Cons: This hotel has not to be according me a three star due to a smal room and poor decoration
Pros: Comfortable, good bathroom, adequate space. Courteous reception. On-site parking fine. Good location very near historic center.
Cons: Hard to know where to park when arriving.
Cons: 1st room givin was very poor
Pros: Location was excellent & room size good.
Cons: What is it with a certain type of French hotel and the en suite wc? This was another one where the wc is separate in a tiny room right next to the bed with difficulty closing the door due to knees in the way.
Pros: Good reception, easy parking, well located. Breakfast was fine and all worked very well.
Pros: This hotel is located on the river, right across from the old city center. It's a 5-minute walk to everything. The place is a normal, clean 3-star French hotel. The staff were very pleasant, and their suggestions of things to see guided us to some out-of-the-ordinary events.
Cons: No complaints at all.
Pros: Friendly staff and private parking
Cons: No mention that a code was needed to get into the hotel late in the evening
Pros: Nice hotel in very good location. Short walk to shops & bars in lovely part of old town. We were able to park off the road in a large garage at the rear which was very convenient.
Pros: Good option value-for-the-money-wise.
Pros: Staff were very pleasant, breakfast was good.Decor is probably best described as being "mixed styles";overall a pleasant experience.

Standing majestically in the heart of the Vendôme forest, this manor used to be the viscount of Rochefoucauld's base when he fancied a spot of hunting. With its ivy-covered façade, lounges brimming over with flours and shrubs, the high building seems to be trying to blend in with the natural environment. Concealed in the quiet of its two-hectare park, it provides a refuge from the hurly-burly of Paris, which is nevertheless just 40 minutes away. It shelters visitors from the stress and strain of daily life and treats them in a regal manner in particular when its time to have dinner.
Pros: Conveniently located in centre of nice town, restaurants nearby, and good countryside within easy reach.Characterful hotel, just as we remember France of old. Very friendly and welcoming owners.
Cons: No problems
Pros: The staff were very hospitable and the hotel very "homely".
Cons: No! Although the decor was a bit "tired", th value for money was excellent.
Cons: Good for the price
Pros: The hotel staff was wonderful. Parking was easy. The restaurant was great. Overall it was a great value for the money in a very cute little town.
Cons: The room smelled a bit of smoke. Also, we were there in the off season (late November) so the desk was not open 24 hours... in fact nothing was. They opened the restaurant only when we requested it. We had to have the door codes and the cell phone number of the receptionist to call for service. It wasn't really a bad thing but a bit unusual and may be difficult for travelers in the off season who don't speak French.
Pros: Hotel owner speaks perfect English! She is nice and friendly and will help in any case, if she can. I'm glad to see what a big work this family does to make this place even more nice.
Pros: The location, the area and the countryside, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was extremely good
