Pros: Very comfortable room, attentive staff, nice area, I would definitely stay here again and recommend. Wifi was awful logged onto their wifi would but could not get internet. Apparently they are in process of getting better wifi.
Pros: Very nice facility. Only two stories so not too many neighbors. Great location, fireplace with complimentary logs, and wet bar made it an ease to chuck some fresh bough local oysters.
Cons: For the price maybe some kind of complimentary breakfast would have been nice. The walls were not the best to block off loud kids in the morning next door.
Pros: Wonderful service. Clean great views and great dinner on premise. Quite.
Pros: Comfortable rooms.
Cons: Not on the beach as the photos may indicate. The beach is a drive away.
Enjoy your visit to Bodega Bay with a stay at Bodega Bay Lodge. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, or indulge in hot stone massages, body scrubs, or facials. There's an outdoor pool and a bar/lounge, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer flat-screen TVs and minibars.

An outdoor pool and a terrace are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale inn offer upscale touches like fireplaces and jetted tubs.
Pros: The grounds of this Property were immaculately groomed and fountains, potted plants, and bushes were so attractive. The walkways meandered through property and included a lit Bocce Ball court and a walking trail. Our King Bedroom included a patio facing the vineyard accessed by an attractive doorway. Our room was nicely decorated and included two stuffed arm chairs for our comfort. We also had a credenza and a work desk with chair. There was plenty of room and the bathroom was very nicely appointed. We ate in their dining room which was beautifully lit with tiny lights and elegant décor. Food was fabulous and plenty of choices and excellent presentation. Every bit was delicious. We also ordered one breakfast through room service and our eggs benedict were perfect! Coffee hot and O.J. cold and flavorful. Complimentary bottle of wine & 2 waters. We would definitely stay again!
Cons: This is not really a dislike, for me the large bath was a little tall but my husband loved it. It was a nice oval soaking tub in the shower enclosure. They had grab bars for safety so that was easy.
Pros: The hotel is 20 minutes from everything. At first I was nervous that it was right off the highway but that was nothing to be concerned about. It is very quiet. Views are of the adjacent vineyard. The grounds are lovely and full of surprises (like the bocce court). The food was fantastic (the main restaurant and John Ash). The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. Best value in wine country.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.
Nestled among 90 acres of vineyards, our European style estate is the ideal environment for business and pleasure. Perfectly located in Sonoma County, the heart of California wine Country, just one hour north of San Francisco and 4 miles from Downtown Santa Rosa. You can enjoy hot items from our breakfast menu in the beautiful Vintners Inn Cafe. A bottle of wine will be in your room upon arrival. Adjacent to the Inn is the nationally acclaimed John Ash & Co. restaurant and The Front Room, our new Bar and Lounge. From the warm welcome to the Old Style Service, the ambience and the beautiful vineyard surroundings, we are confident youll have a memorable experience. This is also the perfect location to explore the wine appellations of Russian River, Dry Creek, Alexander and Sonoma Valleys.
Pros: Beautiful rooms, great views, cozy facility, great restaurant.
Cons: Middle of nowhere. Some rooms are remodeled and some are not, the ones that aren't have spiders and are out dated.
Situated by the ocean, Timber Cove is a great choice for a stay in Jenner. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Coast Kitchen, which serves local cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. A bar/lounge and a terrace are offered, and rooms get the details right with fireplaces and premium bedding.
Pros: Very nice and clean. Great location and excellent staff.

Pros: Staff at this hotel treated us like royalty throughout our stay. Our every need was met, and service from check in, to room service, to placing our bags in a new room when we moved to a bigger room on our second night, to the outstanding server at breakfast each day, and to the shuttle driver to the airport was first rate.
The rooms were clean, updated and spacious.
Parking is ample and the hotel is in a nice area, next to a vineyard. Will absolutely stay next time we are in the area.
Cons: Only negative was the noisy parents and kids slamming their door on the deadbolt next door to us our first night. The hotel dealt with this effectively as soon as we complained.
I have NO complaints about the hotel facilities or staff, which is rare. This place does everything right.
Pros: Clean, great staff.
Pros: The staff was great and everything was very clean.
Cons: The beds are a little weird. I couldn't tell if the dial did anything and they were never explained.

Pros: Both elegant and comfortable. Fun neighborhood with interesting shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was most helpful. Parking was both complimentary and convenient.
Pros: Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Close to the conference venue. Good continental breakfast.
Cons: Near homeless shelter and location of parking lot.
Pros: Charming old hotel, right downtown, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. 4 blocks from Russian River Brewing
Cons: Old tube type tv, room small by today's standards. Neither was a problem, I didn't come here to watch TV, and with the age of the hotel the room size is expected.
Pros: Charming boutique hotel...good restaurants in walking distance and the charm of great wine country
Cons: Little mold in shower, could not get extra towels delivered. Had to goto lobby for ice and towels. Only provided towels for 2 of 3 guests
Pros: Loved the convenient location, ease of parking, and closeness to amenities. Liked that I felt safe walking around the neighborhood. Looking forward to staying once the Smart Train starts running all the way to Larkspur. You could park the car & never move it for an extended stay. The free breakfast was a bonus & quite delicious.
Cons: Lots of street noise; took one night to get used to. Slept much better the second night.
Pros: very near to good restaurants, clean, quiet
Cons: I made 3 reservations under one name hoping we would all have rooms in the same building. Front desk person said the hotel thought it was only one person and they did not put all of us in the same room - did not make any sense.
Pros: The outside of the hotel look cute and historical. The inside is other story.
Pros: The hotel had a vintage turn of the century look & feel to it. An being this was a honeymoon stay my beautiful bride really appreciated the classic feel it brought to our honeymoon. This was very centrally located from everywhere we wanted to go. Most of the restaurants we went to were either a short walk away or a very short drive away. Access to & from the freeway was very simple which made it that much better for day trips which we took several.
Cons: There was a few things that I did see that was troublesome. An that was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Along the ceiling was what appears to be either small buildup of water stains or mildew. Other than that the hotel was very good. The other issue I had was by no means within the control of the hotel but it is still an issue. Every morning & everyday we were there all we heard an saw was the yelling from the local transients in the park across the street from the hotel. That was a big issue I had every time I dropped of my wife at the door to go park the car. I can't he but think that one would try to harass or rob her as she's walking inside while I'm parking our car across the street.
Pros: We found La Rose Hotel to be very welcoming and immaculate. We liked all the light in our room and the large marble bathroom. The parking was conveniently located nearby. The hotel was near excellent restaurants and interesting shops. We enjoyed all the fresh fruit offered as a part of the complimentary breakfast buffet.
Cons: The water for tea was not hot, but when asked, they promptly remedied the problem. It would add a nice ambiance if music was played during the breakfast hours.
Hotel La Rose puts you within a 10-minute drive of Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate and Gardens. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 9 AM. Other highlights at this historic inn include a terrace and a garden.
Enjoy your visit to Monte Rio with a stay at Village Inn & Restaurant. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or wind down at the end of the day with a drink from the bar/lounge. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: Hotel staff was friendly and location to the wharf was excellent!
Pros: room, setup, service, food - everything was excellent will go back
Pros: The setting and landscaping and staff were awesome.
Pros: The wood burning fireplace.
Cons: The hotel room was not worth the price we paid. It was dated and rundown. The towels and upholstery on the chairs were fraying. A metal piece came off our shower when turning it on. The breakfast was bad with old fruit and rancid cottage cheese.
Pros: It was a very quiet place and the room I was in was very large and pretty.
Cons: The pool/spa closes at 6pm/9pm. I would have liked to come back after being out and relax and swim. The guest towels were threadbare and stringy around the edges. The curtains in the bathroom did not provide adequate privacy. No breakfast variety.
Pros: Hotel employee is the man. Jack of all trades. Owner, host, chef, waiter, etc
Cons: Would have been nice if it's closer to Bodega Bay. Also WiFi was extra -- would be nice to have in rooms as cell coverage is not good from surrounding hills.
When visiting Bodega, Sonoma Coast Villa & Spa is a great choice to consider. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the spa to be pampered with massages, body wraps, or aromatherapy. An outdoor pool and a spa tub are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale inn offer up nice touches like fireplaces and premium bedding.
Pros: Ted, the owner is very hand on ! He also knows the area quite well, and recommended some great restaurants and hikes. We were only staying overnight, so can't really speak to extended stay, but it was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Oh, and there's a great coffee shop right behind the Inn ! Wonderful and talented Barrista there !
Pros: Pleasant enough Inn keeper.
Easy to find.
Shared parking lot with restaurant and art gallery.
Close and accessible drive down the street to the waterfront.
Cons: People using the shared kitchen made the whole place smell like whatever they were heating up. In our experience, that smell was some weird, meat-like smell that hung around all day long.
Super weak shower head.
Just an overall dingy feeling to the place. Not unclean or dirty, just sort of dingy and not refreshing at all.
The Bodega Bay Inn family-run since 1984. All rooms have king size beds including light refreshments all day in the sunroom just off the back garden. The inn contains original art by local artists and has an outdoor sculpture garden. Also close to community activities and the UC Marine Lab. Some rooms have jetted tubs.
Pros: The hot tub on our private patio had a great view both of the ocean and the brilliant stars. Chris and Alicia are warm, helpful hosts.
When visiting Jenner, Fort Ross Lodge is a great choice to consider. Guests can enjoy the spa tub or take advantage of nearby hiking/biking trails. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with furnished patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: I loved the scent of the toiletries, the comfortable bed, and the delicious coffee for the Kuerig. There was even creamer in the rooms refrigerator. The restaurant across the way is very good but also very pricey. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had everything we wanted or needed. Really likes the communicating with the front desk by text. Look forward to our next stay!
Cons: The fan in the bathroom was pretty weak, but seem to get all of the steam from my shower.
Pros: Clean & Elegant
Pros: Very comfortable and well appointed rooms.
Cons: The decor was decades out of date.
Cons: Overall experience doesn't match with price by a long shot. Holton above the hill much better luxury and value. Best asset you have is extraordinary concierge.
Pros: The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Cons: Their ad did not indicate their pool and hot tub was closed for the winter. We were very disappointed to find this out when we checked in. They offered us passes to the FountainGrove club, which was nice, but if we'd known in advance they had no hot tub on the property, we would have gone elsewhere.
We've been to this hotel many times before, and were disappointed with how it's changed.
Pros: • Interiors are set in modern decor rarely found in hotels on this price range
• Room I stayed was clean, spacious and had no odors
• Staff were helpful
• Plenty free parking space in front
• Location is great for visiting wineries in Northern Sonoma
• WiFi signal wasn’t good in my room so I had to be in lobby area to get better connection. This part needs improvement. The staff acknowledged this issue and are working on to improve it.
• Breakfast (not complimentary) is served in a restaurant on the first floor
Overall, Fountaingrove Inn is a nice place for the rate I paid. There were negative reviews in the past but I think the hotel has improved since. Regardless what other booking web sites rate this hotel 3 stars or 4 stars, the rate you pay reflects the quality. You just don’t pay a hundred forty dollar room and expect the place to be like the Hilton - then you just move up to the next budget level of $200+.
Cons: Bad Wifi connection in my room.
Pros: Heated Pool, Great bedding and comfortable bed, Keurig Coffee Maker, plenty of complimentary newspapers in the morning.
However, cheap toilet paper and scant coffee condiments in the room just didn't seem to match the rest of the decor and hospitality. These two little things would be so easy to improve on....But in the meantime, bring your own coffee creamer!
Pros: REally liked the location and the staff was really nice and fun.
Cons: I felt like the hotel was overpriced.
Pros: Nice location/value with friendly staff and very comfy beds. A no brainer if in the area.
At the Fountaingrove Inn, business and leisure travelers alike will discover simple elegance, gracious hospitality and all the amenities one could desire. Located only 65 miles North of San Francisco and Oakland airports, the Inn is the perfect location as a home-base for your wine country excursion. The towns of Sonoma and Healdsburg are in Santa Rosa's backyard as well as the popular wine regions of Russian River, Sonoma Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley. Sonoma Wine Country boasts over 300 wineries, many within a short scenic drive from the hotel.
When you stay at Case Ranch Inn, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate and Gardens. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily between 9 AM and 10 AM. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like fireplaces and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: Very comfortable spacious room. Complimentary Wi-Fi. Breakfast was fantastic...hot and cold food choices. Room was quiet and peaceful with easy temp control. Staff was pleasant, accommodating and made us feel welcomed.
Cons: Cleaning products had an unpleasant scent. It was everywhere, including the elevators, and reminded me of a hospital. Otherwise wonderful and we will definitely stay again.
Cons: i don't usually like to leave negative comments, but I was woken up by the person who stayed on the 3rd floor after I went to bed and before I was planning on getting up. I could hear them walking all throughout the room so I did not sleep well at all. Almost like they had a sleep issue and they were up frequently.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Rohnert Park/Sonoma County welcomes you to the gateway of Wine Country. Our beautiful lobby is the perfect place to meet friends and family. Our spacious rooms and suites will make your visit comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy our complimentary On the House hot breakfast and complimentary High Speed Internet Access. Pros: Fab beds! Fab covers! Good pillow choices! Nice decor! Very clean! 8 rooms! Just wish we stayed over on a Thursday night as the very small village has the few places for food open Thursday-Sunday evenings & mornings! Wiuld have been nice for breakfast to have had some bread & a toaster & some butter & jam! And a small table to sit at also!
And yes warm & quiet!! Memorable! Would return if in the area. Drove 15 min. To Nicks in nearby Marshsll on Tomales Bay for a very fine dinner, even a musician entertaining! Also might add, good tv reception! No problems. Drove from Bodega Bay easy to find en route to Pt. Reyes, Monterey. Will tell friends at my home in Hawai'i Kai about this hotel!
Cons: Most everything was fine. See above comment for details!
The Continental Inn is a great choice for a stay in Tomales. Freebies like breakfast, WiFi, and self parking are added perks, and guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails and kayaking.
Cons: We couldn't turn off the heater and it smelled.
Cons: the shower was clogged
Pros: nice view of the water. Cabins were spacious and comfortable. Nice hot tub and pool. Food was good.
Cons: The bathroom and rooms were a little bit outdated. The toilet was very old and weak.
Pros: Very peaceful and quiet. Nice location
Lots of close parking. Beautiful grounds.
Cons: Would be nice and safe to install a grab bar for entering the tub/shower area.
Door key card wasn't cooperative. Had to make several attempts before opening door.
Small refrigerator in room would be nice.
Pros: We go here often and love it!
Pros: Wonderful location, pleasant and courteous staff, central to Bodega Bay.
Cons: Room phone did not work so could not call desk when toilet had a problem. Desk lamp did not work so phone carger plug was nonjfunctional. There was only one wastebaskey. Wifi was extremely poor andwould not connect, and with phone down, couldnt get hold of the desk. No instructions for connevting. Complementary breakfast was premade and did not taste very good.
Cons: To much money and not that nice looking
Pros: Staff was friendly. Great breakfast.
Cons: No air conditioning. Room had a horrible "musty" smell. I'd advise that if you decide to stay to request that the staff "air" the room out a minimum of 15 mins before you arrive to your room.
Situated by the ocean, The Inn at the Tides is a great choice for a stay in Bodega Bay. Guests can indulge in massages, then grab a bite to eat at one of the 2 restaurants. 2 bars/lounges and an outdoor pool are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like bathrobes and pillowtop beds with down comforters.
Pros: Facility is nice, clean and staff especially the housekeeping was very friendly and available.
Cons: Parking, the lot is dark and spaces are far from entrance if the building.
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms, great food and beverage options, and super welcoming staff made this hotel one I will visit again next time I am in town.
Pros: Salad and other produce was fresh. My friend ordered regular black iced tea and they brewed it fresh for her and gave her the extra in a cup to go.
Cons: Salad was a little tasteless and the salad dressing was extremely thick. The dressing did not easily poor from the small pitcher it was served in.
Turkey sausage for breakfast lacked much flavor. Fruit substitution at breakfast was extremely small portion. The cut up fruit was served on the plate in a separate cup and the cup was about half empty.

Pros: The staff was very welcoming and made us feel like we were at home. Got a great upgrade to suite with our own jacuzzi. Best value for amazing grounds with spectacular view of the Pacific. The food was good and the staff very good. Really appreciated the owner's hands on approach to satisfying his guests.
Best value for a room with sunset views, big community jacuzzi, great on site dining, and the sound of the ocean when you sleep.
Cons: This is an older facility that's under tender care of new management after sitting empty for several years. It's more remote, so Internet was sporadic.
When visiting Jenner, Ocean Cove Lodge Bar & Grill is a great choice to consider. Guests can enjoy American cuisine at Ocean Cove Bar and Grill, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the sauna makes for a relaxing end to the day. Other highlights include 2 spa tubs, a bar/lounge, and a garden.
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, and met our needs (we just needed a simple place to stay before an Ironman race).
Cons: There was a $10 parking fee, which seemed odd as this isn't a city with limited parking. There were huge parking lots, so this just seemed like a bit of greediness on the hotel's part.
Pros: The front desk was very polite handling my complaint and agreed to refund half of my room charge if Kayak initiated the reduction
Cons: Mold poisoning
Pros: The rooms were nice really clean but the corridors and walk ways looked old and needed a updating.
No big deal it was overall a very nice hotel.
Cons: updating of carpet and stairways.
Cons: Old falling apart furniture
Cons: Cobwebs in corners of bathroom

Pros: We loved the overall ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. Evan gave us a warm welcome after a long day of traveling which really appreciated. The food was delicious and we loved our personal balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard while sipping on wine.
Cons: We loved everything!
Pros: Staff was friendly, there was free wi-fi, the rooms were clean and the heated pool and the hot tub were nice. I would stay here again.
Cons: Our room smelled a bit, there wasn't a vent with a fan in the bathroom and the room became super steamy whenever we took a shower. Our friends room did not have an odor.
Pros: I was only there overnight and this is he best choice in Rohnert Park. Grounds are nice and the location is central to things to do in the area. Rohnert Park, however, isn't a destination. Pool area is very nice. Room was fine but in need of updating. Popcorn ceilings and older fixtures.
Cons: The carpet in hallways and the room need replacing. Additional lighting in the large parking lot would make female travelers feel safer.
Pros: I was more than pleasantly surprise. Very nice property. The beds were so amazing that my daughter and I (separate beds) did not want to pull ourselves out of them. The room was very well-appointed from the price. The lobby is great, bar area was welcoming. If I need to stay in Rohnert Park again, I would gladly return.
Pros: Hotel is clean on the inside and the balcony has a nice view with space for multiple people to socialize.
Cons: When I first arrived the toilet was plugged up; however, that was fixed immediately. The real problem was the cigars and cigarette butts left out on the balcony ledge/overlook. I did not like the smell, and had to clean up someone else's cigars and cigarettes. The cleaning crew should clean up the balcony overhang of the rooms especially since the room I staid in is non-smoking.
Pros: It is an above average facility in a beautiful setting. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff very accommodating.
Cons: The breakfast offerings were disappointing. The dresser drawer space was inadequate.
Pros: 1. The grounds are beautiful.
2. There was a hot tub and pool, a beautiful patio and AMAZING lobby with fireplace.
3. I had been dreaming of sitting next to a warm fireplace and reading, and it happened. It was so perfect.
4. I love the warm cookies upon arrival.
5. I also had forgotten my toothbrush and they gave me a very nice one with a travel size tooth paste (not those little toothpaste sachets).
Cons: 1. The sliding door lock in our room worked about 50% of the time. I spent about 5 minutes trying to jostle it open to get my bathing suit I'd left on the patio.
2. The toilet didn't flush at all when we arrived. The engineer had to come and replaced a valve.
3. One of the towels smelled like it had been previously saturated with urine.
4. The television was so bizarre - the TV guide channel wasn't synched to the programming. The guide would say one show was on, but in fact an entirely different show was on and there was no rhyme or reason to any of it.
Pros: Clean room, beautiful grounds
Cons: Noisy people in room next to me
Pros: Spacious room, friendly desk staff, helpful service getting internet code, comfortable bed. The building itself is quite nice and the restaurant/bar area looked accommodating.
Cons: I was given a handicap room even though the hotel was not very busy. It would have been nice to ask if such a room would have been acceptable. It wasn't a big deal but I would have expected such a conversation to have occurred at check in.
Pros: The staff very friendly, helpful and they seemed to enjoy their work environment.
Cons: Dead bugs in the bottom of light fixtures. The art on walls not dusted regularly. But everything else very clean.
Cons: I booked my reservation through your company and when I got to the hotel they were sold out and did not have a room for me . It was late at night and I could not get a hotel room anywhere that night I had to sleep in my car.
Pros: Very nice visit - they remembered our anniversary with a bottle of champagne - very much appreciated
Cons: everything was fine
