This hostel is small and only can house a few people. It has a single shower and toilet and one main room for eating and cooking. But the charm of it is that it is very personable. The owner and his staff speaks English, and very friendly. They are often on site, and hang out with the guests. It feels like living in a home more than being in a hostel. I don’t know Japanese well, and had problems with my Japanese bank, and one of the staff sat with me for an hour after I was supposed to check out and translated for me and talked to the bank. Just one example of them going above and beyond for guests. There is one female room and one mixed room. Great place if you enjoy meeting others and learning Japanese.
They do not provide towels-or at least I don’t remember receiving one. I may have declined because I brought my own.
Free drink, breakfast, friendly host and stuff!
Friendly staff- very helpful and good command of English. It's a cozy hostel so you feel very comfortable. It's very clean and very good price! It was a great stay!! Laundry for a very good price! This hotel is a very good option for solo travellers and well connected with Shibuya, HaraJuku, Shinkuju, Yoyogi. Gotanda station (10min walk from the hostel) is in Yamanote line. You will take this line to go to all the cool neighborhoods ;)
I can't really think about anything I dislike..
Everything was amazing. It included free breakfast and ice-cream. The host was very friendly and kind, and you could see he cared for every single detail on the place. It was very clean and cozy.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Very clean and friendly staff :) 2 bikes at free disposal :) Free breakfast :) A bit remote for the train station Small common room - very small space for shower (no private sink to brush teeth, it's next to the kitchen area in the common room) Very small shared dorms (no room for storage)
