4.6 Okay
Pros: The property is in a moderately good location, and the room was adequate. Shower was decent.
Cons: You can't use the kitchen as people cook constantly from day to night. So go prepared not to use this and spend lots on reataurants. WiFi was fairly non existent for the whole week. Just a few moments a day if we were lucky. It's very noisy at the weekend as well both at night and in the morning. The first room we were in had broken air con. The second room was smaller but air con worked and it was better. The rooom was never cleaned and the bin never emptied. The staff were not helpful on anything. Very expensive for what it is and no internet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was perfect for us! Clean, comfortable and quiet and nicely situated.
Cons: It didn’t have hot water, but after some very hot days with lots of hiking and beaching it was perfect for us.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good kitchen For travelers. Good loaction.
Cons: The room was pretty small and uncomfy. We booked A room For 4 people and inside the room was 5 beds. We asked to remove the extra bed but the guy in the reception said its not gonna happen.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is really good, also, there’s cold water available which is nice. The place is welcoming and staff was good.
Cons: We were a group of 4 and the bedroom was small. Bathroom had a good size. The bunker bed didn’t have stairs so the person had to climb the bed.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Dishonest business. We reserved a tent for four nights. Upon a arrival we were told we only had a site in the campsite and that a tent was extra money. This is despite clearly reserving a tent which was even shown as such in the photos. Other than this facilities and cleanliness were Basic.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything you need Clean, simple room Perfect location - 2 mins to main pier
Cons: Awful WiFi
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: -
Cons: We had to wait an hour to check in, while ariving at a normal time (14:00). Called two times and still did not come. Also didn't appoligize for it! Kitchen was really dirty and almost no powerstations in the room. Bed was made of plastic.

7.9 Good
Pros: It’s a very nice quiet place. The room are quite big. And the breakfast is fantastic. The location in town I tought was perfect, central and relaxed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good room, comfortable bed and the best shower I’ve had in South America with piping hot water. Fan and aircon in the room although we didn’t use/need latter. Very good breakfast, fresh and lots of choice. Lovely location but also quiet. Beautiful garden setting for the rooms as well. Also after check out you can leave luggage and then return and use shower/towels which is so convenient and let’s you make the most of your last day if you have a late transfer/bus. Nice family and some of them speak English which is helpful. Would 100% stay again. We loved it and also the island.
Cons: The plug sockets are different to Rio, not the guest house’s fault but be aware. None of our plugs worked in these sockets. They kindly lent us several adaptors but only one worked which we rotated between three of us. WiFi not great but think this is an island problem rather than the guest house.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The attentive staff, nice facilities, a comfortable room and a beautiful garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great attention. The staff was very kind and the overall place was really nice
8.0 Excellent

Cons: Payment process could be improved.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful, no queries or requests were seen as a problem. The breakfast was really great - we stayed for 4 nights and it was varied, not repetitive at all. The grounds are beautiful and maintained daily. The chalet itself was great and cleaned to a high standard. The location is good, the walk to the main area was quick but not so close that you could hear lots of noise (we were there over a national holiday so there were lots of people on the island for parties!). The Pousada had its own trolley system (manned by staff) to carry suitcases to the ferry (great for us as we were on a long trip and had a few bags), which saved us having to contact someone in advance. We had quite a late ferry crossing booked but could keep our bags on the premises and relax in the grounds after we checked out which was a bonus.
Cons: It's difficult to think of what I didn't like - so instead is a small suggestion; if there could be an option to keep the same towels for the next day to save on washing that would be great - but the pousada is pretty ecologically aware and environmentally-friendly in lots of other ways so this is a minor comment.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and the jungle feeling, all the staff were very friendly and breakfast had loads of choice.
Cons: We had the 2 bed chalet, horrible smell in the room, very dark and wobbly old bunk beds. Didn’t want to spend any time in the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the atmosphere. It’s like a small tropical garden with that cute chalets. Breakfast is really good and eggs are prepared fresh upon request. The chalets are cozy. We would def. recommend this Pousada and will come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tropical rainforest view

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really nice rooms loved the outside area
Cons: Kitchen could be better equipped and a bit cleaner. The woman was really nice but the younger guy wasn’t too friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Only a few minutes from the main road. I enjoyed the silence, nice bath and shower, comfortable bed and a kitchen if you want to prepare your own food.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing ! So helpful and considerate . My friend and I were sick the first day we got there. We were not able to walk back to the grocery store and the staff helped us. They recommended how to get to our next destination and made sure we were ok the whole time we were there. The place is quiet and has everything you need. I loved the artsy diy decorations.
Cons: Only cons about the room was how hot it got during the night and wifi didn't work well in the room but it worked perfectly in the common area.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The size of the room was fine for the three of us. Also the woman who had received us was nice and spoke to us well when we needed help.
Cons: Only on entering the room did not smell so fresh. We had booked three nights and have been without internet all those days. On arrival we had immediately indicated that we wanted to extend our days by two days. It was indicated that this was fine. We also checked the days that followed if we could stay longer. On the day we actually had to check out we asked again if we could stay longer and this was not a problem. 1 hour later they announced that we had to leave because they got a booking and no rooms were left. They did not come up with a solution themselves and we had to look for another accommodation. This is no way you treat your guests. It's a shame it had to end this way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful stay and very sweet and helpful staff! Highly recommend this place!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s super clean and the hosts are super nice
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised with this little hostel, it's cheap but really nice. Rooms are a good size, comfortable, and cleaned every day. Theres a hammock on the terrace for each room, plus a small kitchen and dining area. Staff are friendly and it's only a short walk into town for restaurants, bars and beaches. No air con but we had a roof fan and a standing one too which was good enough!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for a Vila Abraão stay
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were spacious and very clean. Lots of amenities. Great location.
Cons: Power went out a couple of times for a few seconds. Some staff members could be more friendly and enthusiastic. Breakfast was ok.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Very good buffet breakfast that could be eaten overlooking the bay. Fresh squeezed juices, made to order eggs and tapioca, good breads, cold cuts, cheese, hot sausages and bacon and beautiful cakes. There was a toaster and toasted sandwich maker that you could use.
Cons: No umbrellas and no bar or restaurant and the sauna was only open for 2 hours a day.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing, taxi boats will take you back almost to the door of the hotel. The facilities are kept clean and pool towels are provided as needed. Breakfast was amazon. Don't miss out on the tapioca. The rooms are spacious and the garden is kept tidy.
Cons: Beware, if you want a very quiet place you might want to book outside of Vila do Abraao. This hotel is located right where thing happen in Abraao. You will be able to hear the sound of music and drums from the main square if you stay. Although the place is very quiet, the loud noises from the town are heard clearly but not loudly. If you close the windows and curtains it should be fine (at least for me).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hosts. Wonderful beach and water view. Nice breakfast.
Cons: Ground floor room so if enjoying the view less privacy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were excellent, supplying GF biscuits and allowing us to hang out when it was raining. Room faced the beach and was very clean.
Cons: It was expensive for what it was and the breakfast provided didn’t reflect the cost either.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great - it’s quiet as you are outside of the centre but within a 5 minute walk along the beach or under 10 by the roads you are by all the restaurants and shops. The view from our room was magical. The breakfast is one of the best we have had since being in Brazil - they offer freshly scrambled eggs for you and you can have as many eggs as you would like! Staff are very friendly and helpful, sometimes there was a language barrier but nothing google translate couldn’t sort out!! Highly recommend this Pousada - if possible get an ocean view room and you will not be disappointed!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Perfect location on beachside
Cons: The staff spent hours chatting by night and we couldn't sleep until midnight, unacceptable. Don't choose this structure if you have trolleys as it is 600mt far from the pier and you have to cross the beach to reach the pousada.
7.9 Good
Pros: breakfast was very good with a varied selection of fresh fruit and food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very well located, very friendly staff that helped us to pick up the best tours and still managed for the boat to pick us up right in front the place. Great breakfast as well!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: your only minutes away from where the life is on IG but you are... Absolute lovely place
Cons: nix
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was nice, clean and has had a nice sea view. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff
Cons: Hotel could only been entered via beach which makes it a bit difficult if you have luggage. Chair for the balcony would have been good.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and quiet location. Perfect for relaxing. There was a mosquito net in the window, which is what you need on this island.
Cons: Rooms is very small if you bring big suitcases. And only one person can be in the bathroom at once because its too tiny.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly friendly staff and really good breakfast! Ilha Grande is an expensive place to visit so we felt this place gave you good value for money compared to other options. Also allowed us to borrow beach towels and snorkelling equipment for the week free of charge.
Cons: WiFi wasn’t that fast but not a problem when you’re on an island with so much to do!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cute little pousada, well situated close to the beach walk in Abraão but still far enough that you don't get disturbed by any noise when trying to sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Easy to hike from Abraão to nice beaches on the island.
Cons: A bit expensive considering the simplicity of the pousada, but I guess you pay for the location. There was a sign in the bathroom to please help the planet by not throwing your towels on the ground if you didn't need new ones, so I didn't, but I still got a new towel. Just felt a bit unnecessary. The AC in the room was a bit loud, but not really a problem either.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: super nice and hospitable staff Very funny and welcoming colorful design Amazing breakfast perfect price-performance ratio
Cons: you can't really stay long inside bc it's tiny
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Personal was amazing and really friendly, great vibe breakfast and location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The guesthouse was so cute and in an amazing location! The table and chairs outside our room was a nice touch as we could have a few beers and play a game of cards there before heading out. 2min away from the pier The rooms are comfortable and very clean. We only booked two nights here, and we were very sad to leave.
Cons: Nothing
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Good location... Quirky front garden. Nice breakfast. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Poor welcome... Was on the phone did not welcome us. Room was small and cluttered. Badly furnished with an old, mixture of poor quality bedding. Bathroom sink was not fixed to wall on one side. Possibly it would fall off. Rusty soap rack in shower. The outside light was on all night which made sleeping difficult. To be honest we were disappointed. The property lack a sense of love and pride. We have stayed in budget accommodation before and loved it.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very pretty decor, & the rooms are comfy. Love the paint job & garden!
Cons: Well, manager not there very often. Is only weird old guy who doesn't know anything about the island. Hotel (& everything else ) is jammed in too tight...very claustrophobic !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and the staff were both friendly and professional. Breakfast also had a good variety of food available. Our stay was rather easy going and pleasant - I’d recommend it.
Cons: N/A
Cabanas Paraíso - Vila do Abraao - Beach

8.1 Excellent (287 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you a stay at Cabanas Paraíso in Ilha Grande, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Brava Beach and Palmas Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, laundry facilities, and a library.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location is really beautiful. It’s a secluded beach and if there are not many people at the hotel (especially if there aren’t any kids) it could be quite peaceful.
Cons: Because there’s nothing else but the hotel you are stuck with eating there at night. Restaurant serves a limited range of food and none of it is good. It’s overpriced especially for what you get. AC works only at night, which is OK because energy runs on a generator... but... AC equipment is extremly noisy and you can hear the generator as well, so instead of listening to the waves you hear machines
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cabins were very simple and very nice. Perfect for an island getaway. Private beach right outside the cabin was great. The food was really nice too
Cons: It rained whilst we were there, which is not their fault, but it made all the tap water brown and smelly
7.0 Good
Pros: The location and beach is beautiful.
Cons: We paid a very high price for a luxury cabana, which smelled like mold, right next to the toilets (smelly) and next to a very noisy generator, which never stopped. The mold smell came from the bed, we learned, as it was covered in mold underneath.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nature of the place ,.can't go wrong with island But miss sold ....
Cons: Basically we contacted the place days before arrival to let them know we would arrive a couple of days later ( due to family issues)..I rang 2 days in a row to only get through eventually 3 days later. (Direct contact seems very difficult and discontinued..they don't always answer the phone). No other means of contact exists btw. Upon arrival the room we were given was not what we had expected. It was dark..not by the sea (as shown in the pictures when we booked) and damp. Because we changed our booking from the 9_15 to the 11_16 we asked to be upgraded. They not only charged the full booking (six nights)claiming booking.com charges commission regardless but also refused to up grade us unless we paid extra for the room we wanted to move to . (May I say there were plenty of rooms empty). My partner was so upset that eventually she upgraded for the last 2'nighrs .(14\15). (I understand the need to charge commission for a full booking but we stayed a night less. That difference should have been refunded or paid towards the upgrade - less the commission which should have been 20 per cent per daily rate. Daily rate was 400 reais ) We paid an extra 260 reais for a two night upgrade) and paid a total of 2400 reais for six nights having only stayed 5 plus upgrade... The hostess is if anything umpleasant...does not talk to guests directly but sends her naive staff and when I asked for a full receipt of the full booking and upgrade and dates we actually stayed at the premises I was told it would be sent by email ( and was asked for my email) as the hostess did not have time then to provide me with this information, which is rightfully mine. She was busy playing with a camera drone. Thing we found extremely unpleasant and intrusive in a private beach per say ... All I want to say is that my partner books frequently through booking.com and such situation has never happened. The hostess"s inability to be flexible and honest is slightly worrying.
6.7 Good
Pros: Perfect location, private beach. Good food, very friendly staff.
Cons: Very dark and damp rooms, no love for guests, WIFI is there but it’s a joke - rarely works - and when it does, count 2h to send a photo. Although employees were very friendly, the general attitude of the owner was unpleasant and not welcoming. We did not feel respected.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simplicity / nature / beauty / privacy / attendance / hospitality
7.5 Good
Pros: If you want to get away from the crowd on Ilha Grande, this is THE place to be. The location is amazing and the cabanas are right on the beach. The staff is super friendly. The welcome drink, one free transfer to abrao and goodbye/travel goody bag were super nice. The price/quality ratio is great.
Cons: Even though the staff was friendly, only one staff member spoke English. The shared bathroom area wasn’t super clean. The food was a bit too salty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really friendly!!

Pros: Situated in beautiful gardens 10 minutes from the busy pier area of Abraão. Very peaceful and relaxing surroundings. The host was friendly and happy to give advice on good places to eat or walking trails nearby. The room was perfectly adequate, clean and with air con. The shower room was a bit tight but that is just a small detail. The host advised that this room will be upgraded soon however I would be happy to stay there again anytime. Lovely buffet breakfast. A most pleasant stay.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The breakfast is awesome! Exquisit and exotic fresh Fruits, bread, scrabble eggs, cheese, good coffee and every day a new super delicious cake. Location is just meters away from the tropical forest and 5-8 minutes walking to the beach. My girlfriend and i had a great time and would stay here again.
Cons: Everything just perfect!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Albatroz Pousado is a terrific pousada owned and managed by a very competent sister (Danielle) and brother (Bruno) team who alternate at the Pousada. They have invested in upgrading the physical installations, and plan to continue to do so. The newer rooms have brand new air-conditioners and overhead fans and small refrigerators and plenty of electrical outlets for your kids to recharge their digital devices. The walk to the Pousada is relatively short walk from the pier and center of the Vila de Abraão on a packed sand road culminating in a modest incline up a stone paved road. Those with heavy luggage might want to hire one of the many "carreteiros" to transport your suitcases up the the pousada. Coming down is relatively easy. Breakfast is very good (as previous reviewers have noted). There are plenty of hammocks to rest on amid the nicely landscaped grounds (lot of bromelia). There is also a communal kitchen and refrigerator for those who want to prepare some meals or snacks at the Pousada. Danielle's suggestion to hike to the natural pool (Poção - Trail T1) was appreciated.
Cons: Our 4 day -three night stay at the Pousada was perfect; there really wasn't anything to criticize.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean, cosy place surrounded by jungle. As we had some rainy days we really enjoyed the hammocks and that the room was spacious to relax in. Breakfast was good with yoghurt and fresh fruits although also only some really white bread. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: The bread and the juice at the breakfast weren’t the best

Pros: Ricardo could not have been nicer and very accommodating. He provide us with plenty of information and was great company also. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Perfect location just a few minutes walk from the main part of Abrao.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is very good. In the middle of the island but still not in the heart where there is a lot of hustle and bustle. This property is family run, and one can observe the cleanliness, small details in both aesthetics and breakfast preparation. A big thank you goes to the owner who was like our dad, he worried when one of us got slightly sick and went out of his way to change our boat ticket to save us money and time when we told him that we were going to Rio. (Change of port) Another great detail is that they have a public shower which we could use after checking out of the room. This is great as one can spend more time on the island and also save money. Both father and son speak very good English and appreciate learning new words :)
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host here was so kind and helpful. Unfortunately we had a bereavement back home and he was really sympathetic and helped us to change our plans so we could get home quickly. The breakfast was also great! The location is good, 5 minutes walking to restaurants and shops but nice and quiet so you can sleep well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Netflix in the rooms. Hot shower, air conditioner. Very very pleasure host. Made really good breakfast for us. Nice and quiet inn.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The garden

Pros: The cachoeira on property and plants were nice. Owners were friendly. Rooms were clean.
Cons: Bugs around us at breakfast were very annoying. Beds were not comfortable, pillows not comfortable. Very basic.

Pros: Lovely place to stay on the island! Really nice room, one of the best we've stayed whilst being in SA. There is a really nice outdoor setting with tables and chairs, the kettle and toaster is outside too so we could sit and eat breakfast in mornings. Big well equipped kitchen for cooking, it's only 5 min walk to beach, very clean and comfy and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend this place!

Cons: No sitting area outside the rooms
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean rooms. Not huge but big enough! Great Location. Good breakfast.
Cons: As other reviews have said - rooms are not particularly sound proof. Our shower was hot and nice although very touchy - I could have said something to management but did not feel like packing up our bags and moving to another room if that was the case.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Right at the sea in the south beautiful views. Owner was so nice to change our date one day foreward so we could profit from a really nice sunny stay. rooms were comfortable and breakfast was delicious.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and the location
Cons: The room
5.0 Okay
Pros: The property is in a very good location, the rooms were very spacious and the breakfast was simple but very tasty, with a few Brazilian delicacies and a nice coffee.
Cons: Don't get me wrong, the property was generally fine and the staff member who did my check-in was great (I think his name is Lucas), the kitchen ladies also fine. However, the manager/owner, is the most unpolite person I came across in a very long time. Since the property is in an island, most of them have generators to cover power cuts and the one in this property was very loud and our bedroom was right in front of it which we didn't know until time to go to bed. When my boyfriend (who doesn't speak English) tried to speak to the manager/owner he was so patronised by him rather than receiving a response on why was so noisy and if there was anything that could be done. This guy simply switches off the whole generator to show 'what would happen if they turn off' which was not what my boyfriend requested, or wanted. He simply asked what was the noise and if there was anything that could be done. When I tried to understand what was happening, he was extremely rude, and literally walked off when I was talking to him! Never in my life and after staying in hundreds of hotels (I work in the travel industry!!) I was treated like that. Basically, no Customer Service manners, no empathy, nothing! When I mentioned I was going to make a complaint, he just scoffed as if 'who cares'. Eventually, after we went back to the room and started getting changed, he came back with a key for another room which we took it. I just don't understand why this guy couldn't just speak properly and provide the same outcome, without all the patronising, rudeness and scoffing!

5.0 Okay
Pros: Very friendly employees the all time from the moment we enter the hotel until we left and the hotel is very clean

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top-Location, Top Atmosphere, Top Staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved EVERYTHING about this place. The service from staff was so lovely, gorgeous location & they cater for everything you could need or want. We stayed in room 5 which is separate from the others & was very private. Very comfortable bed & L’occitane toiletries in the bathroom. The power goes off at 11.30pm (only if temp is below 24 degrees) & they provide bedside torches. We had a LOT of rain but was still such a lovely place, didn’t spoil our visit at all. The food was delicious! All of the staff were excellent, service was spot on & they provide lots of help & info on what to do. We went kayaking & snorkeling which was so much fun, they have everything you need, even beach towels. They arranged a private transfer from Rio for us, & then return to Buzios, which was fab. The boat journey is a bit choppy but fun!Would definitely recommend.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is just perfect! The posada was ultra clean eventhough its right on the edge of the jungle and really in nature. Extraordinary views and delicious food. Sooo remote that in the morning and evening you almost have a private beach.
Cons: I really have nothing I didn't like. The only thing that is good know is that for surfing it might be nice to bring your own board, but down the beach on lopes Mendes (which is perfect for surfing and only a 15 min hike) there's the possibility to rent boards from 11 when the other tourists start to arrive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant staff, great food and unbelievable spot. A slice of paradise.

7.0 Good
Pros: Juliana was very nice and helpful, even helped us booking our transport to Paraty. The location and surrounding of the hostel were relaxing and beautiful. The bed was confortable and the breakfast was good.
Cons: Either the windows and/ or the bed should have a mosquito net. It's impossible to get fresh air in the room without this and I got bitten a lot. I could not regulate the shower temperature but this was not a problem for me.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host is very kind. Even if we did not speak the same language, she made us feeling really confortable and helped in organizing our days in the island. The place is really cozy and nice. I fully recommend it!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best hostel on the island, and I tried a few! Friendly helpful staff with a range of languages. Great, big, buffet breakfast. Cool, spacious room. Clean, warm powerful shower. Friendly, sociable atmosphere...ended up on day trips and out for dinner with a few fellow guests.
Cons: A little further from the centre than some places, but only a few minutes' walk, don't be put off...it's also on the path to one of the best hikes on the island, do you get a head start!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Very comfortable beds Nice bathroom Big bedroom Big common area Really recommend it!
Cons: The girl from breakfast doesn't treat guests like they should be treated. She is the only unfriendly person in this hostel - all others are very nice. Many guests were making such a mess in the kitchen - the stuff should take more attention of it to avoid this.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good - lots of options, nice bread rolls and cakes!
Cons: The steps on the bunk beds were very uncomfortable - it hurt getting up to the top bunk!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A well maintained hostel with good facilities and friendly staff. Toilets and showers were modern and clean. That's a big plus, not to be taken for granted in Brazil. Plenty of hot water. Some hostels just have good atmosphere. I know it's subjective. Anyway, I felt like it is built in a way that encourages socializing (check the dining area) and I love hostels that has this energy. One last thing that I liked is a kitchen that you can use to cook your own food. Had a great time!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: - Very clean - Comfortable bed and pillow, AC temperature was good (not cold) - The design of separating toilet/shower/wash basins are very helpful, we never had to fight for bathroom with roommates - There was a safe in each locker, felt so secured to leave the valuables in the hostel - Quiet at night, not a party hostel - Staff was really nice! - Spacious common area
Cons: - The breakfast-not-for-taking-away policy was too strict, it’s like monitoring the guests
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place well kept very professional.
Cons: No soap like so many other hostels in South America. This is hostel for people who want to chill because there is a strictly no partying policy!
