Cons: Reciprocating exterior and parts of interior. Will be excellent when they are done. It is very good at the moment...
Pros: The location was excellent and the staff were efficient and friendly. It was unexpectedly quiet too, given its location; though in all fairness the university was not in session during our stay.
Cons: It was a bit scruffy around the edges. No doubt due to heavy use in a college town. Not a serious issue. I would still recommend it to a friend.

Cons: I think the hotel could offer a little better breakfast than simply a continental breakfast when you consider what they charge for their rooms. i didn't know hotels still only offered continental breakfasts.
Pros: When on business I normally stay at the local generic Hampton Inn, but I decided to go upscale this trip. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is new, clean and sophisticated for a small town. Reminds me of a nice hotel in a metropolitan city. The price was a little bit more than a "Hampton Inn", but worth it. I would not recommend this hotel for families or kids. It is right in the heart of restaurants and bar scene in Kent. Would stay again if I have the chance.
Cons: As others have commented, the walls are thin and I could hear people in the hallway having discussions late at night.
Pros: Hotel staff were attentive to us the entire stay, which included welcoming a lot of wedding travelers. The hotel is fresh, new, and centrally located to Kent and KSU. I highly recommend it!
Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center puts you just a 5-minute drive from Kent State University. You can splash around at the indoor pool, grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. A 24-hour fitness center and a spa tub are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: the personnel at the front desk can often make or break your attitude about your stay. All people working at the front desk were friendly, Had can-do attitude's and showed obvious concern and respect towards their guests. A+
Cons: The only issue - a small one is that the bathroom light is too dark for women to apply make up without looking like ghouls. If this was my worst problem for the day I consider myself lucky.
Pros: Quiet setting but not isolated
Cons: Showing some age/wear. A VERY musty smell at the east end of the building ... definitely needs to be addressed
Pros: Good breakfast, the cinnamon rolls are outstanding. Pool was clean.
Cons: Really wish the breakfast would go later than 930, especially on a weekend
Pros: We travel from New York to Chicago by car often. We are always looking for a good, clean suite to stay where kids can swim as well. We found our forever mid-stop! Btw, hotel employee from the dining hall is one of the kindest person I met!
Pros: Breakfast variety
Cons: Couldn't find vending machine with water.
Pros: Best hotel we have ever stayed in in that area. We could not be happier. The room was pristine with plenty of we are home and great bedding. Lots of channels to pick from on TV, the bathroom was great. Staff also very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Bathroom light a bit dark for applying makeup. Jets in tub had mildew or grime on them - a bit of spritzed bleach or natural ingredients inWill do mildew remover from fuller brush would instantly clear it up.
Pros: real food at the breakfast. too many places have over chemical lized items for breakfast which have too many things that myself and other people are allergic to. They had real bacon with no chemicals and real oatmea with nuts and cinnamon and sugar it was
Pros: clean with comfy bed.
Cons: location was much further away than indicated!!!!
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Room mirrors need cleaning. TV did not work well
The Holiday Inn Express chain of Hotels is always on my list to stay when I travel!
Pros: It is in an ideal location for our trip to Penna.so we have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the Breakfast hit the Spot before we hit the road. Thanks Holiday Inn Express Streetsboro Ohio
We appreciated and used the free internet service and also appreciated the free parking. We always felt safe there no matter what time we returned to the hotel.
Pros: It is conveniently located right off I-80. The staff was helpful in telling us about local eateries. Our room was always clean, and the breakfasts were great. There was a variety of food for breakfast, and the area was always neat and clean.

The restaurant is the perfect spot for a bite to eat, and after having fun at the outdoor pool, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Other highlights include a fitness center, and rooms offer sofa beds and flat-screen TVs.
Enjoy your visit to Aurora with a stay at Inn Walden. After having fun at the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Rooms offer upscale touches like fireplaces and jetted tubs, along with balconies and DVD players.
Cons: They charge me three times for my room and i travel to ohio for a funeral and the day of the funeral i came out to the guys cutting the grass and there was grass all over my car i had to go to the car wash before the funeral
Pros: Very clean, comfy, and remodeled. Excellent value for the price, I would stay here again.
Pros: The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The renovations look good too!
Pros: Love everything about it. Room was beautiful, receptionist was incredibly friendly and nice. Breakfast was really good as well.
Pros: Clean rooms, pleasant staff, reasonably fast WiFi, good selection of breakfast foods, and good soundproofing. Slept soundly despite the surfeit of young children and tweens (but perhaps we were fortunate to be staying in the hotel with a surfeit of well-behaved families).
Cons: This is function of original design -- narrow corridors and tight turns on ground floor might make navigation difficult for some people.

Pros: Enjoyed a multi-day stay in this charming, friendly and well-situated inn. My 83 yr old mother and I received excellent service from a server who remembered our breakfast order each morning and gave us tips on area attractions. Front desk staff was unfailingly friendly. The lovely front porch, breakfast area, bar, rear veranda, party room and pool areas are attractive and welcoming. There is a pleasant park within walking distance. The inn hosted a wedding during our stay, and is well suited to events. Our room wasn't stellar, but was clean and overall acceptable (and had good coffee for the in-room coffeemaker, which doesn't always happen). In this era of corporate chains, I was glad to patronize an alternative with history and character. Owners are making a number of upgrades, so I look forward to a future stay to see the progress.
Cons: The inn is being remodeled so some people might find it a bit off-putting to have an older room or not have use of the lounge. Not a big deal for me. I get tired of the corporate chains. As to the reviewer who complained about the service staff, we observed staff being stretched a little thin during the busy Sunday brunch time, but a bit of patience and walking over to a server to ask for assistance worked wonders. The dining area doesn't have a check in station, so the servers have to multi-task, watching the door and serving customers.
Pros: Good location in the middle of Aurora.
Cons: Dank musty room. Construction in progress. Had bottom level room. It felt and smelled like it had been flooded. They had one very small dehumidifier in the hall for the entire floor. They needed a couple in the hallway and one in each room to dry it out. Went to the restaurant for dinner nobody sat us. Walked to the bar to ask if it was self seating. She said seat yourself and somebody will find you. They didn't. Saw staff walking around the far end of the restaurant and know they saw us but nobody came over. After we walked out, I asked the man at the front desk if the restaurant had table service. He said usually to just go sit down and wait. I said that ship had sailed. When I first checked in they said there were no more rooms at the in but it was ok because they booked me a room in a hotel in a nearby town. I said that was unacceptable because my reunion had events scheduled at the hotel that weekend. After a while they came up with a room. That was why I couldn't get a room other than they ground floor. Beds were saggy and pillows were flat. Overall terrible experience.
Pros: It was affordable and close to the area I was visiting. The staff was great, and they allow you to cancel a reservation up to 6pm on day of check-in. I didn't cancel, but with changing plans it was comforting to know I could.
Cons: It was a little noisy outside my room, the location of my room was near offices and I could hear staff and patrons at night.
There could be better outlets, or a charging area on the night stand, having more than one item to charge and use was challenging.
Pros: Couldn't beat it for the price. Clean and comfortable. It felt like home.

Pros: The room was very nice. The town is lovely. It has a lot of potential.
Cons: Our experience:
- Arrived around 10:20 on a Friday night (later than we had expected)
- No one at the facility when we arrived - everything locked; no one answered phone (repeated attempts); so we were stuck wandering the perimeter on a could dark winter night in february
- We walked around the facility knocking on doors and windows for about 15-20 minutes (it was 20 degrees)
- Finally someone happened to drive up (he was there for random maintenance) just as we were about to give up
- While the maintenance person went inside to make a call, we waited outside (for about 15 more minutes; recall ~20 degrees)
- Finally we were admitted and shown to our room
- Turns out the maintenance person was there to work on the water system; so no working shower (since we had been waiting outside in ~20 degree weather for a while it would have been nice to be able to take a warm shower)
- "MAKE SURE TO STOP BY THE FRONT DESK" on a piece of paper slid under our door; by front desk they mean the cash register of the hair salon
- we stopped by -- it was to make sure that they had our credit card on file (even though we had paid electronically beforehand)
- we suggested that they let customers know that it is impossible to get in touch with anyone from Solaire after a certain point in the evening (maybe this is posted somewhere, but it certainly wasn't obvious); or maybe someone could be "on call" for customers who have (paid in full) reservations who arrive a little later
- the response we got was very defensive: on the order of "it was the receptionist's fault; she was supposed to call you"
ok, that's fine, people make mistakes. there seems to a bigger issue with Solaire -- the Inn seems to serve as mostly ignored "add on" to the spa, salon and restaurant.
I've worked in the hospitality industry. I don't want this review to sound angry. My wife and i had a really great weekend overall (there's a great cooking school around the corner). We live fairly close and could imagine coming back to the town. its cute. But the Inn just doesn't seem to work as an Inn.
If you do give it a try -- maybe make sure to call a few times in advance to make sure they know you're coming and get a sense if they have any interest in customers' actual experience with the Inn.
The Inn at Solaire offers accommodations in Hudson. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. You will find a coffee machine in the room. All rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a bathtub or shower. Extras include bathrobes, free toiletries and a hairdryer. You will find a hairdresser's at the property. Cleveland is 22 miles from The Inn at Solaire, and Brooklyn is 20 miles away. Akron-Canton Regional Airport is 22 miles from the property.
Pros: The hotel staff upon arriving and eventually having to leave were exceptional and professional. They handled my complaints promptly. Very nice!!!
Cons: Want to be fair: I'm not sure if they had a warning that they were under construction and remodeling when booking. When we arrived, the chemical/glue/dust was overwhelming and we could not stay. The A/C unit in the room had mold on the grate.
Pros: I did not like it at all.
Cons: It was damp and dirty and chilly. The covering was peeling off of the walls. The bathroom walls were all messed up. The jacuzzi tub in the room was too filthy to use. Ditto the 'indoor pool' and 'spa'. Cleanliness was questionable throughout.
Pros: Desk staff was very friendly and willing to offer suggestions for nearby restaurants. The morning breakfast menu was exceptional and delicious. Room was clean and comfortable!
Cons: Temperature in the Whirlpool was several degrees hotter than it comfortably needed to be and the pool was a couple degrees cooler than was comfortable.
Pros: clean comfortable. ample parking. very good breakfast, both hot and cold
Pros: Friendly front desk staff
Cons: Needs a renovation desperately. Chlorine issue with having to leave pool area. Kids in distress from the chemical. Very frightening
Pros: Nice staff, comfy beds, good breakfast, right off the interstate.
Pros: Staff, great room cleaning and comfy beds
Pros: The workers very nice and helpful! Great customer service!
Cons: The whirlpool tub in my room could have been better cleaned!
Pros: Bed were super soft, and located close to a lot of good stuff
Cons: AC didn't work, Bath tub could have been better, room not as big for price paid/ expected.
Pros: Nice clean room with comfortable bed.
Cons: There were too many punks running around the hotel common areas making cacophonous sounds where security should have settled them down, sent them back to their rooms or kicked them out of the hotel. It was impossibly to sleep in this environment.
Pros: The rooms were updated and beautiful. All of the staff was helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: Maybe because of the holiday, I couldn't get a drainage problem with the tub resolved.
Cons: 'Sales pitches' and disception from staff....promised tings like ice box/microwave not supplied:(
Cons: Someone came to are room about 3am and try getting in . Said someone renter her our room.
Cons: The ceiling began leaking with a slow drip that quickly escalated to a heavy stream of water. We had to evacuate the room at 12:30-1 AM and were put in a room in the smoking section. I wanted a refund and they directed me to management, with no luck yet.
Pros: The pool for the kids... however they use too much chlorine... way too much... my eyes burned just sitting in there.
Cons: I booked online and then when I got there they charged me extra and stated that the tax must be different... It shouldn't matter when my print out stated what the final amount was...
Pros: The price was affordable
Cons: Didn't have computer like advertise
Pros: It is clean. Nice mood setting colors. Wifi. Cable. Could use a better view out the window besides a parking lot, like a pond.
Cons: The water pipes are loud and can hear people Next door. Room could be wider. That you pay extra for a microwave.
Pros: It was over booked so I got a smoking room
Cons: The smoking room because the hotel was over booked
Pros: Our room was remodeled.
Cons: The first room we were assigned was already used and they had to change our room.
Pros: Weed smoking can be smelled in hall Staff wakes you up at 3am and at 9am Worse place to stay general manager lies about things he says and about matching prices
Cons: Weed smoking and noise all night next door
Pros: The staff were very friendly.
Cons: Heat wasn't working in our room, we had to sleep with our jackets on. I found an underware left from previous guest. Overall, it was a terrible experience I wish doesn't happen again.
Cons: Dirty. They double charged me. I payed cash and the. I was charged again. The towels were brown although they were supposed t be white They were like dishrags.
Cons: Unknown brown stains on mattress extra bedding brought up stained and with burn holes refrigerator stopped working and leaked ac didn't work correctly bad smell in room internet didn't work took an hour for computer to work to check in
Pros: Location was perfect. They allowed pets. Other than that it was mediocre at best.
Cons: First room smelled so bad I changed rooms as soon as we opened the door. I don't think I have ever asked to change rooms before , it was so bad. The whole place had a bit of a moldy septic sort of smell, especially bathroom.
Pros: Room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. A.C. worked perfectly. Staff polite. Convenient to many stores, restaurants, and the interstate.
Pros: Location to a major highway.
Cons: The shower head didn't have much pressure, and the hot water in the shower was adjusted to a point where you barely had a warm shower.
Pros: The staff were truly wonderful! The complimentary breakfast was great, both days. The room was clean and comfortable! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cons: Cannot possibly think of one thing at this time.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Bathrooms needed to be redone
Pros: location. ease of access. cleanliness of room and building. quiet. spacious room.
Cons: breakfast was bad news...crowded eating area; tables for four only, with one long table against the wall. Seniors in the room had trouble moving the heavy chairs. traffic flow around food items was awkward.
Pros: Great location. Easy off the highway, close to restaurants and shops. Had a good breakfast and a friendly staff.
Cons: Smelly! They put us on the smoking floor and couldn't move us. Very strong, nasty odors. We went to a local store to buy candles to try to mask the smell. Also building was old and needed repairs. Lacked TLC.
Cons: pool too rough on feet no hot tub sauna was down fur on curtain dust on top of head bed
I would stay here again. The price is right the breakfast is good and easy access to Kent State
Pros: It had a nice breakfast and beds were comfy. Bathroom looked a little worn but great hot water and water pressure.
Cons: Tiles on floor of bathroom needed replace as they were cracked and moved- and light in there struggled when first turned on but overall clean and decent food and price.
The breakfast was amazing, the location was good. I would defiantly stay there again.
Pros: The staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: The drawers in our room kept sliding open. The sauna and game room were out of order.
DO NOT STAY!
Pros: Location is close to restaurants and easy drive to get where we needed to be.
Cons: Hotel was old, dirty, smelled, very smoky from cigarettes even in non-smoking room. Breakfast was horrible, even my kids didn't eat (and they love to eat)! Towels had lots small holes from being old too.
Cons: The bathroom wallpaper was coming down. The bathroom floor was dirty and had spots and also hair all over it. It looked like the started to clean it and then stopped. I can only imagine was the carpet was hiding. The whole place is in need of updating.
Cons: Shower head didn't work right. A/c unit barely worked. Dated interior and furniture. The free breakfast was weak.
But what do u expect for just under a $100. There are a few other hotels surrounding this one. I will probably try a different one if I stay in this area again .
Pros: We have been staying here for years when we come north to visit relatives. It is a very convenient location with knowlegeble staff and friendly maid service.
Cons: The hotel seemed to be understaffed at breakfast. They kept running out of food and coffee.
Mario's International Spas and Hotels is a great choice for a stay in Aurora. You can visit the spa to indulge in Thai massages, body wraps, or reflexology, and The Cabin serves Italian cuisine. A bar/lounge and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms offer jetted tubs and free WiFi.
Cons: Our room was moldy. Wet carpet and sheets. Mold spores on window. Had to move rooms after one evening.

Cons: We had dead bugs in our room

We also have select rooms featuring a refrigerator and microwave, ideal for longer stays, and there is no charge for kids through age 17 when accompanied by adults.
Cons: I have a bogus charge that I need to take the time to try to get off my credit card. I have no idea what it is and did not cause any damage.
Cons: Heater knob would not work, lights burned out, terrible check in experience tried to recharge and gave us the wrong room
Pros: Customer service was great!
Pros: It was close to the college campus.
Cons: Accomodations were less than desirable.
Pros: Good location. Easy to find.
Cons: Staff was not professional. We came back to our room one afternoon. A couple doors down a room door was open and it looked like the room had been vacated. We layed down for a nap. When we awoke and left for dinner over 4 hours later that same room was still open. Being a housekeeping manager myself I understood what a security risk this was so I went in the room, collected the keys and secures the door behind me. I went to the front desk and explained the situation and they looked at me like I was from another planet. No thank you or anything. It rather rude.
The housekeeping staff wasn't any better. The day we departed I was trying to take our belongings downstairs to load. The items were heavy and bulky. The housekeepers were cleaning the last room on the end and just so happen to be taking a break. I was forced to squeeze through between the cart and the wall even though they could've moved their cart down a few feet as they saw I was struggling to get by each time. When I was force to brush against the cart they gave me a look like how dare I touch the cart. I was also thrown a back by the fact that they decided to take their break and smoke right there by the room. None of them were professional at all. The clothing they had on was definitely not appropriate for work. Granted this is not a 4 star property, it's the small details that can take this property from a 1 star to a 3 star. It's the over all impression. Consider uniforms for your staff (even if it's black slacks (not jeans) all black shoes and a polo shirt). Same thing with your front desk staff. Black slacks and a white button down shirt WITH a name tag! No one seemed to have a name tag. Do not allow your front desk staff to eat at the desk in view of the guests. Make them stand to the back to do that. Also being on a cell phone is not professional either. They are there for the guest and to assist them not converse with whomever on the phone.
Pros: Easy to find next to highway
