One block from the beach, nice pool, nice staff, relaxed vibe. Great showers- lots of hot water and Water pressure. Beds comfortable. Rooms were quiet even with people playing music at the pool a few yards away. Located on a Main Street at the southern end of the beach next to restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops.
We were there in May during an off or slow week. There were lots of signs posted about drinking so I expect if you were here when it’s more crowded there might be more people here just to party. In the off season it was great with kids and we had a great time.
Close to the beach and all the restaurants.
The water was off on day two. Major inconvenience.
Location
We arrived at night and it was hard to find. There was no parking and they suggested we go down the street and cross a main ride and park at their other Property. The room smelled full ny and the floor was covered with sand. The towels were tiny and not very soft. Other guest were loud and smoked a lot. Pool really needs a paint job. We were only scheduled for one night. I will not return here.
The people who cleaned the rooms were fantastic. The guy at the front desk was not so good. He failed to tell us that there was only a "Down" button on the elevator. We had no idea how the elevator worked.
The room was clean and nice. The steps up to 2nd and 3rd floor were awful. It looks like they haven't been swept in years. I wanted to get a broom and sweep them myself. As in most hotels, the rooms were kept nice and clean, but outside the rooms (halls, stairways, parking) was dirty and grungy. Lots of construction junk was strewn around. Desk staff was NOT professional.
Not clean at all and needs more lighting. The pillow top matress in our room was flipped upside down because of the condition of the top part of the matress so we slept on the very uncomfortable bottom side. The location was perfect but the room was so very gross.
Close to the beach, clean rooms, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. A prime spot for the young party-goer looking for beach-side activities. Wet Willies, located on-property, serves up amazing frozen daiquiri's. Sunrise Diner, around the corner, is the place for breakfast! Amazing omelettes and breakfast buffet on the cheap!
Noisy! Hotel was undergoing renovations -- tile cutters running until 10:30pm. Thin walls and noisy neighbors can also be a problem. Parking is horrible with limited space. Hotel crams 3 vehicles into a parking stall, causing potential damage to everyone's vehicles. Not good if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet place to stay. Be weary about eating at Lighthouse Pizza located directly across...Read more
Black mold in the shower, room reeked of cigarettes, other guests were extremely loud, the lock on the door was broken.
I like the decoration of the room. I loved the location! The staff were nice and I enjoyed my birthday there. Would love to come back.
The parking is horrible. The spaces are way to close together.
I liked the location and the bed was very comfy and the shower was nice
The fire alarm went off at 2 am and then intermittently throughout the night. The pool was right outside our door and people were not courteous of pool hours and were very loud. The staff was always not very friendly and had poor customer service skills. And I absolutely hated the parking situation.
Staff was nice, but they were renovating the entire area. Only plus was location being right next to the beach, and having an air conditioned room to sleep in at night. Ok if you plan on being out all day.
Room was in poor condition and not very clean looking. There were holes in the walls, the bathroom door was completely splintered at the bottom. No available hair blow dryer in the room. Parking was not the best, spots were super tight and someone scratched my car opening their door.
