The relaxation. Not too much activites.
The hotel is stunning with many infinity pools, nice beach with relaxing lounge beds. The garden has many level, so that you will have a beautiful view on the dead sea from every terrace service within the Thai restaurant needs to improve
The beds were sooo comfortable and the hotel was lovely... The fly's round the pool areas - nothing the hotel could do but it made an otherwise perfect stay a bit annoying!
Very beautiful hotel with friendly and helpfully staff . Different excellent pools. Comfortable and large room. Too much fly's. They are everywhere. – on the beach, in the pool restaurants.
swiming pools and the see the food
The pool areas, landscape and view of the Dead Sea. Interiors of hotel are first class. Not much varitey in avialable restaurants. Same program every night, therefore gets boring the second night.
Pricing are very high . Food & drinks
Sometimes it was difficult to get pool side service.
Amazing design and layout. Choice of 9 pools so could find a quiet spot. Cold fash towels handed round at midday was a nice touch and the spa facilities were superb. The beds and pillows in particular were fantastic. A fabulous stay and came away feeling pampered and totally relaxed. I would have liked the hotel to offer a shuttle bus service between this hotel and the Kempinshi in Amman. Only complaint is that the fridge wasn't cold but upside was that the beer and water was complimentary!
the buildings were beautiful, they have a very good italian resurant that u can have lunch and dinner at. the pools are good and the view is great. some part of the house keeping service was poor. al akkad resturant closes early!
Beautiful architecture and design. Very comfortable hotel, fantastic pools. Nice breakfast. The restaurant choice is not very impressive. The Italian restaurant was a bit of a disaster: welcoming waiter spoke very little English, and had no clue - he asked whether I wanted a red or white Pinot Grigio and knew nothing about the menu. 5 different waiters worked our table. The food came too quickly (microwaved??) and was not warm. The tables had too little light, which made it impossible to see what you were eating.
Atmospher with breath taking sarrounding, 400 meters below sea level. The hotel has excellent spa facilities and beautiful swimming pools. Lack of entertainment options.
Fantastic Service. Staff were great and gave free room upgrade
The Italian restaurant was very good, and the views from the one beach were wonderful. The check-in process was extremely slow and took almost 40 minutes despite the fact there was only one person in line in front of me. The hotel -- despite my having a confirmation with the correct dates -- had mis-entered my arrival and departure dates into their system. As a result, they almost didn't let my car into the gate given that I wasn't on the reservation list, and check-in took a long time. Several staff members also had something of a poor attitude, treating me as if I was bothering them by asking for directions. One individual, who was handing out towels, spoke to me very rudely -- insinuating I wasn't a guest there -- since it took me a minute to find my "get a towel" card. (The fact that they give one towel per person -- and that you need to carry around a card to get it -- is ludicrous if they claim to be more than a three-star hotel.) There were several other little issues that made the experience somewhat unpleasant. One was the inclusion of a large service charge on every bill. In addition, the hotel had no real shop -- except a souvenir shop -- thus requiring that guests pay exorbitant rates for everything from a bottle of water to a piece of bread. In addition, as a steak lover, I was angry that they had shut down the steakhouse for Ramadan, which hardly seems justified on any religious grounds given that they continued to serve alcohol. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was atrocious and minimalist with floppy waffles and not even an omelet bar. Really, it was a three-star breakfast equivalent to what you would expect at a Holiday Inn Express...which is a decent characterisation of the whole hotel with the exception of the wonderful location and view. Shape up.
Love the swiming pool , the dead sea it self , the hotel building was great. It was ok not what i exapt from a hotel like movenpick it was more of4 star hotel the bed was small, the room was coold no colors in it no touch of art.
Location is great and rooms are lovely. Liked the private pool in the deluxe section. Very poor service for such a price. Arrived at 3pm, could not get a room till 4.30. Asked for double bed, got 2 single beds. Obviously staff cannot cope when hotel is busy. Room was not even clean: full of sand from previous guests, bathroom with missing amenities. Can do better and is not worth the very high price.
An extremely comfortable, well designed and well appointed hotel. Attentive, helpful staff, generous attractive rooms. The bar and restaurant charges were unnecessarily high
Floating in the Dead Sea.Enjoying the well manicured gardens and beautiful pool areas. Service in the restaurants. The high levels of tax put on purchases.
Outstanding food Great setting and convenient if you want to see the sights. I would rec. staying hear and doing a day trip to Petra (go early). The Moevenpick in Petra is not quite up to spec. Ability to service guest requests E.G. extra towels, takes longer than expected, but this is a fairly large property, so be patient.
Nicely built rooms. The staff provided a complimentary upgrade of the room on check-in and a complimentary pizza. Excellent location and clean beach. It truly resembles an oasis in the desert. It took nearly 2 hours for the check in. Although the staff made up for this by providing a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room accompanied by a free pizza.
Relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable. I will definitely consider returning in few months.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed & pillows were comfy. There was mud provided for use in the dead sea. It was an amazing experience to swim/float in the dead sea. Breakfast was good. Food was average and not a good value. There were lots of flies around pools so it was not very relaxing to sit by the pool. We were told it was that time of year.
Poor service in the restaurants.
- boring, too old contingent
Great room, fine facilities. View of a building site, terrace next to a/c vent, therefore useless. Hotel staff's command of English was poor. Hotel uses spare roomkeys to make sure a/c in room is on all the time. Very environmentally unfriendly
Excellent hotel, wish we could have stayed longer!
Clean, good staff, nice pools and beach I think the prices are a bit high, and there is no many activites to do at night
Nice entrance hall, nice comfy beds balcony was not cleaned - dust covered most of the balcony, also my son dropped grape seeds it was in there the next day, cups used to make tea where not removed when the room made up the next day , room service menu descriptions did not match what was actually served . staff understanding of english was very limited . despite being a busy eid weekend - the spa was understaff
Good location & comfort
Excellent service, facilities, beach front, spa, breakfast. Would like to see more Jordanian staff rather than so many staff from other countries.
The dead sea is so close to our room
The service and staff. None
Do you like flies during your breakfast ?
This was a very nice hotel. new clean. different restaurants to choose from. Lots of different pools. Hot tub.. Great Bean bag bar closer to the beach. Breakfast was not included but room service breakfast was just fine. The beach area for Dead Sea floating was clean and not crowded with big tubs of the mud there for your own spa treatment. The only thing we did not like was the fact that they did not allow outside food or drinks into the hotel. We had purchased dutyfree. and hotle prices for drinks were not cheap. Trust me we did get around this Jordon rule eventually.
The location which is on the Dead Sea and the Pool facilities we liked the months. The resort is not at all value for money. Also they lack in service and food menu.
This place is unlike the hioliday inn that i know from other locations, it is very well appointed, very clever design to maximise the views and enjoyment for all. Being near new it was easy to relax. Overall a great experience - dead sea is a blast and from this location it is easy to enter and exit the water. The only down side was the availablity of food late morning - we missed breakfast and there is a long gap till till lunch. As we had checked out early room service was then not an option.
Everything bad no respect
Relaxing Boring - no atmosphere
Very nice location and inside architectural design. Hot springs. Nice bar and good restaurant. Nice staff although with sometimes understanding issues or not very long professional experience (just some details, but for the ones an hotel with long tradition and experienced staff makes the difference). Spa was closed but it was possible to have treatments in dedicated suites. One restaurant (Arabic senses) and one bar were under renovation whereas th Hotel seems recent. Internet was out of order during all the stay (3 days). Change rates were abnormally high; in comparison any bank or change Office seems to be a saint.
Location is fabulous. This is magic place to chill out for 3-5 days. Hotel fascilities are nice. Staff friendly and arrangements made proffessional and with care to the customer. I would consider hotel being a bit overpriced.
Ок! That's good!
Great service, accomodation, relaxing atmosphere. The whole experience was amazing.
Six Senses Spa Service level
Excellent services. Beautiful place. Friendly stuff.
It is a unique location. It is an eco-orieted project. Nicely designed and furnished. Friendly and cosy. Springs and spa are good. A lot of touristic itineraries (Dead Sea, Holy Land, PETRA!). Food could be more varied and gourmet (compare to oriental Six Senses resourts!). Pools could be cleaner, steps need reparing, steam bath cabin needs renovation.
The location The hotel decided that having a salsa dance party with live music for 200+ people from 7.30pm till 2am was not a conflict with a spa package which specified no mobiles. I went downstairs to complain the place was in uproar . To shut us up we were moved to level 8 a fabulous room but still no way to sleep. The facilities are not up to standard esp with what they charge
Evason Ma'in is an amazing place. We stayed there twice, once with a group of friends and once as a couple. Try the local wine and cheeses, and do ask the staff to plan a meal for you, they are very able. This is a place to go to relax, to pamper yourself and to experience the dead sea region with more personality, peace and individuality than the seashore resorts can offer. You won't be bored either, there are a host of activities to choose from and ideas of what to see. The hotel also arranges free excursions to the dead sea and some other locations. Countless options and a can-do attitude allow you to tailor your stay to be all you want. Recommended with all our hearts! The restaurant options could have been explained more clearly in the information booklet in the room. However, the staff was very helpful when we asked for clarification.
I think they should shutdown the unrenovated side as it is quite rundown. Also, the cleanliness need to be imroved. The water slides for the kids is wonderful, but the water in the pools is freezing. (turn off the chillers)
poor customer service, staff don't speak english very well. simple enquiries like please bring the towels to the room took 1 hour after calling reception and room service 5 times. loud music during evening. however location was amazing.
went in the dead sea and had mud bath the toilets were disgustingly filthy. The room had a broken shower, a water leek in the bathroom. My boyfriend and I got food poisoning from the buffet dinner. I couldn't sleep due to the disco outside my room as there was no soundproof.
We were upgraded to a better class room. The quality and spread of breakfast and dinner was excellent. The easy access to Dead Sea for the hotel guests made the stay a wonderful experience. Additionally, the availability of 'free' Dead Sea mud and showers made it even better. The check-in staff seemed overwhelmed as there was a group checking-in when we reached.
good breakfast and easy access to the beach. there were no restaurants other than the place where you have breakfast, and it offered just buffet dinner.
Relax. Service is very bad, but compare that this hotel cheapest in the area - was ok. As Movenpick you would pay at least 4times more! [We paid 500usd for 3nights when Movenpick and Kempinski was 2200usd!] Rooms were spacious, newly decorated, had everything we need it. Exelent for kids as they love to use pools with slides. Every night we had entertainment, bar open and serves alcol all day! Internet free at the lobby and pool nearby.. So what else would you need??? 1.Service.. People just very ignorant.. But we went to Movenpick and they were the same! So not much you can do unless you train them better :) 2. Choice of restaurants but again - you can walk to hotels nearby and get same meal for 4times much of the price we paid in Dead sea spa! [Dead sea for 3 people buffet we paid 60usd and in Movenpick for ala carte meal - 300usd ] so -its your choice after all :)
laundry service was fantastic. they were quick and even repaired a pair of pants.
Breakfast Rooms at the New Building Rooms of old building
it's location, view bad smell next to my room seemed like sewerage
We were close to the pools and beach. The fact that we could sit outside was absolutely marvelous. When we arrived, reception did not have a booking for us even though i did take my printout with me.
This very new hotel is very well located at a walking distance from the church with the Palestine mosaic. It is very clean, well equipped (including wifi) and the staff very helpful and the breakfast very good.
Great place to stay if you're visiting Madaba, walking distance to all attractions in town - 5 minutes to St. George Church. The room is clean, nicely equiped with plenty of helpful staff around to assist when needed. Rooms facing the main street could be quite noisy, but the room I stayed in has double glass window so it has never been a problem.
Near to tourist sites and souvenir shops. Location was great. Breakfast was so so.
Excellent staff, very good rooms! This is the best hotel in Madaba.
This is not a fancy hotel and a little worn but the staff are very friendly and seemed very safe. You can't expect too much for the price they charge. The hotel was clean the breakfast was decent and they had free internet. If you are looking for a luxury hotel then this is not the place but if you want a decent room with friendly staff and a good price then this is a good opportunity. The one thing I did have trouble with was locating it. Their directions are acurate if you come into town one direction but it didn't seem to be the way I came in to town from the airport but it was at night so I could have messed up. Basically the hotel is very close to the St George church, probably less than a KM away, I believe towards Amman.
The mosaıc hotel was excellent especıally for the prıce. The owners speak Englısh and were very helpful. The room was great and clean and the breakfast ample and very good. ıf we go back to jordan we wıll certaınly stay here agaın.
Breakfast was poor
The room was very nice and the staff were great no complaints....
The staff was were friendly, the rooms were nice and clean, the hotel is easy to find
Welcoming nature of owners, maps provided with key attractions, restaurants recommended, large room, good size bathroom, free parking. Location of dining room, whic is not often used for dinner, but on request only, in this instance meant that a noisy party kept us awake a bit longer as the bedroom door is somewhat shorter at the bottom than the door frame.
Awesome price/quality rate. Comfort ambience. Nice food and drinks menu. Friendly personal. Extremely educated guide, who is the owner of this hotel. The hotel is located in a few steps to all the important sites of Madaba. Специально для русских - владелец отеля сертифицированный русскоговорящий гид, отлично знающий историю и культуру Иордании. Отель отличный, чисто, бюджетно, хорошая еда, есть алкоголь. None
