Pros: Vela Luka is a lovely town - glad we went as other areas on the island were very commercial. The rooms were good and clean - just noting if you are travelling with others you will most likely not get the same type of room. Hosts were really lovely and recommend a great restaurant.
Cons: A few extras would have been nice - shampoo, soap, more tea, milk etc. A sign on the property would be helpful too to find it

Pros: We had one of the two rooms on second floor. With nice big window facing the town / facing north (= no sun), which was nice because the sun was quite hot. Free parking is 500 m away - along the street. With the room you can also use the outdoor area for afternoon tea or breakfast. Good bed/ pillows and towels. Pros: Staying here was exactly what I needed! I stayed here for 12 days and I enjoyed every single day. The room is clean, bed is very comfy and everything is new and nicely decorated. Renata and Damir, the owners, are truly nice and welcoming people. I hope I will have the chance to come back here.

Pros: This was my second visit to Luxory D-Rooms and it was just beautiful and as perfect as the last time. The location is on the bay and a stroll away from everything you need, the room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. Our hosts were so generous and welcoming. There is a beautiful side balcony to sit on and have a wine or breakfast in the morning. I will definitely be back.

Pros: My husband and I loved this place! It's smack in the middle of Vela Luke and is close to the harbor, restaurants, shops, beaches, and is right next to a grocery store. It's also connected to a restaurant, where I had the best seafood marinara over spaghetti I've ever had, really! The room is small, but everything is new and good quality, and who spends much time in their room anyway in Vela Luka? The hallways and staircase have the old tile and woodwork and it's lovely. We were very happy here, no complaints.

Pros: When I booked it, I didn't realize there are rooms with and without balcony. Mine didn't have one, but was a very clean room with a big bathroom. Very comfy bed and pillows. There is paid parking next to the apartment in the marina. The location is fantastic, you can walk anywhere. It was quiet during our two nights stay. Highly recommended!

A small park with a children's playground is 30 metres away, while a restaurant serving traditional and international dishes is at a distance of 50 metres. The Town Museum and the Church of St. Joseph can also be found in the vicinity. The local bus stop is next to the ferry and catamaran port with lines to Split, approximately 1 km away. Pros: Perfect localization - many restaurants and shops near this apartment. Apartment is near the place where the ferry leaves, which is very important if you travel by car. Brilliant hostess - Marina. She is very helpful and nice person. You can call her at any time and ask her what you need to know. She even gave us her parking ticket, that we can park everywhere in the city!

Pros: Great place to stay in the town center. It seems to be a new renovation, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Manager was very nice and professional. Location is right in the center of Vela Luka
Cons: Parking is hard to find... but this is an issue of the town, not this guest house in particular. (But this might have been limited to July peak season). Be patient and you'll find a place within 500 meters. Really you'll be using that place as a base to explore the rest of the island... everything in the town itself is in walking distance.

Pros: The location is very good, right in the center. The host, Marina, was extraordinary. She provided us with all the information I needed. The rooms are bright and clean. A few meters away is the harbor, market, bank, cafes and restaurants. There is public parking nearby where you have to pay or discuss with Marina other parking facilities. Because we felt very good, we recommend this location and we will definitely come back.

Pros: The location is great for basing yourself in Korcula, it is opposite the taxi boats to get to the nearby islands and close to Konoba Lucia (one of the best restaurants in Vela Luka which is a hidden gem). The breakfast is has a great selection of gluten free and dairy free options and there is a lot you can order from the menu, included in the price (including omlettes and pancakes). The have a great fruit selection too, including melon, pineapple, dried figs, bananas and apples. They also offer yoga on the beach for an extra 50kn.
Cons: Only small things...The toilet brush was very dirty when we arrived and the balcony is too small to sit outside.

Cons: The bathroom had glass walls, with the toilet slightly tucked around a corner but not terribly private. Whilst there were blinds around two sides of the shower the whole room was still quite exposed. Breakfast was fairly standard but not great.

Pros: The hotel location to the Vela Luka port was great (5 mins walk) but food was not great. Day trip to Prozid island was a highlight. Beautiful untouched beach worth the visit - get to taxi queue early! Staff were helpful in booking this and also booking taxi to Korcula town. Comfy beds.
Cons: The same salads were displayed 3-4 times at dinner and strips of bread in tomato sauce is not a suitable side salad (in my opinion). Limited main courses and desert options at dinner. Breakfast had more choice. No warm water for showers in the room on the first night. This was not communicated to us and we just happened to notice a sign in the elevator the next day saying works were being carried out on there might be limited hot water. No block out curtains or shutters in rooms. Welcome fruit basket was part of our package and was not mentioned or received.

We arrived in of a ferry late our we and our children were tired, our hosts (Venco) made sure we were welcomed and settled in and even went out of there way to see if we needed food and drink before going to bed. Cons: We were provided with 1 key upon arrival and on the first night my husband was locked out for 3hours. The manager insists on dictating when you eat breakfast, there were so many mosquitos in the room, the aircon did not work properly,water pressure was non exisitent when showering with warm/hot water. I requested a double bed and we were provided with 2 singles pushed together. Breakfast was really poor as i mentioned before the manager needed to advise you what time you were to have breakfast (you has to eat when it suited her) furthermore the food did not match the pictures only 1 egg provided per person and one slice of cheese and salami and proccuttio and the coffee was instant coffee. Overall for for aud280 per night it was not worth the cost, in retrospect i should have listened to my husband (!!!!).

Pros: Beautiful apartment with an even better balcony right in front of the beach. The private beach is perfect for relaxing and swimming in the ocean. Irena was such a good Host and the dinner she made for us was very delicious with fresh vegetables right out of the own garden and freshly caught seafood. Irena and her Husband were very helpful and even drove us to the ferry when we had to leave the island. We had a fantastic stay!

Cons: Photos of property were well staged and missed out poor facilities in kitchen area & bathroom plus the large industrial building over the bay which was the main view from balcony. Property had feel of being run to suit the business rather than the customers.

Pros: Was welcomed really well at check in. We received a lot of useful information about Vela Luka and sorroundings. Be aware that they ask you when you want to eat breakfast since it's not a buffé where you can just show up. It felt kind of unusual but we got used to it. Breakfast was nice. They have their own sunbeds at the sea downstairs which we almost never had problem with them already being occupied. Location is not 100% BUT there is an excellent boat taxi into to central Vela Luka which departs from a bridge around 3 minutes walk from the hotel. If you don't take the boat the walk around the bay into central Vela Luka is around 30 minuntes.
Cons: In five nights our room was only cleaned once, but I think this is due to that we spent a lot of time there on our own "occupying" the room.

Pros: We were extremely pleased with our hosts who did their best to accomodate all our needs. Location is right at the riva, a two minute walk from ferry, what more can you ask for? 10/10
Cons: People complain about host grandma entering their rooms while they are away to clean. I dont see them complaining when maids do the same in hotels... so stop crying! I've seen places - some very recently - with ridiculous service and rude hosts get massive grades and was shocked to see where i've arrived. Here it is only a positive shock.

Pros: We loved staying here!! Great atmosphere, super comfortable rooms, and a really well equipped, comfy common area. The hosts (son and mother) were really welcoming and generous. The mother taught us how to prepare fish, stew and basically was always ready to help. The son was enthusiastic and sharing, letting us try some Croatian delicacies and giving great advice. Would recommend! Loved our stay.

Pros: Location in Vela Luka was good, but the town was also disappointing compared to old Korčula town. Price was cheap, but we should have asked ourselves why before booking.
Cons: The accomodation had bedbugs potential. The room was super old and disgusting, full of dust bunnies. The bathroom was rusty and dirty. The sheets might have been clean but we did not take any chances and slept on our towels. All in all the room hadn't been cleaned in a while thus we felt extremely uncomfortable. Lucikly, it was only for 1 night. I am a camping person and do not need a lot on vacation but this was the worst place we've booked so far. The previous reviews on booking was misleading being either good or very bad, so I am not sure if it depends on the room or not but ours on the top floor was awful.

Pros: The views over the bay were fantastic from the balcony and the little Ferry Boat that took you across the harbour at 5 Kn pp was really cute and very convenient.
Cons: The food was pretty utility ( we were on an all inclusive deal ) so ate out elswhere in town most evenings and lunchtimes. I think they boiled the bacon at breakfast rather than frying it. !! very insipid looking. Could do with a new chef. !!

Pros: Beach is infront of hotel, small thogh, with some shade. Water was murky, probably due to construction work near by. Beaches in near by places are much cleaner. Have diving center next door and nice beach barr in the hotel.

Pillow sheets not changed although get stained and staines were left visible on purpouse. Shower door were brocken. Afternoon coffe and cake is actually coffe and same old tea biscuits for 7days in the row. Biskits alredy crumbling. No trash bins on the beach and only one ice cream box with industrial ice cream for spoon eating with few flavors. Not enough for a lot of kids in the hotel.

Cons: The all inclusive whas not as it was stated in the booking.com conditions..The selected beverages was not available for 5days.The swimming pool was closed although it was stated that they have active swimming pool ..In the highest season of the summer they decided to close it due to painting..So please don't write what you don't have..First day of our arrival we realized that room are not ready and that they don't know about us although it was paid in advance via booking.com.We did wait for 35mintuse to clean the situation and get the room. There is people that really make the effort in this hotel..The cleaning ladies are warm and kind with excellent attitude,same with the personnel in the reception..The lady that is the Chief of bartenders and kitchen have catastrophic attitude..She thinks that she is more important the guest that pays the accommodation.. Accommodation was ok .. Parking was not in accordance with statement in booking.com.We did parked on the street not on the parking.. Beverages was for 3first days sweet weather without taste of selected drink, particularly coke that had not taste nothing close to real coke.. Don't give us poising like this, we are not idiots.. Questions is this beavreges and drinks legal since there was not any sign what is in the each pipe ..So the guest had opportunity to play each time "lucky guess" what they offer..The bar is closed in 22 in the evening and I didn't find this info on the Booking.com.By my opinion this not acceptable since my child eventually fall a sleep and I would relax myself with one or two gin tonic and there I found out that bar is closed!!!Lots of people complain on this and some of them order on 21.45 a big number of same drinks so they can stay longer on the terrace..So some of the drinks would eventually stay on the table since people didn't drink all of them and all this because of the fact that bar is close too early..

Pros: We ate only breakfast in the hotel during our stay,bread is (was) nice,tasty,definitely to recommend. Cold cut section not so good,cheaper selection of salami.Slightly fried hamburger was much better. Omelette were cold most of the time and we ate our meals 10-20 min minutes upon opening,to much quantities prepared in advance.
Cons: Parking is limited to somewhat around 30 cars-that can fit within hotel premises.The rest of parking,though advertised as free public parking ,is actually parking alongside public road which stretches around hotel area.No parking posts are marked,most probably the way parking is done is illegal as one side of the road lane is occupied by parked cars. There are no way for two cars to pass each other in that area unless one is waiting for the other car to transit.Distance from hotel to "free public parking" can be anywhere from 50 m if you are lucky or up to 300 meters if not.If you have car damage such parked for sure you can forget about not being partially or fully responsible. Some of the cars that were able to park within hotel premises were blocking hotel entrance,there was no way that you could freely pull your luggage last 20 meters from parking area to the hotel entrance as no one did anything to keep that passage clear.Same car plates obstructing it for days,clearly showing that the car was not moving from the spot. Hotel lobby/reception area is (was) not air conditioned,neither are hallways at particular floors.They keep all windows at the floor hallways ends constantly open,same is with reception area.Reception personnel uses stand alone fan to keep themselves cool.Rooms are adequately air conditioned,so the reason for the rest not being so is probably savings. During check in I was asked about payment details as, apparently, reception staff cannot access those in their scope of responsibilities,but they nevertheless ask for confirmation mail between customers and booking.com in this case so they can satisfy themselves.My name and stay details were in their hands,no confusion on that,but completely strange way or the moment for finacial inquiries. The same was happening with other people that came thru other agencies,they were asked for the same as I overheard.

Adria Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with satellite TVs and hairdryers. The Adria’s restaurant serves Mediterranean and local cuisine. Live music and an animation programme are offered on site. Hotel features all inclusive service during the meal hours at the restaurant. The all Inclusive service does include drinks at the bar and other hotel facilities. The centre of Vela Luka can be reached within 2.5 km. Famous sights such as the Vela Spila, which is one of the most important prehistoric cave dwellings in Europe, or the Austro-Hungarian Fortress from the 19th century can be seen there. Pros: The beach near the hotel is great, clean and a minute away. You can also take a walk around the hotel or take a boat to Vela Luka. Food is ok, taste is good, but servings can be better. Swimming pool is good, activities around the pool are also good. Evenings have some animation programs as well.
Cons: Hotel itself have a great location but furniture is so old, the bed is uncomfortable, noisy on every single move...., AC was working only first day of out stay...all inclusive service...is so far away from all incl....bar is open to 22.00, coffee only an hour in pm....Free WiFi ONLY in Reception area.....

Cons: Food is awful, small choice and always the same, smelly rooms (it smells of moisture), tennis courts are almost unusable and destroyed, yellow water from the pipe (warm only), far from the city...everything.

Pros: Beachfront location in a beautiful bay with panoramic view from the room. Nice pool. Taxi boat connection to the center.
Cons: You may eat & drink as much as you can, the restaurant is rather a canteen type of self service bufe. Selection as well as the quailty of food and related service are from lower end. The drink dispensers with their touch screen are annoying. Outside breakfast/lunch/dinner there is only one available for all the guests in the hotel where people typically end up waiting in a queue. It is also strange that you can’t even buy any different food or drink as there is no bar or restaurant. The entire facility as well as the garden needs maintenance.

Pros: The kitchen staff was very very friendly and assisted me and my daughter with food selection (we have coeliac disease). The pool area was great and the surrounding nature was nice.
Cons: The pool staff was very unfriendly. We found sharp, rotten nails on the children playground (and my kid was walking in flip flops!!!! - she could have easily been hurt stepping on the nails, and not to talk about tetanus!). The elevator is scary as there are no doors on the inside and you can see the levels passing by and even touch them (and get hurt!). The hotel does not look as good as on the Booking.com photos!

Please don't take All inclusive. Its just waste of money. There food was not edible. All drinks were diluted with water. Breakfast had very limited option
