10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have really enjoyed staying in this hotel. This is a family hotel with very friendly atmosphere. Excellent food and hospitality !!! We have been offered numerous traditional Austrian meals. You feel a real harmony in every aspect during your stay. The small skiing resort at Vent which is located in 5 min walking distance from the property is very well maintained and we have enjoyed skiing several days. It is much cheaper than Solden but quality of slopes was better. Due to heavy snow and roads being blocked in the region, we did not manage to get to the hotel as planned and came 1 day later. Later, to our big surprise, we have noticed that we were not charged for that day !!!! That was a very good experience and we really recommend this hotel.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Discound for the ski and snowboard in the shop just next to the hotel. Plus the bus stop was just 10m away form the hotel door. Good saunas in the hotel.
Cons: The owner of the hotel, Claudia, was very bad to my fiancée,my family and me from the first day. As soon as we entered she said that she did not know about the dogs. When on 11th of october18 she answered me back via email that the cost is 10€ per night per dog. And our booking was from the 2-12 of jan19. The same night after we traveled for 6h in the snow storm and arrived at like 10-11pm, she started asking deposit which we were cool with and gave her cash for 3 rooms, but my fience wanted to pay with credit card but his card did not work for some reasons(as we got to know it was the daily limit) but anyway, we gave her 200€ cash for the room amd told her that we want to go the bank in the morning and fix it and come back to her with the money, when she started being angry and saying that if the card is not working on her machine thn the atm wont give us money neither. We gave her cash(thx, for “understanding” claudia)u are greedy person. Next day or the day after skiing my fiancée and i went to the spa and we did not know that it closes at 8pm but the cleaner came and told us to leave so we started getting dress when claudia ran into the spa and started Screaming and telling us to leave now. (Thx, for “understanding” claudia.) we left at like 8.10pm maybe. The other day my family had dinner in the hotel, and i did not go but i came down at 8pm when the restaurant was closing to see where my family is when claudia ran after me to ask me what do i want. since we went to eat in another place and were back at like around 11pm, Claudia did not see us so it followed with the question from her “when were u back last night?it was very late?” in the morning when i was leaving the hotel to ski. (Im sorry but its not ur business, if we had the converstaion before or smth but no coming to me from another side just to aks me this is very rude:( so if u want to live in the school camp , visit this hotel.+Rooms are cleaned bad. There is no “do not disturb” sign. No slippers.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts and staff, they make you feel extremely welcome and try to anticipate your needs, the food was very good and the sauna area was quite new and pleasant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love this hotel
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We liked the very friendly service, smiles, and ability to make us feel like nothing was too much trouble. The proprietors did all our laundry - including drying and folding our clothes - and offered a lovely array of gluten free options at breakfast and dinner. Food was excellent and plentiful. The hotel had fantastic boot and ski room, and they allowed us to park for a week at no extra charge. We really can't rate the hotel highly enough.
Cons: There was no tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. We would have liked to make ourselves a hot drink in the room. We generally love the Austrian bedding, as it's usually warm and high-quality; the Similaun duvets were exceptionally cosy. But the pillows were only half-filled with feathers. They weren't old but they were impossible to 'plump' and we both found it difficult to sleep because of them. These issues did not affect the enjoyment of our stay. But we wanted to share to ensure our review is balanced.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Keloids and her doubter are wonderful owner

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is my first time to stay in a family run hotel. People are warm, nice, helpful and polite. We were coming here by public transport, it was not difficult to come and the host gave us information for transportation and hiking about Vent. We were just finished our trip from Swiss and Liechtenstein. So didn’t expect too much on Vent first. But everything was out of my expectation after arrival. There many beautiful mountains nearby, most of them are over 3000m. Breakfast and dinner were included in the accommodation fee, it was reasonable price and the food was up to Michelin standard. We have tried one Michelin restaurant in Liechtenstein, I can say the dinner in the Vent Hotel Post is outstanding. You can imagine how it is value for money, unbelievable. The breakfast also very good, many fresh food. I have a wonderful impression in Austria because of the Vent Hotel Post. There are spa swimming pool, sauna and steam room, I enjoy swimming here with a beautiful mountain view. It was so relaxing for us. All the facilities are nest and tidy. They even provide a fruit and tea in sauna and steam room. The room is spacious and comfortable with a balcony. I slept well in staying 3 nights, I can enjoy the beautiful mountain view. The atmosphere is so nice and warm, a bit different from the hotel, I like all the people there, thanks for you guys warm welcoming. Thanks for the host. I have an unforgettable memories here. I hope that I can visit again in the future, I just explore 2 hiking trails this time

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Each and every staff member that I encountered was extremely helpful, polite and observant. The pool and spa area were in perfect condition. The food quality was simply outstanding and the wait staff superb. The Junior Suite was enormous and beautifully decorated in high-quality Alpine style. Sölden was only 20 minutes away by car. I was so impressed that we are now planning our annual Winter ski vacation in Ötztal and to book here. It was the perfect, quiet get-away. Don't miss out!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was super. Right next to the ski Verleih and the ski lift into skiing area Vent, which is a small area, family friendly, with open lifts where also your dog is allowed to go in! This calls for a fantastic rodel down with the whole family! Two fantastic skiing area’s (sölden and obergürgl)at 20 min drive. Parking next to the lift. Ski pas deals combinable. A great instruction deal with material and ski pass also offered. The hotel itself is as cosy as a winter holiday could be, with all kinds of classy extra’s; an exquisite spa that surprised us all, even an ice room! The pool area is just lovely and is nothing less than a fat 5 star: breathtaking view, whirlpool, underwater jet, great beds. This all comes with delicious fresh teas and fruit there to pick from. The staff in the hotel is so nice. A bottle of water left at lunch will be on your table for the breakfast again. The notice that I’m pregnant called for no wine glass on my side of the table the next days. I left my shades somewhere, and it was brought to me at breakfast. A diner that turned out to be too late for our little boy was swiftly brought up to the room with us. Many more examples, small things that leave big impressions. The diners itself were delicious! Nothing shy of 5 stars! 3 different main courses to choose from accompanied by exquisite starters and desserts on a standard day. A whole 6 course diner on a Sunday. This all with a lot of different wines and two sommeliers who could help you choose. The breakfast buffet is so complete, it even offers real honey, where to find that these days.. Last but not least; when I had a little stomach pain on an odd time, there were two doctors immediately reachable, one of which offers to come to the hotel, emergency services right there for you: a safe feeling.
Cons: I’m thinking and I’m thinking... nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a comfortable, friendly and professional family run hotel. The food was amazing, the rooms comfortable and the spa was a treat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the environment, the food, the accommodation: all perfect! Even the local (small) ski area is very nice to ski for all levels of expertise.
Cons: There is 1 road to Vent, which is blocked now and then by snow or rocks: gives the opportunity to enjoy longer Vent :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel post is just perfect
Cons: The pillows a little too soft but such a small thing , this is all I could suggest being changed .

Hotel Macun - Vent - Lobby
7
9.2 Excellent (90 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Over the centuries, the peaceful place Vent was influenced by nature and history. Surrounded by impressive summits of 3000 meters, an untouched landscape and crystal- clear air, you will enjoy the unique alpine nature. We, Mallorie and Pirmin, are a young and open-minded couple whose passion was it, to travel around the world. Having experienced important career steps as sales manager of exclusive products, graduated head chef and junior sommelier, we have been able to gain precious personal, professional and international skills. Our services smoothly integrate not only into Vent’s landscape, but also into its infrastructure. It offers you the possibility to use offerings of adjacent villages like Sölden and Obergurgl. Sustainability is an important issue to us and the growing requirements of a “new” generation of guests, especially in ecological terms, have been carefully respected in our concept. At this point we would also like to emphasize the importance of a mutual communication with our guests. Our hotel provides the offering of high-quality products, dishes of international cuisine, a warm atmosphere and comfortable and quiet guestrooms. Hotel Macun in Vent – 1.907 meters beyond routine. We love to take care of your holiday!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy beds (although annoying that our children had to share a double as two singles would have been much nicer). As a result we didnt get much sleep as our 3 year old twins don't settle in a shared bed. Spacious rooms. Nice location with views over mountains.
Cons: We asked for a kettle in our room as we like to drink tea quite a lot! This request was refused and we were told we could buy tea as we wanted it. However, we didn't find it nice or affordable to order tea every couple of hours! We were expecting a kettle in our room and would have really really appreciated this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Individual attention wonderful, great scenery, super chief, friendly in a classical environment
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have a really relaxing time and enjoyed our short stay immensely. The combination of our our very comfortable and quiet room and a wonderful breakfast was rounded off by a fantastic dinner. We will definitely stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place! The couple who run it are super friendly and happy to go out of their way to help. I had one of the renovated rooms which was beautiful and very functional. Bed was incredibly comfortable, steam room in the spa was fab, and the breakfast was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable, the view is wonderful. The breakfast and coffee is perfect. And the al a carte dinner is delicious. Spa area is well-equipped with sauna and aromatherapy room for some relaxing moments. The team is really friendly and helpful. This was the best choice for staying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We chose this lovely hotel for team building skiing trip in Sölden (14 people). The place is run by wonderful young couple Mallorie and Pirmin. They both know exactly what to do to make customer feel special. From the very beggining their communication was exemplary, even seemingly unnecesary phone call prior to our arrival makes you feel wanted and welcome. Not mentioning active WhatsApp communication about imminent weather threats. Their cuisine is exceptional. Pirmin is experienced and successful chef and everything we tasted was delicious. Nothing compared to what you get in most places like this. They have big plans with further renovation and I am sure it will be success because of their commom enthusiasm and unique attitude.
Cons: Our stay was too short ;)
7.1 Good
Pros: The beds were really comfortable, the hotel is clean and staff is friendly.
Cons: The hotel is not very children friendly, they did create a children’s menu after we complained that there was no food for our kids which was very nice but I think 16€ for some chicken nuggets and an ice cream scoop is a bit too much. There is no area where families can sit an play board games or so, just the restaurant but the tables are small and not so good for this purposes. If you are a couple traveling alone maybe it is a good place to stay. For us, even though the chef is cooking good meals with several courses it is a bit too much for everyday. Of course it is nice to have a good dinner but we were ten days there and we would be happier with simpler options as well.

Pros: The suite was awesome, newly refurbished with separate kids alcove bedroom. The facilities are excellent, in probably the best location in Vent next door to the ski lift, apres ski bar and supermarket.
Cons: The breakfast is great, while the half board dinner although decent only meets the expectation for the extra menu of a pizzeria.

Pros: Food was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: Nothing
