Pros: Everything was absolutely fine
Pros: Very nice food and good location.
Pros: The rooms were spacious and everything was made of wood. Really beautiful and authentic. Breakfast was perfectly enjoyable and filling. The restaurant was right there and we didnt have to go to the centre to find a place to eat. Absolutely charming hotel and lovely staff. We booked this hotel 4 years ago but couldn't come up till now. This is the hotel I won't ever regret. I can only recommend it. Thank you for the lovely days we could spend here.

With a stay at Villa La Pierre in Strzegom, you'll be 11 mi (17.8 km) from Ksiaz Castle and 10.6 mi (17.1 km) from Jawor Church of Peace. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This hotel exceeded our expectations, it was so comfortable, really clean, quiet location, breakfast was amazing and staff were awesome. Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed across Europe this one was our favourite. We highly recommend staying at Villa La Pierre
Pros: Both the hotel and the grounds are very attractive - we particularly liked the outdoor seating area. The room was clean, spacious and comfy, with a large bed - good value for money, considering the size of the room/bed. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating - they went out of their way to assist us during our stay, particularly with securing taxis/transport, despite the language barrier (not much English spoken). Generous continental breakfast buffet, with excellent selection of meats, cheeses, pickles etc. Small bar area with a modest selection of beers and spirits - the beers could be selected from the fridge and then the receptionist would come over to serve and take payment of these (the bar otherwise seemed to be unmanned). Tasty Polish beers and reasonably priced.
Cons: No air conditioning in the bedrooms - this would have been much appreciated in the hot summer weather. There are large windows in the rooms that can be fully opened, however there are quite a lot of insects in the area, which then came into the room. No food available at the hotel after the breakfast buffet finishes. Not much around the hotel in the village of Strzegom by the way of food/drink (at least that was open on the public holiday that we stayed on). Small convenience store a few minutes' walk away and a pizza restaurant across the street - pizzas were very good though. We chose the hotel based on the proximity to the reception venue for our friends' wedding - location in Strzegom left a little to be desired. It also proved harder to get taxis than we had anticipated (again not helped by the public holiday) but the hotel staff assisted us with this as much as they could.
Cons: The heating was not working at all in the whole of the hotel. They gave us a small discount.
Pros: The free breakfast was fantastic.
Cons: The floor in the shower was very slippery.
Pros: An absolute gem hidden away. We were on a rally across Europe and returning home after it and used this as an overnight stop whilst heading across Poland.
Located in Walim, Gosciniec Nowa Wioska is within a 15-minute drive of Old Mine Science and Art Centre and Palmiarnia Walbrzych. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: kind & flexible service, kettle & mugs available at the landing, enough parking space, downstairs restaurant (though the size of soups was surprisingly small - more genuine starter type ;), room size & decor
Cons: generally, it was ok BUT.. ..the location of my room - it was in the main building and overlooked the backyard - windows and entrances to the other part of the property (that means other guests standing in front of the door smoking and talking) and the owner's home. also, it was above the kitchen so any conversations or movements from downstairs was easily picked up through an open window.
Pros: Everything amazingly clean good shower
Pros: Perfect getaway location, good breakfast, friendly staff
Cons: poor bed mattress, slow internet connection
Pros: Beautifully located, and tranquil. Great for kids, too. We enjoyed our stay and the dinners in the sunset a lot, to be recommended!
Pros: Nice situation Spacious room Good breakfast
Pros: Friendliness consideration and attention of the staff. Excellent breakfasts and evening meals. Location what we wanted, rural and quiet.
Cons: Very little interaction with other guests. This could be due to the time of year we visited. Had there been a bar or similar this may possibly have been avoided
Pros: Perfect: Clean; beautiful rooms, restaurant and hotel; the staff was really kind; food was really good.
ibis Styles Walbrzych is a modern 3 star hotel situated only 8 km from the Walbrzych Special Economic Zone, 10 km from the Ksiaz castle and 100 m from the Galeria Victoria shopping mall. The hotel has 130 comfortable and well-equipped rooms, a restaurant and a bar that is open 24 hours a day. All rooms have air conditioning, LCD TV with satellite TV and a bathroom with a shower and underfloor heating
Pros: The breakfast was really nice done
Cons: The bed was much too soft for my point of view
Pros: Bed was super comfortable Cleaning Check in was super fast
Cons: Breakfast can be improved
Pros: Everything was expectedly at good quality level. Not spectacular, not splendid, it was simply, useful and comfortable, in a business-manner. For which exactly I like Ibis hotels.
Cons: I do not know why for, but the sofa in my room has been made for sleep occupying almost all free space. In addition, I felt lack of a refrigerator and, slightly, a safe. It would be better if they were in rooms.
Pros: Nice staff mending the reception desk and the breakfast/bar area. Breakfast food was really good (many options and great taste) Location of the hotel is great (next to shopping center). Plenty of parking available in the shopping center. Bedroom was comfortable (nice size room, nice furniture, nice bathroom).
Cons: Not once did the cleaning staff take the time to clean the bathroom during my 5-night stay. Also, the carpet in my bedroom and in the hallway was dirty most of the time. Not sure if anyone is supposed to clean it?

Pros: very good breakfast. good location. nice helpful stuff.
Cons: kingsize bed combined out of two mattress, quite impossible to sleep together comfortably - big disappointment for a couple. bathroom could be slightly refreshed here and there.
Pros: Location was great. Near restaurants and stores and nice park, all within easy walk. Beds comfortable and lots of nice storage.
Cons: Price was more than quoted by booking, it was an estimate, but still not what was expected. Still good for money. IF I was prepared
Pros: Location, service, cleen, comfort. Room with balcony. Breakfast!!!
Cons: Small room, but no problem for 1 night.
Cons: Everything was really okay, the beds were quite soft.

The underground town of Osówka is 12 km away and Włodarz is 6 km from the guest house. The Grodno Castle is just 3 km from Chata nad Sztolnią.
Pros: Room and bathroom is very nice decorated Nice view from the window (trees)
Cons: There were some problems with hot water in the shower (water was rather tepid than hot) Aproach Road is not very comfortable
Pros: General room facilities that make you feel like home. Spacious bathroom. Tasty breakfast.
Cons: The place is called "over the old mine". It is tough to actually visit the mine, as it is partially flooded. Would be nice if the owners organized trips to visit this mine and offered necessary outfits :)
Pros: The place is located a little bit remote, however the area is very quiet (we were during the working days I do not know about weekends, because the organize wedding ceremonies as well) neighborhood is keep in very good shape. Excellent food! Big portions and typical Polish. The staff in the restaurant was quite busy they should have employed more waiters. The room was very clean and quiet. Overall opinion is very good and we have been very satisfied and with pleasure we will come back for excellent food.
Cons: no complains
Pros: The hotel is located not so far (by car) from Osówka and Zamek Książ
Cons: There was no cleaning during my stay. Ceilings are low and easy to hit with your head. No curtains on the windows which allows summer sun to heat the room.
Pros: Complete breakfast and great area with apple trees behind the apartment where we had our dinner.
Cons: Small apartment with a very small sleeping room. No real kitchen available. Host don‘t speak english.
Located 100 metres from the mineral water pump, Hotel Camelot is surrounded by the Szwedzki Park and offers classically appointed rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy a view of Szczawno Zdrój town. Each room at the Camelot includes a private bathroom with shower. There is a flat-screen TV and a safe for valuables. All rooms are accessible with a lift. The property features a restaurant offering regional and Polish cuisine. The lobby bar serves various drinks. Hotel Camelot has a 24-hour front desk service and is located 50 metres from the fitness centre Zdrój. The Wałbrzych Train Station is 3 km away. Free private parking is provided. The Wałbrzych Financial Zone is 6 km away.
Pros: Great clean rooms for a good price
Cons: central air conditioning system. No adjustable A/C in the rooms
Pros: Very good location , great breakfast
Pros: Very nice location, nice surroundings. Breakfast was tasty but if you wanted a warm breakfast such as eggs, bacon, crepes etc. was almost always out so you needed to ask the staff to bring some more. By 9am the crepes were all out :( The night time waitresses were very nice, friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The surprise drinks at the end of dinner was a very nice gesture. Thank you :) Big spacious parking lot.
Cons: The lighting in the hotel was absolutely awful, the corridors are pitch black, the lights are set on sensors but only go on after you actually step into that area and even then they were very low glow. It gave us a very uneasy feeling. The room and the bathroom had very low glow lighting as well. Putting on makeup was a killer :( Changing the lighting would give the place a much nicer atmosphere. At the moment it is depressing. No hand towels. Lack of soundproofing, we could hear people's conversations on the corridors, tv from an other room and someone' snoring during the night. Questions at time of booking were never answered by the hotel and the people at reception are very unwelcoming , they should take lessons from the waitresses who are much friendlier and smiling. We also received two twin beds instead of one large double even though we booked double. The rooms are very spacious but the furniture is very poorly placed. The sofa is blocking the desk, you can not watch tv from the sofa because it faces in a different direction than the tv, watching tv from the bed would be to far. The small fridge is under the desk but blocked by the sofa and the safe is placed on the top shelf of the wardrobe at a height of about 180cm, so for someone shorter than 175cm good luck in reaching up there.
Pros: Restaurant staff excellant, and food really good with an extensive menu
Cons: Having pre booked this hotel in Feb for 12 nights, to then be informed 1 day before we travelled the hotel could only accommodate us for 10 nights and we would have to move out with no named alternative and no real explanation for 48hrs. But on leaving after 10 nights, the hotel was still taking in new guests
Pros: Simple , clean and adequate
Cons: In such beautiful location I would have liked more luxury and comfort
Pros: Very good restaurant
Pros: Ample room, decent breakfast, nice hotel in general. Quite good sound isolation. Nice location to visit the area...
Cons: The room was a bit stiffly, so was the bathroom. Maybe due to the floor carpet. The beds were a bit soft, but that's personal opinion

Pros: Private air conditioning system in the room.
Pros: I was very satisfied, everything was good and nice: Staff, location, room, restaurant...
Pros: Spotless clean, nice rooms, tasty food, not expensive. Only 25km from Tesla-charger.
Pros: Food always plentiful and tasty; rooms are confortable
Cons: same menu for some years and in every season; even if it is generally good, I would provide some changes. no possibility to warm the bread at breakfast
Pros: Breakfest was perfect. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Single room was rather small... but acceptable
Hotel Zamkowy is housed in a historic building and located within the Książ Landscape Park, 6 km from the centre of Wałbrzych. It offers classical rooms with free internet and cable TV. All rooms at the Zamkowy come with standard furniture and a private bathroom with a shower. Some offer more living space and a seating area. Most rooms have a view of the Książ Castle. Hotel Zamkowy is situated on a slope, 2.5 km from Wałbrzych Szczawienko Railway Station. Private parking is available on site.
Pros: The castle is well worth a visit and, if you have time, the underground bunkers sound interesting. (Allow time to buy an entrance ticket ... they are incredibly slow!) Breakfast was good.
Cons: There are three hotels on the site and each has a restaurant but with a different name and in a separate location. Very confusing. I had a very ordinary dinner poorly served in the lowest restaurant. The curtains in room 5 need fixing.
Pros: Perfect location, great breakfast, nice room, very pleasant staff.
Cons: No hair dryer in bathroom
Cons: No elevator, to hard to work
Pros: Fantastic experience staying in and exploring a real castle. It's not just a place to stay the night. The facility offers weekend stay & play packages to the "College of Wizardry" for families with young would be Harry Potters. Adds to the fantasy of the place. Great balance between maintaining the historic ambiance, yet providing a level of comfort expected from a better hotel. SLEPT LIKE A KING!
Cons: Nothing that really stood out. Should have stayed more than one night to take in the surrounding attractions.

Pros: We stayed there one night with two kids and one word can describe this stay accurately: comfortable. It is super easy to stay there, it is clean, comfortable and the rooms are big. The included breakfast and the two restaurants are definitely reasons to stay there. The location is not in the city center but it takes only a few minutes by car or 15-20min by foot. Just across the street is a supermarket. We will definitely stay here again if we are around.
Pros: very big room. Big towel . The girl who was in the front deast very helpful .

There is a restaurant at Aqua Zdrój that offers breakfast and specialises in Polish cuisine. At Aqua Zdrój you will find a sauna complex, a water park and squash facilities. The property offers free parking.
Pros: The staff and the room was spacious.
Cons: The bathroom did smell a little bit, the showers could use a little shelf to place the shower gels during the wash and unfortunately the room was advertised with bathrobes and there wasn’t any in the room. Another nice thing they could do is add complimentary slippers so that guest don’t walk either in shoes or bare foot.
Pros: It was a very good experience and the staff was excellent!
Cons: Not very well organized parking space and signs for it.
Pros: A nice modern hotel with access to an impressive and inexpensive sport complex with a water park and fitness room (1 hour is included in price), open from 6 am to 10 pm. Easy and free parking. Quiet location in a nice suburb of Walbrzych, many tourist attractions. Breakfast until 11 am.
Cons: Thin walls. Cold scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Pros: This resort location is not at a attractive city, but facilities are good with swimming poop, slides, and sauna. Also table tennis and some other sports were available. However, it wasn't spectacular place, just value for the money if you have to choose an hotel near Walbzych or Szklarsk Poreba.

With a stay at Dworek Adamski in Walbrzych, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Ksiaz Castle and Palmiarnia Walbrzych. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff were amazing; helpful and friendly. They helped us book a restaurant (as they didn't speak English over the phone). Breakfast was a great spread with lots of food available. The hotel had a homely vibe and the guests gathered in the lobby and balcony to talk to one another. It reminded me of staying in a rural cottage with friendly neighbours.
Cons: Would have liked the room cleaned/fresh towels everyday. Also we would have appreciated a shower head to clip to the wall instead of having to hold it with one hand.
Pros: Nothing was to much trouble for the landlord. It looked like authentic polish building. Breakfast excellent value for money.
Cons: The shower hose was to short to hang on the hook so you had to hold the shower while in the bath and bathroom door on our room was very stiff.
Pros: Location- close to castle.
Cons: Tiny parking, wi-fi could be better.
Pros: Really friendly and helpful staff despite the language barrier. Huge breakfasts! Comfortable rooms and quirky decor.
Cons: The location wasn’t ideal but the staff were happy to order taxis and we had a hire car so no big deal really.
Pros: Very easy going owner, makes breakfast himself. The place is quite outstanding.
Pros: Nice furniture - some restored by owner. The bed seemed a bit of an antique too and was quite soft but acceptable. Good looking interior and a very tasty breakfast.
Cons: We didn't spot the entrance to the parking area initially. My Polish Wife went to the house to ask where to park our car and the owner was not welcoming but his attitude improved later.
Pros: Lovely big comfy bed, and varied and interesting breakfast

Cons: AC will be nice improvement in the future.
Pros: The room was clean and as described. The breakfast was excellent!
Pros: Pleasent staff, good breakfast, good location in the city, close to all the attractions.
Cons: No elevator, close to a main road; therefore, lots of noise from outside. Perhaps better windows would keep the noise down.

Pros: Newly restored place, everything is new and clean.
Pros: Clean room, nice and helpful staff- in general all was fine.
Cons: It would be nice to add electric kettle + cups. I though it is a standard- in mamy cheaper hotels you can find such „equpiment”. I was a little surprised that it’s missing there.
Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and a children's playground, Hotel "Księżyc" w Świebodzicach offers pet-friendly accommodation in Świebodzice, 3 km from Książ Castle. Free private parking is available on site. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. Wroclaw – Copernicus Airport is 49 km from the property.
Pros: I was visiting a nearby war museum so the hotel was well placed. The room was large with a double bed and en suite bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. TV and Wifi included and on-site parking. Breakfast was ok but didn't offer much choice for a veggie like me and a vegan would really struggle.
Cons: Whilst on my journey around Europe, I received an email before I arrived informing me that there were two parties booked at the hotel and they could be going on until 3AM, the room I was given on arrival was in close proximity to one of the parties which was very noisy. No kettle in the room.
Cons: nothing I could think of
Pros: I liked the atmosphere. Stuff was kind.
Cons: My bathroom was very smelly and only polish TV. The pasta in the restaurant wasnt good.

Some rooms have a garden view. Public parking is available nearby for a surcharge. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including hiking. The train station in Wałbrzych is 3 km away and the Dzikowiec ski lift is 10 km from Hotel Biała Sala.
Pros: There was no staff in the hotel which I found very weird and uncomfortable at the beginning. However all was good and our room was clean and well equipped.
Pros: The best value for money ever. Beautiful building, really nice decor and high quality furniture. The bathroom is spacious and super clean. Hassle free check in and check out. The view was stunning too. And the location best possible.
Cons: The only thing I (personally) didn't like was the mattress. Was slightly too soft to my liking, but I like very hard mattresses anyway.
Pros: Very modern hotel in nice central position
Cons: We had two rooms both with broken curtains and sadly nobody showed up to help us fix them. I’m also afraid four people won’t fit in the hotel’s quadruple room.
Pros: The location is great. Very pretty area to walk around. Building looks nice.
Cons: Very impersonal. No one in the lobby. Emailed me a code to the building and inside there was a mailbox with our keys in it. I expected someone there and a lobby like in a normal hotel since this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but it’s more like an apartment than a hotel. No elevator and our room was on the top floor. The stair are night and steep so going with lots of heavy luggage wasn’t fun. Room had small window on the side and bigger windows on the roof and no shades so you couldn’t sleep in. The walls are very thin so my parents were in the room next to us and I heard them walking around at night as well as them closing the door to their bathroom. Doors were very heavy and loud so whenever someone in the hotel was closing the door you could hear it. No phone in the room and since there is no lobby and no one that works in the hotel, you had to use your cell phone to call their sister property with was about 1 km away to ask questions or for any concerns. I was traveling with 2 daughters and booked the room for 3 but when I got to the room there was only 1 small double bed. Had to call their sister hotel and they brought another twin bed. How did they think we could all sleep in 1 bed is beyond me.
Pros: Lovely location, stylish classy rooms and interiors.
Cons: Bathroom needs some work, shower head passed its best, shower leaking into the room from the corner of the shower
Pros: Clean, new, a lot of space and comfy beds
Cons: No blinds on the roof windows
Pros: Luxurious, high quality, best price. Did not want to leave :) Cafes nearby, beautiful place.
Pros: Location was great, hotel very clean and good quality, Staff was helpful. we liked all about it.
Cons: the room for 3 was a bit small and there was 3 single beds rather then 2+1 but rather than this all was perfect.
A stay at Merkury Centrum Swidnica places you in the heart of Swidnica, within a 15-minute walk of Cathedral of St. Stanislaus and St. Wenceslaus and Swidnica Church of Peace. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice spacious room
Cons: Shower cabin very small
Pros: Great location and very good breakfast
Pros: Hotel itself has everything we needed for a short stay. We've been accomodated in a room for 4 people (travelling as a couple). Even though we didn't use the whole space available, it was really comfortable. Check-in was fast and easy, no issues there. Personnel was kind and helpful. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Additionally, there is a coffee and tea machine available 24/7 just next to reception (in actual eating room). Overall cleanliness was also ok. Location is perfect as it's straight in the centre of town, so there are restaurants and bars just few steps away, as well as the main attractions - all within walking distance. Good deal for the price.
Cons: There were some really minor issues we faced during our stay. First and the most inconvenient was the shower. It was so tiny (especially for such a big bathroom) that I could barely fit under or turn around. Additionally, it didn't seem stable (it made some strange noises when we moved and we're not that heavy!). Actually, it felt really "cheap" from our perspective. Second is that glasses available near 24/7 coffee machine didn't seem clean at all (and we've tried few). There were no miniatures of shower gel/shampoo avaiable. I am against since it's not environment friendly but someone may find them useful. Last thing that comes to my mind was the view - next building (it looked inhabited) was just a meter away from ours, connected by the roof or something. I'd rather say there was no view at all but for such a short stay it didn't matter to us as we didn't go there to stay in the room :)
Pros: Location is good
Cons: Room 21 with bad smell also I found insects on the bed and at bathroom I moved to room 31 I found fly insects
Pros: The hotel located just around the corner of Rynek. It is very convenient. The breakfast is superb. Central staircase with atmosphere.
Pros: Friendly staff and excellent location.
Pros: - Very central location - Friendly staff - Clean in the room - Stable hot water - Close to train station Fixing all the below (from negative part) could make it a really nice place to stay.
Cons: - The front door is always (to my sight) open, which means anyone can come in the property. While sometimes there’s no one at reception, like when I arrived. - The room locks with a key. Just a thin door and weak locker. No additional lockers inside the room. - Bad windows meaning you hear all street noises. And it was Friday night... - Very soft pillow. - No power sockets near the bed (only 2 near the window). - Elevator doesn’t work. - No phone in the room so if you need reception or its help, you have to go downstairs (which 90% of guests wouldn’t normally do). - And the last but not least important: soundproof. Maybe I wasn’t lucky with the neighbors, but from one side was a rap party with hysterical laugh and furniture moving, and from the other side...really no comments. Soundproof is something that is essential to make sure all guest can have normal rest and sleep. Keeping in mind the previous points and that there’s basically nowhere else to go, you just sit scared and quiet in the room till morning. I slept 4h in total, with light. And this was my birthday and a first trip to home town.
