Location! We could safely walk to the Eaton Centre in less than 30 minutes. Staff were very helpful. Parking was available for a nominal fee (no small feat for downtown Toronto!) Room has bar fridge and microwave. Room was clean and bed was fairly comfortable (after we asked for and received more pillows).
The room was small with well-used furniture. It’s fine if all you need is a place to shower and a leep but, with only one “easy chair” and a small tv (mounted high on the wall and not able to tilt or adjust for a better viewing angle), it wasn’t a comfortable space for my wife and I to spend time and relax in. It was challenging to manage the tap/temperature for the shower.
Friendly staff I liked the convience of the area the house was quiet decent sized room that included a living room area it was clean and the building was maintained as well
There were a few things that made it a bit frustrating, for instance the toilet was jammed in a corner.. almost impossible to sit on. When we were using the tv the channels kept going out of service, sometimes a half hour or so at a time. It got cold at night too. The parking spot I had was extremely tight as well.
The staff was very welcoming and they provided everything I asked for even if it wasn’t included in the room ( like utensils and A kettle ) The room and the toilet were very clean.
It is my second time staying at Ada's, it is definitely an excellent option to stay in Toronto. The facilities are clean and comfortable, good wifi if you need to work. They also helped us with the parking
I think you get a fair value for the price, can't complain really
No breakfast, And as we were leaving for an early morning appointment we didn't spend much time.
We knew it was small, but were surprised how small. Also would have been good to know how many stairs we needed to climb as my husband has mobility issues.
