Old venetian decor in rooms and cleanliness. Vaparetto stop right at front door excellent for commuting around the city.
Its position , quiet yet central.
Water taxi was right outside the hotel.
So many stairs!!!
Good location. Reasonable price. Single room had balcony with tables & chairs to sit & admire view over canal.
No tea service (kettle, cups, tea/coffee) in room. TVs in rooms had no remote controls, & channel/volume buttons broken so that you can only watch 1 channel at set volume.
Clean bathroom. Quiet location away from main tourist precincts but convenient for most purposes. Relatively close to rail station and very close to Vaporetto stop.
Thin pillows and no double bed.
Location, Public boat stop
Pillows, No lift
The courstey of staff. Its vicinity to landmarks. Easily reached by boat.
The fact that there is no lift to carry luggage upstairs
Quiet, large rooms, very nice decor, intimate and very charming. Incredible value for Venice. A bit out of the way, but well worth the extra 10 minutes there.
Breakfast was very limited, even for Continental. The packaged croissants were a very bad idea!. It seemed the breakfast was understaffed as only one woman had to attend to everything. This charming hotel deserves much better breakfast service.
Nothing stood out that would make me say wow that was a good hotel.
We were put in the attic, after four flights of stairs with baggage you can imagine... The heating was on high permanantly in the bathroom. The breakfast was nothing special. The "24hr" bar specified on their facilities was rubbish as I asked for a coffee at 16:00 and was told by (a not too bothered member of staff) that the bar was for breakfast only. As there were no coffee facilities in the room even by basic standards that was bad service.
The room is confortable and proper and has no problem with hot water. Breakfast is O.K.(Buffet)
A little bit far away from the railway station or parking(20min on foot). You should take a boat. The hotel is front of a boat station.
