onto the Mendip way and was perfect for taking my dog. Wonderful peaceful garden and lovely people
Cons: The solid stone barn walls limit the internet but that can be a good thing!!

Pros: Quiet village pub. Staff very friendly and service excellent. Restaurant very good indeed, good value for money. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and nicely appointed rooms.
Cons: Shower a bit erratic, hard to avoid soaking floor. This is a minor point, outweighed by the other good things. Overall very fair value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was so wonderful, I don't know where to start! The room was lovely, well designed with walk-in shower, extremely comfortable. Claire and Charlie think of everything, they really do. The food was excellent for dinner and we had what we wanted for breakfast. Very picturesque and we were impressed by the locals who frequent the pub who were very friendly. All the staff were attentive and helpful. I could not have asked for a better stay.
Cons: In all honesty, I cannot think of one thing about the accommodation that could be improved. If I could think of something I would mention it. We even were lucky with the weather!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable spacious room, helpful and efficient staff, delicious food, all at fair price.
Cons: Nothing.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The old Inn is beautiful and the dining room is in the old building. Bedrooms are in a renovated separate building. They seem new and are very comfortable ,spacious and well -equipped. The bathroom had a shower and bath which we appreciated. Breakfast was served in a separate building and the buffet was a little sparse although my husband's cooked breakfast was good. We only stayed one night and we had dinner the pub restaurant in the old pub building. The food and service were distinctly better than the breakfast experience I thought.
Cons: The inside handle of the bedroom door fell off! This was alarming - I felt trapped but we were able to put it on again ourselves but we thought there was a screw missing. I reported this as we left but somehow I don't think it was given the immediate attention that was needed. The pub and restaurant seem excellent , now I think they need to lift the level of staff attention to overnight guests to the same high standard.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm with modern living.
Cons: No hair dryer and some lose fittings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb service and great breakfast

8.3 Excellent
Pros: nice breakfast and room
Cons: no wifi in the bedroom and the wedding tent was too near to the building
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very nice and relaxing with a good host with nothing being too much trouble . The breakfast area was very clean with excellent service and would have no hesitation in using this country pub again as it offered much more than just a pub - more like a nice hotel but informal .
Cons: The menu could have offered a little bit more choice but that is not to say that the food was not nice as all the food we ordered was very good .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Country pub inn perfect for 1 night stay on the way down to Cornwall. We arrived late and the staff were great kindly taking our dinner order over the phone so we didn't miss the kitchen closing which was very much appreciated and food delicious. Breakfast also very good. Lovely grounds and gardens and very large and comfortable rooms. Easy check in and check out, all very relaxed and friendly staff.
Cons: Only thing is room smelt damp, worth the owners checking (could be a leak).

7.5 Good
Pros: Nicely styled rooms and good breakfast for my partner who had cooked breakfast.
Cons: Room was rather small for the price and noise from the bar carried straight up the stairs to our room. Food was also trying to be ‘gastropub’ but was not that great and rather over-priced.
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely location friendly staff room was clean and bed comfortable.
Cons: There should be menus for breakfast and portions were small.
7.5 Good
Pros: breakfast was good and location lovely
Cons: Hot water took forever to get to the shower and the water pressure was modest
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly, dinner was delicious! We had asked for a bottle of wine for the room as we were getting married that week and everything was arranged with no problem at all! We would love to come back in the future!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very nice and helpful. Nice little village off the major A road so traffic noise was minor.
Cons: Parking was a bit hard to find at times. The worst thing was I wanted the bill to be in British Pounds and the innkeeper tried to do that but the credit card machine forced a currency conversion charge onto to the bill. I am trying to get that reversed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: comfy bed , good breakfast , excellent food

Cons: I would have preferred a hotter (and therefore slightly longer) shower.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Uniquely spiritual
Cons: Possibly malfunctioning toaster set off the smoke alarm
7.5 Good
Pros: - Location is excellent - I have never seen the hosts but in our message communication they seemed very nice - Room very basic but with a nice view - Restaurants in the area are not really great, even cafes are quite expensive for what you get - Very convenient for the coach stop to London
Cons: - Expensive to eat and foo not great - Flatmates were very noisy but of course this is not the owner's fault - I would have liked the option to have some breakfast in the morning
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I really loved my stay in the large single room at Stargaia, the room itself was quite magical with a lovely place to meditate and a view that really made me smile, the host Jeremy was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, a short walk to the Tor, Springs and town centre.
Cons: Memory foam mattresses - I'm sure most people love them but I struggle to sleep on them.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The seating area in the bay window, with view of the tor, was a dream!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, beautiful views, lovely atmosphere and tastefully decorated house, the hosts were friendly and quick to respond.
Cons: I personally struggle to sleep on memory foam mattresses so that was an issue for me, otherwise the place was fantastic.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful, quiet and safe. The only trouble for me was to bring my suitcases down the hill to the town centre, where I needed to find a place to store my luggage for a few hours. If travelling with a small luggage, the place is perfect :-)

Pros: Another good stay, comfortable room with a slick, modern bathroom. Friendly staff, everything worked. Great value, nothing to complain about.

Pros: Perfect for our needs but we were not looking for a luxury stay. It is perfectly adequate to get a good nights sleep in a lovely part of the world. Breakfast could have been a bit healthier but filled us up and delightfully attended to by staff. Quaint place. You will need to carry your cases upstairs but not too many.

Pros: the food was very good, and the staff very attentive without being obtrusive.
Cons: TV was much too small, and the while the room was quite spacious, it made the screen difficult to see.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: All round an excellent experience though we did get locked in our room at one point
Cons: More flexible arrival time. Sort the lock out on the bedroom door
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great brekkie, good location. Helpful staff and a nice pint as well!
Cons: The TV in the room was small and its audio was not very good if I was being picky! Encouraged me down for a drink in the bar, so not really a complaint!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent, both breakfast and in the evening. Staff were absolutely great. We will be returning to this pub.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really great place. Food in the pub was spot on and the breakfast was amazing. A great stay
4.6 Okay
Pros: The staff at arrival and during our evening meal were very friendly, the food and breakfast were satisfactory The room was spacious and clean The shower was good
Cons: Having a skittle alley below the bedrooms stops you from getting any sleep untill they stop playing skittle in our case at 23:15 Why on earth somebody thought it would be a good idea to offer accomodation above a skittle alley puzzles me. Our pillows were located roughly 10 foot above the alley, meaning we stayed awake untill 23:10 due to the skittle playing and shouting of a group. We had room 4, but i reckon room 1,2,3 and 5 suffer the same noise as also being located above the skittle room The rather grumpy landlord did not ask in the morning how our stay was, he only seemed to be interested in taking our payment.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The sausage wasn't great x
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bedroom. Evening meal and breakfast great.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The first impression of the property was good, especially the flowers and garden area at the front, very welcoming. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very clean and the shower very good. The tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits were very welcome. The Food was very good and the bar and restaurant staff very friendly but as it was busy on both Friday and Saturday the service was quite slow, especially on the Saturday. The breakfast was lovely a good idea to pre order and was excellent. The waitress on Saturday was helpful and friendly. It was very well coated for us to visit Clarke’s Village, Glastonbury Tor and a National Trust property.
Cons: My choice of breakfast on Saturday morning was not good, the Egg Benedict not very well executed...too much cold and thickly sliced ham and the hollandaise sauce was over cooked, but on Sunday my breakfast was lovely. The rear of the property could do with a tidy up in the car park area. The walls between room 7 and 6.....very thin !!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very satisfied, room was very comfortable and clean. Food was very good and staff very friendly.
