Staff was great! The AC in our room was not working so at 1130pm they credited, upgraded and moved us to another room without hesitation.
Great place. Ski in ski out. Good breakfast.
Beautiful Vail getaway
Pros: Friendly staff Fine dining Great coffee shop Excellent rooms Beautiful river and views
Cons: Very expensive Overcharged me on facility fee Facility fee $40 on top of room rate Parking fee $40 on top of room rate
One of the best vacation experiences I've ever had. They upgraded me to a room with a balcony and view of the gorgeous mountainside for free. They also helped me with my proposal to my now fiance by decking the room out with flowers, candles, champagne, etc. Concierge was very helpful and helped us plan some really fun activities as we're not big skiers. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!
Can't really say anything negative, the stay was great. I guess if I had to choose something I could say that the property was too big. You honestly need a map just to walk around, but that's not really a negative.
Comfortable, relaxing, beautiful
On the Gore River, with pool, spa, and restaurant facing beautiful Aspen mountainside. The sound of the river aded to the relaxation. I rode my bicycle on the Gore Valley Trail, which is located immediately adjanct to the hotel. We had breakfast two mornings at the outside seating of the restaurant. A beautiful and delicious way to start each day. Saturday afternoon there was live acoustic music at the pool area that was great. Regular free shuttle service to Lionshead and Vail Village. All the staff with whom we interacted were very attentive and nice. My wife enjoyed her pedicure at the onsite Aria Spa. The room was quiet, attractive and comfortable. We are thinking of returning once the Aspen leaves turn so we can stare at a mountainside of yellow Aspen.
Friendly staff, decent accommodations.
Located out of the way a bit but the shuttle was nice. Also, the hotel was a little dated
Phenomenal River Views!
Absolutely beautiful views of the river since property sits right on edge! Great pool and hot tubs, wonderful spa and great ski access as well!
Restaurant was disappointing, terrible service but decent food
On-site dining was amazing! Relaxed atmosphere with high-quality, unique and well-prepared dishes for a bargain price! Rooms were clean and well-appointed. We had a small balcony opening to the river (recommend this, rather than court yard views).
Pool was overrun by family pitching a football despite the crowd and small children getting hit and splashed. Staff could/should have stepped in for the comfort of all. We relocated to the health club which has a quiet pool and hot tub.
We had a great family get away! The pool there is great and super family friendly. We love to stay here!
The staff was very nice and the view of the creek was very pretty. If you do not have to do any work while on vacation then this is a fine place to stay.
There is no business center. From 7 am- 7 pm you can use the computers in the coffee shop but once it closes you have to go to the second floor and pay $5 to start the computer and $.50 for every minute after that. I don't mind paying for a nice place to stay so the fact that it was a little more in price doesn't bother me, what bothers me is that it cost more and the quality was poor. There was nothing overly exciting about the room (in which the phone didn't work and there were holes in the curtains) and the food in the restaurant was okay, nothing compared to what it should have been for the price. If you're going to stay here (although I suggest otherwise since you can pay the same amount for another resort) don't count on having a business center and eat as much as you can in town where there are good restaurants.
It's got its own chairlift.. Enough said
The service was excellent and very knowledgeable when it came to choosing a restaurant. The facilities such as the infinity pool and hot tub were unbelievable. Loved every bit of our stay. Look for those rare off season rates for a fraction of the cost.
Great place to stay in Vail
The location was excellent and the price for a hotel adjacent to the lift was definitely worth it. The service from the valets was outstanding.
The room was pretty small and the service from some of the staff was poor, especially the gift shop/cafe.
Desiring a true ski-in/ ski-out location with a private lift? With a beautiful creek-side setting, Hotel Talisa is a great overnight choice for those looking to get away and relax with all the amenities of an upscale hotel.
Hotel Talisa is in a prime location, just a short distance from Lionshead Village in Vail and at the base of a private ski lift. The resort is a village of its own with all the amenities needed for a luxurious stay. However, dining, shopping, and entertainment can be found just a mile or two away at Lionshead Village and downtown Vail Village. A large perk for adventurers is the walking paths to the Village.
Aside from the perfect ski-in/ski-out access with a private chair life and ski rentals, the resort offers tons of conveniences, perks, and amenities for guests. A 10,000 square-foot Aria Spa include several treatment rooms and a list of services, including an outdoor saline pool and jacuzzi. A massive fitness center features an indoor track, basketball court, and tennis courts. An outdoor infinity pool is also available and adjacent to the jacuzzi and fire pits, all offering great creek views. For business travelers, more than 45,000 square feet of event space, including 19 meeting rooms is available. Three amazing restaurants are on-site offering American cuisine, cozy cocktails, home-made pizzas, and much more.
Standard rooms are large and feature conveniences such as mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and bathrobes. There are several layouts offered at the resort, many with fireplaces and balconies with views of the mountain.
Travelers love that the secluded property is a village all on its own with private access to skiing, several amenities, and lush accommodations.
