nothing, I was overbooked, they "upgraded" to some Mercure, which was poor, bad experience
the attitude of the staff: they don't realize what this means after a you drive a whole day and come with high expectations since we had good experience with andel's berlin. I don't need excuse, but try hard to see it from your customers perspective.
I just came in, had dinner and went to bed
Beds are very comfortable
Service at Restaurant, very slow, not friendly
Excellent Hotel, Clean, value of money, with create staff. Very good location, close to the center
it was fair..thats it..nor superb nor too poor
the brakfast was poor for austria, the location- very said district
I booked superior double (twin) room in this hotel for my friend and me for a 3 nights. We were in Vienna for a 4 days city break, visiting opera etc. I booked this hotel because it is close to the South train station and is almost brand new 4 star. Also, the rate was ok. Everything was great, room and the bathroom big enough and almost soundproof, tea making facilities in the room, AC/heating, flat TV. Everything is new so you can not feel the smell of the dust or humidity. Breakfast is served in a nice restaurant Verde, selection is ok. Supermarket is next to the hotel, tram station is 3 minutes walking distance, bus station is in front of the hotel. Center of the city can be reached in approximately 7-10 minutes
There is nothing in particular negative about the hotel. One should know only that there is a construction sight nearby the tram station. Also, cemetery in quite close to the hotel, but I learned about it on my last day of staying. It is not inconvenient at all.
modern rooms, large tv, quiet area, easy access to mass transport facilities
Friendly staff and a clean room
I paid 230 euro's for one night in a room that even did not have an iron & iron board, although staff was helpful and despite my late arrival, everything was done (for free) by 9 am next morning. They explained that there was no iron due to fire regulations in Vienna; strange because other hotels just do have an iron in a room. Price was really over the top;
Excellent hotel, excellent staff, excellent location.
There must be at least one chair per room
The hotel is new and clean and tastefully decorated in a modern style. It has a good restaurant/bar (Verde) and my stay included a complimentary buffet breakfast. My room was air conditioned and had a flat screen TV. The lobby has two iMacs available for Internet use. All the staff is very helpful and friendly, a notable feature of this hotel.
There is no free WiFi Internet in the standard rooms and no bedside alarm clock. The restaurant's outdoor terrace only has a view of the parking lot. The U-Bahn stop is a 15 minute walk, which was usually fine but could be inconvenient for quick round trips or in bad weather. If you're a tourist a hotel in the city center might be more scenic.
