Roppongi isn’t an area I’d necessarily recommend in and of itself. There is a fantastic restaurant - Joumon/Jomon - just down the road that we went to twice. Get the scotch egg thing! The hotel itself is really lovely, but we ended up just travelling to other areas. Depends if you’re willing to stay somewhere nicer further out, or if you want to stay in shinjuku in a less nice place
- modern clean rooms - close to Roppongi metro station - nice Onsen on the rooftop
- we had a nice balcony but no furniture on it would be nice to have some chairs and a table there
We touched down early in the airport and was allowed to check in early with breakfast! Absolutely love the services from lobby. We love the SkySpa open 3pm - 11am (next day). There is washing machine at about 500 yen per wash with dryer. The location is near to Subway (Hibiya line and Oedo line). National Art Centre is just 10 mins walk away.
We loves most things and we would definitely come back in future. If I really have to point it out, probably it's the TV Programmes. There are paid movie programmes but I would rather stay on my Netflix.
Very welcoming, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast - great selection of both Japanese and Western options. Traditional Japanese bath a lovely way to relax at end of day.
Small room. No wardrobe so you have to leave your clothes in the suitcase
Large cities have lots to do and there are plenty of great locations, but in a city like Tokyo, hotel location is everything. Many travelers from outside of Japan marvel at this amazing city, and Candeo Hotels Tokyo Rappongi’s location right in the heart of the Japanese capital ensures that whether you are there for business or leisure, Japanese culture is just a few steps outside the hotel’s front door.
The Candeo Hotels Tokyo Rappongi is less than two years old and has acquired a well-regarded reputation for high-class service. The first thing folks notice is the multilingual staff. This is important because many folks travel from far off places, so you have the comfort of someone who speaks your language. Once you check in, the first thing you notice about the room is the floor to ceiling window. The view of Tokyo from your room is spectacular. The décor has the modern touch of clean lines, so you will feel right away that you are in a luxurious space.
The breakfast at the hotel is outstanding and contains traditional Japanese elements along with breakfast foods that are more familiar to Americans and Europeans. There is also dry-cleaning service and laundry service available as well. These are just more examples of how the hotel goes out of its way to provide top service to guests.
A trip to Japan is a must for everyone’s bucket list. When you stay at the Candeo Hotels Tokyo Rappongi, you are getting some of the best hospitality in all of Japan.
