Cons: The staff was disorganized and dishonest. Pros: Pros: nice, large functional rooms (family rooms had an extra half bath). Food was very good even though a bit repetitive. The public areas were beautiful and clean. Entertainment team was great. Lots of activities. Plenty of shuttles into town.
Cons: 150 dirham deposit per towel required. Service at meals was spotty.
Nestling in the shade of the silver olive tree groves, overlooking the breath taking Atlas Mountains, the KENZI CLUB AGDAL MEDINA is encrusted like a precious jewel in a ten hectors setting, to combine a full range of leisure activities with the best in contemporary design, with the prestigious KENZI CLUB AGDAL MEDINA.
Pros: Rooms and grounds were lovely. Very clean and a beautiful pool.
Cons: Staff have no customer service skills. When we asked for things, they were never brought to us. Items are added to our bill that I never ordered and they made me argue for a half hour to prove it wasn't us. Service at meals is very slow and often non existent (we had to often get our own coffee despite asking multiple wait staff).
Pros: The hotel itself was beautifully decorated with large guest rooms and opulent decor that made it feel you were staying at an exclusive boutique hotel.
Cons: While the staff were all friendly, the level of customer service left a lot to be desired and did not match the appearance of the hotel. Thankfully, it was not that busy at the hotel as I do not believe the staff are well enough trained to handle a full house. The staff do not know how to anticipate guests' needs as you would expect at similar resorts, and simple requests like additional blankets for the room do not get fulfilled without multiple follow ups.
The KENZI MENARA PALACE is a priceless jewel set in the crown of the privileged and World Class location: the ochre, legendary resort of Marrakesh, located right opposite the original ramparts, ancient walls which surrounded this unique, timeless oasis, whilst facing the splendid, manicured lawns, greenery and citrus groves of the Agdal Royal Gardens, shaded in the dappled sunlight, a joy to behold. The kenzi Menara Palace offers mineral water, tea and coffee in the room The pool is heated around 23 degrees in winter
Pros: This time I stayed in Essaadi hotel, not the palace, for four night in March and i found it very good as always because i satay in this hotel when ever i visit Marrackech but i also stay in other hotels in the city. The location of Essaadi is very good if you do not like isolation from the city actions. The best in Essaadi, in my opinion, is the walk path that connect the hotel to the palace its more than 700 m long full of varieties of citrus, palm, olive, pomegranate trees. I usually take a walk on the path, in the morning before breakfast where the smell of orange blossom fill the srrounding. Breakfast improved a lot with many varieties and good preparation. Staff were very friendly and happy to help but need appreciation. Restaurant , i tried grilled seabass For dinner and it was very good but slow service though. I found The pool was heated to 26 degrees although i did not use. Room was always cleaned and prepared well and when i asked for some roses in a vase it was put in my room without extra cost. A basket of fruit was in the room when i checked in. The hotel was happy to keep my luggage for couple of days when i travelled away from the city. The new manager is always walking around and talking to the guests.
Its good value for money as four star hotel, and i would look forward to stay in this hotel in near future.
Cons: Wifi is little slow, rug in the room looks old. No tea or coffee machine in room, apparenty in my recent travel this service is no longer availble in hotel in Marrakech.
