good location for town center, easy access to Valle D'Aosta, nice cheap and cheerful hotel.
the staff the room and location
Satisfied with the service and the people who worked in the hotel.Recommended
Parking available. No elevators to help carry heavy luggage.
Near to lovely town. Pleasant hotel. No
Peace and quiet People judge by appearances, I felt I wasn't the type of client they were looking for but I don't care what people think. They get on with their perceptions, I get on with my life.
Poor location on very noisy road across from steel factory. Traffic and people noise until past midnight. Did not have elevator. Breakfast poor. Would rate as 6.5.
Breakfast only fair,no fresh fuit, cofee out of machine
I liked the location and price. The continental breakfast was very nice. The room was nice and clean. The air conditioning was a bonus, even though the weather was pleasant. I would stay here again. The only thing that I did not like was the placement of the shower plumbing. The shower space was small, and the controls for the hot/cold water reduced the available space.
Good location for train and bus stations and not far to centre. Poor breakfast.
The views over the mountains were fabulous. The rooms were small and fairly basic but clean and with TVs and ensuites, the breakfast was good as was the evening meal. Overall good value for a family The drinks were fairly expensive with the evening meal.
Nothing The hotel comes out of another age ! old fashioned, poor beds, dirty carpets, needs urgent and deep renovation. Poor quality of the food and the breakfast. The only + point is the friendly staff ! Certainly no more worth than 1 star !! please check yourself. It was a real disappointment. Luckily it was only for 1 night - yerk
It was a great location for visiting Val d'Aosta. The value for the cost was outstanding. The food was very good at the restaraunt. The staff were very helpful. It is a great place off the beaten path.
A very coasy hotel having panoramic views of mountains, very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to rent a car however public transport stops in front of the hotel.Would certainly visit again this place during winter!
all good nothing bad
The location and the view Everything was OK.
Beautiful location, stunning view, problems with heating system at the beginning. Hotel room was not prepared for the guests at the day I arrived
scenery, uniqueness of community, walking
Amazing location and high quality and ambience of hotel and staff Driving up the mountain to the hotel in fog!
Very friendly, excellent location with outstanding views
beautiful locatation, very helpful staff, great breakfast, would stay again
clean, friendly staff, good position to visit the town center.
Very friendly people, expensive to get there expensive tolls.
Very friendly staff. Good location with parking for people with their own transport. Well organised, clean tidy and spacious room. Near a road but little traffic and little noise. Nothing really, we would and will return again.
small, friendly and safe. Helpful staff, central location for driving around valle d'aosta. Parking is within the hotel yard adn free. not really, however the hotel is detached from the main town so there is not much to do in the evening, if you still have the energy !
tranquility and courtesy
The family atmosphere of the hotel. The kindness of the staff who were willing to go out of their way to help us. A big TV in each room. The hotel does not have any airconditioning in the rooms. The rooms can be very warm in summer. The hotel is on a busy road and so if you open the windows the rooms will become very noisy
Friendly helpful staff, good location, well maintained. Excllent value for money and great food. None
Proximity to the Gran Paradiso valley and Aosta The room was exremely hot with no air conditioning and it was impossible to have the window open because of the adjacent very busy main road. The corridors were extremely shabby and the decor of the rooms was very untasteful in bright mustard and green. There were no windows in the dining room and the whole experience was unpleasant. It was as though we were staying in a motorway service station. It is difficult to understand why this hotel has been given a 3 star status.
Very nice hotel, helpful staff. There is not too much to do in Aosta, but the hotel provided a good alternative.
Excellent friendly staff, clean comfortable accomodation, good food both evening meal and breakfast. Prices reasonable for what we received. Garaged parking available. None
The room was quite big and the breakfast buffet too
If you want to explore Valle d´Aosta, the location of the hotel is very good. It is easy to find and there is a parking place in front of the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful regarding to places of interest in the area and gave good succestions where to go. Clean room, nice garden. Rooms are a bit outdated. Shower corner was tiny. Breakfast very basic.
the staff were very helpful, the food was at a very reasonable cost
Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent evening meal with of local produce / wine. Attention to detail, quality and cleanliness of accommodation.
friendly and helpful desk clerks. great breakfast. and wonderful location. thanks. no
Very friendly reception and breakfast staff.
Staff were very cheerful and helpful, especially in the breakfast room. View of the mountains from the bedroom was fantastic. Maybe a little bit pricy, but the town does not seem to have many cheaper alternatives
Central location in Aosta, within walking distance of all major sights within the town. Room was spacious. Was a little expensive for a fairly basic room.
Excellent staff, V. helpful and pleasant. Central position close to railway/bus station which was useful for me as I arrived by train and departed by bus. Yes, I do not like being charged to link to wi-fi with my own laptop. This service should be offered free to hotel guests using their own laptops.
Great location, staff, price and breakfast. Comfortable, clean hotel.
Close to city centre, clean and warm, freindly staff.
it was very close to transport; it was clean and quiet; always felt welcome douring my stay
The location was very good, close to the shopping area of Aosta and the train/bus stations. We were 3 adults, and we were given a quadruple room, which was basically 2 connected rooms, which were comfortable. The lady at the reception was very helpful and gave a lot of tourist info. Breakfast was good, with a little variety, but not much compared to some other hotels in Italy. The view from the room was amazing. There was no air-conditioning and so we had to keep the window open at night. The street below had a lot of traffic and pedestrians, even until the early hours of the morning, so sleep was very disturbed. The gentleman at the reception is a bit rude and does not try to understand English.
Staff was very nice. Friendly and helpful. There was a lot of street noise even though this was not a large city. Noisy tourists talking loudly in the street late at night.
Spa, saunas. The restaurant is not so good for the price. It's very expensive!!
A perfect place for a romantic week-end. The wellness centre is very nice and the small outdoor jacuzzi is great, with a stunning view on the Mont-Blanc. Superb buffet breakfast, with again this fabulous view on the Mont-Blanc. Already mentioned by other customers, and I confirm it happened to us as well: there is a lack of water in the shower in the evening.
The location, room, spa and restaurant were all excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic - lots of choice of local produce! Everything was very high quality and this hotel is definitely recommended for that touch of luxury.
Excellent view, experience, and service.
The food was excellent.the views were stunning and the ski slopes were a 12 minute drive.
1)Large reception rooms with open fires and sofas. 2) Spa, outdoor hot tub and swimming pool indoors. 3) Free shuttle bus to Courmayeur. 1) No hot water in the evenings when everyone was getting ready for dinner. 2) Rooms were very small and the beds were smaller than normal and had a hard matress. 3) Menu did not cater for children or vegetarians. 4) Slightly chaotic service and no anticipation of need even when staying a week.
Just about everything; the hotel is excellent, the staff could not be more friendly and helpful, the views are stunning, the food is also very good. Nothing
Comfort, wellness, restaurant
quality of the restaurant, staf, location, facilities.... etc.
Wonderful Staff, Great food
Found hotel was not what it use to be and has changed ownership staff not interested in customers needsnothing else to say poor everything
They claim that they have wifi in the rooms, but they do not.
Convenient location for transit, next to highway. Large room, clean. Very unpersonal look and feel. Very average breakfast. Noisy area (highway, aerodrome), opening a window is not an option. I wanted to work a few hours and the wifi was not working ("we had heavy rains 2 days ago...").
Visited Aosta and it was beautiful.
we had problem to find the hotel, the gps didnt find the adress
The room was a good size and comfortable Unenthusiastic welcome as reception - limited restaurant menu - food average quality
IT'S ALL REALLY GOOD Maybe the swimming pool could be enlarged a little bit, and the hotel, even if it's really beautiful, could seem a little expensive
Very stylish and cosy hotel. Exceptional architecture.
Hotel was clean and warm and staff were friendly. Location was further out of the town than expected. Breakfast service was slow and frustrating - kept running out of clean tables, bowls, cutlery, food on the buffet.
Very helpful staff, clean, calm enviroment, plenty of public lounge space, good sized rooms. As we were staying for 7 nights we were upgraded which made a real difference to our stay and was a welcomed gesture. There is building going on adjacent to the hotel which spoilt our view. This will impact on the view of many rooms. The breakfasts were truly awful and not what we expect from a 4 star hotel though they improved slightly towards the end of our stay.
A nice hotel, parking was actually free, not the 8 Euros advertised, clean and tidy quite large room Jacuzi was cold so not what I expected, a good 15 min walk to the town centre, a nice hotel, but just not 4 star quality. only 1 person on the reception, happy to do thier job but not over friendly, and the room faced the train line a few meters away, so was quite noisy at night. Still, a "nice" hotel, nothing special.
Very warm welcome, room fine. Location (after Mont Blanc tunnel) ideal for travelers heading for central Italy from Cherbourg. Pet friendly: of particular value to us because we were traveling with a cat. Ease of making a reservation for our return journey to Cherbourg in September. It is a pity (see about cat) that there is so much construction work around the hotel that encroaches on the grounds.
THe excellent waiter. Closing the pool at 8 p.m. seems restrictive.
Secure free underground garage. Super room. Good food and service. Needs a bigger sign on the main road as it is set back and easy to miss. Bathroom was a triumph of design over practicality. However it was spotlessly clean and large.
excellent staff, good sized room, well designed and clean hotel, good breakfast. Access to the underground car park could be better organised and signed
Clean rooms, pleasant staff and good location to access the gondolo for Pila. Also very nice to get back to hotel after a hard days sking and chill out in the warm waters of the pool and jacuzzi.
A very pleasing hotel with a beautiful garden. Parking available. Beautiful views from the room balcony to the snow capped mountains. Breakfast was rather meagre and disappointing.
Friendly staff, nice room, lovely view over the mountains, good food.Nice hotel n/a
Would always use if in the area Shower unit a bit too small
The location, the room, the cleanliness, staff, breakfast, mountain view, environment, value for money, parking
A typical Italian resort Hotel C
Helpful staff and very nice room
The room was spacious with a balcony (with a lovely view). The continental breakfast was good and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The beautiful old town of Aosta, as the crow flies, is very close - but because of the train line, the walk to Aosta takes quite a long time (2km min) - but the walk is easy and enjoyable so don't let that put you off. The wifi was good and there was one English channel on the TV. This is not a luxury hotel and could do with a face lift - but it was comfortable and warm.
We thought the food in the restaurant excellent and the room was very comfortable.
Pleasant and clean
The view from the balcony was wonderful, the room was extremely comfortable and well furnished, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful
The man at the front desk was great, helped me with everything I needed and was willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was happy.
Very clean and charming. Hotel staff were friendly and helpfull. No
The service was quite good, hotel staff is very helpful. The room is quite big and clean. It is good value for money.
The owner/manager was very friendly and informative about the area.
Friendly and efficient
very very good hotel. the staff were very nice and kindly, it was lovely to stay there, i will defently come back next time.
The hotelier was very helpful and gave us advice on our day out to the cable car. The views from our room were spectacular and the hotel was very clean. No
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location to explore the mountains
The comfort, clean and view from the room, simpathy from staff.Very good value
Really enjoyed dinner and think that the idea of setting one table for its guest is very clever.Loved the wine and the atmosphere of the place and would like to come back one day.
Terrrific views, super staff
good for the overnight stop we required, excellent views of Aosta valley, could see it as excellent for skiers as next to ski-lift station difficult to find as 9km up hairpins from Gressan village
