Good beds, quiet, nice swimmingpool and beautiful beach with facilities in front of the hotel (private beach) Ridiculous that you have to pay almost € 30 to be able to use the internet during 24 hours which meanwhile is even slow...
hammocks in the yard room was smaller then i expected. also had to change the room after check-in since i was ordering kingsize bed but reception gave me twin.
beach and swimming pools I didnt like restaurants, rooms but they changed after lot of discussions
The staff were very friendly and helpful on all matters; Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool and surrounding facilities were exceptionally comfortable and the location was beautiful. Highly recommended.
Layout and the territory Substandard service for a five star hotel. The guests are charged for absolutely everything and these charges are unreasonable. The SPA facilities and the service are appalling and much overpriced. This is the first 5 star hotel we stayed in where we were charged £20 for a basic finish sauna and where used water from the pedicure was brought into visitors’ changing rooms and flushed down the sinks in front of you!! Overall it is a pretty hotel with beautiful views of the ocean, however it is very poorly run and for the same money you will have a better experience elsewhere.
lovely staff, very polite. rooms were very clean and the pool area was beautiful
Pleasant and helpfull Staff, Easy to Relax around the hotel, pool, garden and the beech area, Food was expensive therefore we would eat out.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful - even more so than the pictures indicate! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, services were fantastic, and location was very good. There were a couple of time periods during the day when its difficult to get anything to eat (even a small snack) - with young children this was a little difficult. Perhaps having a few more snack items for sale in the gift shop would help. Also, as this area of Agadir is still being built the hotel was a little far from any other shops (although, admittedly, that is also part of the appeal)!
The outdoor facilities were excellent, really friendly and helpful staff, the rooms might need a bit of updating to equal standard with the hotel facilities (E.G. swimming pool, beach, restaurants) As mentioned above, the rooms weren't as great as the rest of the hotel.
From my POV, the territory is the best what this hotel has - very stylish, plenty of space, several swimming pools. Taking into account that this is some sort of business hotel, there are not many people during the day outside, while in the evening the hotel has very lively atmosphere. Please those who wants to book standard room - be aware that it overlooks whether constraction or the other hotel (window-to window). And only the most expensive rooms have the balcony. The other shortcoming - that it took very long time for stuff on reception to response to our simple requests - very often they just ignore us (obviously - not the level of the luxury hotel)
helpful & pleasant staff, ideally located in Agadir, lovely hotel while hotel is 5 star the rooms were 3 star, bathroom tiles could be updated
Nice welcome. Huge hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Very large swimming-pool. Casino, restaurants, live music, night club. Wireless internet.
Spa facilities and staff Rooms were very basic and did not live up to rest of hotel facilities. Over priced throughout, eg 3.50 Euro for a can of coke?
The pool and the spa was very relaxing and that is where we spent most of our time. Took us 1hr to get a room after being changed twice. The maintenance of the hotel is very poor. I would not give it a 5 star rating.
We were treated like a king and a queen. The staff were amazing The room was a little outdated, but that did not take from our enjoyment.
The rooms were spacious comfortable. Staff were helpful and service excellent. I've stayed many times in Agadir, each time at different hotels but this is the hotel I will return to on my next visit. The only down side to the hotel is the lack of outdoor breakfast tables. Taking a holiday in Agadir where the sun shines from early morning it would be a novelty and advantage for those from less sunny climes to enjoy breakfast outdoors on holiday.
The garden view . 1.The bussines center there are only 3 computers and it always full with kides . 2.when we check in the beds were used and not clean . 3. the room servicse dosnot work after 10 pm and thay charege you 295 DHM for every room service . 4. there are no inaf parking . there is no wireless in the rooms . 5. the staff are not kindy and is talking to much .
Pool is big. Staff was incredibly rude. From room service to check out. Very ignorant and disrespectful. Waiters at restaurant have zero knowledge. Food was bad and all three times they tried to over charge us. When we corrected them they got mad, as if we were mean or stupid for wanting to pay the price on the menu. Watch out for "city tax" 20euros more than hotels.com said I should have to pay.
This is my 3rd visit to this hotel this year. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Staff are freindly and not intrusive. Hotel and pool are well kept.l Flies are a problem in the pool area, but this is Agadir in general, except for the beach environs. A fridge would have been useful.
Big enough room, bed is pretty good. breakfast is okay. Ok first of all, there is no wi-fi, the hotel desk told me there is in the lobby, in fact I think there is only wifi in the management office with a 2 meters range. So unless I stand right by the door of the manager's office, I get no wi-fi. When I try to exchange some money to pay for the hotel, they didn't give me the rate of what's on the board, they just randomly gave me a rate which is quite low. And the location is so not close to the beach at all. Not recommended
clean and comfortable rooms and had a great view of the mountains It is a distance from the resturants (40 min walk) and at the moment there is lots of building work going on (this didn't affect us at all). I'd advise getting a taxi back as it's a little dark! The beach is about a 30 min walk if you do this as the crow flies which also means a trek across wasteland. Will be great once the lots are finished
Fortunately only stayed there for one night. Comparable to cheap resorts in Salou and/or cheap Turkish all in resorts. Don't go there if you don't like: ants all over the room, terrible/old breakfast, karaoke/loud music during the evening/night, no comfort at all
Staff sencitiviness 1. Location. It is 5 kilometers far of comfortable beach. The district is very bad: a lot of buildings under construction, no any restaurants - only "mini-market" shops in the hotels around which dont have common things as bread, women's hygienic goods etc. There are half emty shelfs with goods having long term shelf-life (e.g. crackers, wide range of tinned food).
Liked it, the hotel was great for that price! Flys near the swimming Pool.
I have stayed at the hotel on 4 occasions since february 2010. There are less expensive hotels available in this category but the facilities are better at the Intouriste. Staff are only too happy to help. The area around the hotel is under construction and litter is visible on the waste land.
The aspect of the hotel that stood out for us was the service from the staff. Particularly the reception staff. They were very helpful and helped in anyway they could and also spoke very good english. A few minor things like we had a patio table but no chairs we however borrowed chairs from our friends room. For more constructive feedback we felt that Residence Intouriste Hotel was very clean and well presented however compared to the hotels we had previously stayed at in morocco our hotel room in particular lacked character.
Friendly staff and helpful in guiding us in queries to take buses to Marrakech. Location possibly was not the best.
Staff all very friendly and helpful. Rooms lovely and spacious with nice pool and not far from other attractions in Agadir. Recommended and will stay again!
Really large(!) room with see view, clean swimming-pool, nice staff, calm place for relaxing... The window of our bedroom was on the terrace...not good for our safety. Wi-fi is only in public places (not in the room)...but general feeling was OK.
The comfort: the apartments are quite large and well furnished. They serve no wine, no beer and whatever alcolic drink neither
lucation & the suits sayeis the tv chinals
I like bedrooms number 408 4th floor and niceentrance pretty swiming pool although is not indoor ther havent Bar, no Alcohol and cooking is very low standar spcialy pasta is awfull and expensive for they offer , not taste at all . plus minisupermarket doesnt open early
There was musty smell in the room most likely due to mold. Otherwise fine.
The Hotel was a very suitable for us. Our room was very large with see-view. This hotel was not expensive, but it was very clean and cozy. The city center is pretty far away, but it's cheap to take a taxi. There was a nice pizzeria in the hotel. The way to the beach was very short. They didn't serve beer or wine anywhere.
Large appartment with practical lay-out. Nice swimming pool in the backyard. 5 Minutes walk from the beach.
The front desk needs to be more serviceminded and welcoming.
The Staff are excellent very helpful especially the reception staff, pizzeria downstairs and supermarket, nice pool.
big apartment with lots of space, balcony.Ours could fit 4 people. very good value for money, nice swimming pool and close to the beach.has all you need. no complaints
huge spacious apartment no information in apartment ie room servce. pool not heated
The different activities for kids. The quality and shape of the equipment like TV not working, leaks at the toilet, etc..
As a last moment booking, we opted for this so called 4 stars hotel due to non availability in Sofitel Agadir or any others and it's location was near the beach Well few points to sum up the hotel services: -Any complaints were met with indifference from the management. - The room was adequate but nothing exceptional and was not cleaned to a satisfactory standard, room’s decor was straight out of a 1970’s & a shocking look for the 21st century (Almost broke my bones when falling from a broken chair. - The staff lack enthusiasm and generally failed to show any initiative. - The service in the restaurants was of a poor standard but overpriced and the restaurants were always empty and lacking any energy or life. - The pool area is fine but a little cramped without much thought to design. The waiting staff around the pool area were very slow and it always took ages to order food and drinks.
Nice view onthe top of the hotel on all Agadir They charged me duble by mistake ....so low when its come to resuld any problem ...no manager on duty
The cleaners were more helpful than reception staff if you needed anything. Bar and entertainment staff were very good too so it made for an enjoyable stay. Couldn't get much help from reception and it didnt help that they didnt speak much english either. They checked us in to a dirty apartment after making us wait 3 hours in reception and not even speaking and explaining what was going on. Our apartment was facing a very busy high street so we asked to be moved and were completely ignored. Finally after requesting a move again we were shown an apartment that was smaller and facing the same noisy road!!
the nois in the hotel shoud be less and the food smell should found away to make it less
The room was huge and had a balcony.Excellent value for money You had to pay extra for the safe. The tv reception went when it rained, that is after all when you want the tv
Great location, very reasonable rates. Great pool and entertainment for kids. Rooms dated but otherwise comfortable and clean
Nothing, its very expensive and does not deserve its four stars. its not even a 3 stars. the rooms are very old, AC not working, durty carpet, price, poor breakfast....its a good 2 stars but not a 4 stars at all.
Tennis, live music, the view. Very n asty and rude reception-staff. OK security and excellently kind tennis-staff.
Nice 4* hotel. Only stayed B&B. Food was very nice. Great selection. Fairly big room. Biggest bed I've ever seen. It must have been over 8 feet wide ! comfy as well. Well equipped gym with good range of free weights and machines.
Good hotel for family holiday. Good location near beach, shopping and restaurants. Booking.com indicate this is a 4* hotel - its more like a 3*. Rooms is a bit worn out and the hotel could generally use a touch-up if it wants to be 4*.
the recpetion desk staff were absolutely appaling the staff
Central. Friendly staff. Clean. Over-priced slow internet - a major turn-off when 20,000 kilometres from home and needing to keep up with business. Therefore, next question would be "No" if the recommendation was for those in need of good internet
Very convenient for relaxing. My room were quit good, old TV, and old furniture. It worth's the money. The exhaust toilet fan were not working, and they did not repair it even after we told the hotel staff.
The location was great and the pool area was relaxing and enjoyable. The room was clean and the service was good. The breakfast was also a great value and we appreciated the selection. The massage was terrible. They had no idea what they were doing. The good news is that the manager graciously gave us back 50% of the cost. The entertainment was average in the evening.
My 7th visit, the staff are like family to me and cannot do enough for me.They know of my charity work for Agadir orphans and show that they hold me and my wife in very high regard.I would never stay in any other hotel Nothing at all.
Good quallity price ratio near the beach and the centre of the town.
Very good location There is not free internet in public areas of the hotel as it is written in the description of the hotel here at Booking.com
The hotel's proximity to the beach. Pretty much everything about the hotel was very disappointing. Our room (room 534) smelled like urine during the whole stay, the room conditions were dreadful (old rugs, worn-out blankets, broken fixtures...etc.), we didn't have any hot water in rooms 534 (the first day) and 322 (the third day), room 322 totally lost tv and phone signals on day 3 (we had to call the reception 4 times to get it fixed), the line for breakfast was always very disorganized. The building is old and doesn't have any elevators, which can be a big problem if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The rooms are way over-priced considering the quality of service. This hotel is definitely not a 4-star hotel... Honestly, I wouldn't even give it a 3!!
Nothing in particular. The location is very far from Agadir and the beach on a construction site. The living room is cramped and ugly, the kitchen tiny and dirty, the parking possiblities on the street in front of the hotel are rather limited. Beware: the coordinates given on the Booking website are entirely wrong (about 2.5 km off).
A lovely new complex which can only get better. Clean, friendly and with excellent rooms the apartments are well fitted and a pleasure to stay in. Well recommended. Brand new at present it is due to open a bakery/shop and cafe/snack bar in the near future, both of which are sorely missed. There will not be a bar. Wifi doesn't work with smart phones. Pool shut at 4pm during Ramadan. 20 minute walk into town or grab a cheap taxi but there aren't many passing as yet.
the relaxed athmosphere, proximity to the beach, friendly staff, free WiFi
Cannot think of anything in particular, balcony was nice but too small to sit on, Pool looked nice, fairly quiet room as at back, bedroom nice, 5Mins or so to beach Hotel in general was a bit strange, breakfast ok but Very basic, staff at reception unfriendly. Room could be cleaner, shower curtain etc, bathroom was old
Staff very friendly, very clean, nice big modern rooms. Breakfast was possibly the best ive had outside of a European 4* hotel. You can walk to the restaurant area in 20 minutes or take a taxi for a euro or 2, otherwise nothing really near the hotel. There is construction site next door unfortunately which will likely lose the hotel business
people very welcome some builder work next to the hotel
As opposed to the big hotels at the beach of Agadir, we liked Timoulay as a small, quiet but still comfortable hotel; the rooms are wide and clean, the food excellent; pool area is not overcrowded and the spa relaxing.
The cleanliness & arrangements
Very nice personnel. They do everything to make your stay better. They made us feel part of the family. We even got a bigger, more expensive room, because they thought it would be nicer for us with our baby. Hele aardige mensen. Ze deden alles om het ons zo prettig mogelijk te maken. We kregen zelfs ongevraagd een grotere, duurdere kamer, omdat we met onze baby reisden en zij de andere kamer te krapjes vonden. nothing
