10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was traveling with a friend through the Rias Baixas area of Galicia and we spent two nights here. It was absolutely amazing. A lovely, peaceful and relaxing setting with a very comfortable room and delicious breakfast — even made gluten free for us. The owners were beyond friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in a second.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, clean and the owners are very friendly.
Cons: It’s a bit distant from the center and upper the hill. A cab is a good solution.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place, spotlessly clean, lovely people
Cons: Slightly off the beaten track
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a rural accommodation, it's a renovated farm. The facilities are modern and they have a pair of burros.
Cons: The elevation gain at the end of out walk was not something we would have planned. Going back down the next morning was easy though.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pretty room in a restored old farmhouse at the edge of the village. Very quiet location. The perfect place to relax. Friendly owner and excellent breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is amazing. There is a main house and from that leads a short path to our apartment. Two bedrooms, bath, fully-equipped kitchen (which we didn't use) fireplace, dining/llving room. On going outside one had beautiful sitting areas that exuded peace and tranquility. The property has a lot of history (going back to the late 1600's) but everything inside is modern and comfortable. The hosts, Anna and Xurxo were delightful. They prepared a sinner for us and breakfast the following morning. It was delicious and elegantly but simply served. As we were hiking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, they came down to the main road and picked us up as their place wouldn't be easily found (I don't think) but we had no trouble finding the road again the next morning. Three of us shared the apartment and we're all in agreement that this was one of our nicest stays in Spain.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just about everything. The host Jorge & Anna were really nice, the location nestled in the hills with the ocean so close by, the room was well appointed, the breakfast hearty...
Cons: There was nothing not to like about the place

Pros: Really comfortable and very authentic old beautiful building beautifully restored
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a beautiful place and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good. If we had traveled by car, it would have been fine. However the owner had to drive us to a restaurant and it was not a restaurant of our choosing. It was quite expensive.
Cons: Location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were amazing! The breakfast was out of this world.

Pros: Best stay on our way to Santiago. Very warm welcome after a rainy day. Rooms were very comfty and we got help in every way (drying our all over wet clothes, ordering pizza for not need to go out in the rain again and perfect advice for our tour the next day). 9.6 Excellent
Pros: The house was lovely as were the views. Our hostess was lovely
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely the best property we stayed in all through our camino. Service was top-notch and beyond whatever we could have expected. Breakfast was very good too, with cakes baked on-site, which made the place smell so lovely in whenever there was baking going on in the kitchen. The bed we had was so comfortable and the entire hotel was nice and cosy. The bathroom was also pretty big. We want to go back and just spend a whole week in Baiona relaxing at Casa do Marques with our entire family!
Cons: Wi-fi, but it was spotty all over Galicia, so the hotel cannot be blamed for that. Be careful with the shower water coming out of the shower, though. It could get through the bathroom door and into the room if you're not careful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful. Great location. Very clean. Lovely early breakfast left out for us. Great location for the camino
Cons: No lift but staff carried cases up
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff. Fantastic breakfast with all offered food of the very highest quality. Absolutely no short cuts or cheap substitutes. They even arranged for laundry to be collected and returned for a very reasonable price. A fabulous place to relax
Cons: A reasonable walk out of the heart of the town would be my only niggle. But an excellent restaurant and shops very close by

Pros: Close to the Camino route. Very clean rooms, great breakfast, and welcoming and helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent host. Loved having the laundry next door as we were walking the Camino in the rain!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We felt treated like king and queen, yet we were just a few very tire pilgrims that had been on the Camiño since 7 am. Checking in an hour early didn’t seem a problem at all, fast and easy and the owner is very personable and speaks good English. He gave us a room with a private balcony, of which there seemed to be only 2, with 2 comfy patio chairs and a dining table with 2 chairs. We picked up some supplies at night and had a bread and wine meal on our balcony. Since the weather was superb (27) we went to the beach an easy stroll away (about 500 meters from the hotel) Also, the hotel has a great private and shady outdoor space with a hammock and bungee chair. Restaurant are within a 0 to 300 meter radius. Hotel is right in the centre of Ramalossa. Breakfast was included and was served at our table by the owner himself. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel and the owner. It was truly the best experience one could have.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What we enjoyed the most was our very considerate host. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Alberto was an excellent host. The lavenderia was next door and the hotel was well located.

Talaso Atlantico - Mougás - Building

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about our stay at Talaso Atlantico, but particularly the amazing spa pool and massages (especially recommend Shiatsu and Ayurvedic massages, but all were enjoyable and the practitioners were very professional and considerate). The rooms are well appointed, with comfortable beds, so we slept very well. Loved the shower (which has a special shower head). The food was top-notch, in taste as well as done with flair and brilliant presentation. Some dishes can be made by request, if they are not on the menu. Great breakfasts, especially the orange juice (which is freshly squeezed there and then), the rice puddings and the scrambled egg. All the staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful, even though we speak virtually no Spanish. We had to change the times of one of our massages, and the therapy centre staff were very accomodating as well as friendly and helpful, in fact this place has staff who seemed genuinely friendly (not just putting on a mask, like so many places). That made a difference to us, to be able to connect with real people who seemed happy. We really loved the spa pool, which was such a treat like we have never experienced before; the power of some of those jets is phenomenal. Our room (room 306) is recommended, as it had a balcony with an awesome view over the Atlantic Ocean (perfect to see the sunset) and was at the end, so it is better than the adjacent ones. Car parking is free and plentiful. It's a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood, but not far from Baiona, which has sandy beaches and various shops, including a Carrefour supermarket if you need some supplies.
Cons: We stayed on an all-inclusive basis, but this only semi-worked, as we are both vegetarians and there was not much we could eat (apart from at breakfast). There is a new menu daily for lunches and dinner (the same menu for both), but there is a limited choice available (luckily we are not vegans, as that would have been even harder). It would be good to see more awareness in this area, and we did end up having to eat cheeses etc that were probably not ok for vegetarians, but there was a language barrier to talk very much about this. Another thing we didn't like was the closure of the spa and treatments for part of the afternoon, as it made it hard to get in there as much as we wanted to.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean spa hotel, spacious rooms, great breakfast, nice outdoor pool and indoor spa facilities are ok though always crowded
Cons: The hotel is not flexible at all in terms of early check-in; we arrived at 2 pm and had to wait till 4 pm to check-in. Also keep in mind that their breakfast starts at 8 am on weekend, though a reception lady told us it was 7:30..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a very good hotel , every year we make a stop here . The facilities are excellent, rooms clean and spacious and breakfast top. Ideal if you have a car and you want to explore the region. It is very quite with good beds , so you can really rest. We also tried the SPA and we were super happy, very professional staff.
Cons: The area surrounding the hotel could have been better and you need a car to move around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast buffet, incredible ocean view.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful sea views, amazing food and friendly staff as well as good spa facilities
Cons: It’s a shame you are charged to use the spa pool even if you have a treatment
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Salt water pools were terrific: do not pass on the opportunity. Ocean views were pleasant. Staff was AMAZING: friendly, helpful, spoke much better English than my Spanish, and the front desk was staffed seemingly 24/7. Restaurant was excellent and the breakfast buffet was bountiful and offered more than I could have asked for.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Clean private room with shower and sink. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Paid a bit extra to have a private room, but might as well have stayed in a dormitory room due to the noise. 4.6 Okay
Pros: The room was comfortable and had a bathtub
Cons: This was the worst experience during the caminho. The hotel is bad organized and unfortunately i have to say, that the staff is unfriendly. When checking in i asked if there is a possibility to get a breakfast. i got asked at which time and was given a vocal confirmation. when going down at 8.30 in the morning i felt like i am a big stress factor and was told that breakfast starts at 10 am. after being asked about my room number suddenly it was ok and i got an orange juice, a coffee and a croissant for 4 €. i read in a few comments that generally breakfast in spain is quite poor. i guess if the kindness was there i would not even complain, but as i felt not welcomed here i am doing so.. Also there was no one at the reception after i checked in and i was left alone with any questions/problems. i felt very embarrassed to ask the guys at the bar, which is not belonging to the hotel, as i found out later. Internet was not working for a couple of hours and there was a huge noise outside (room was situated to the back) and inside, from guests coming in after midnight and talking very loud in the corridor..

Pros: Great hotel set a little further away from the main bars and restaurants but only 15 minutes walk away. On Camino trail. Very comfortable rooms and beautiful views of the lake.
Cons: Breakfast an additional charge. But worth it as lots of choice.

5.8 Okay
Cons: Value for money very low. Breakfast not even included in the prices. Thin walls.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location backing on to a beach, short walk. To Harbour and old town, restaurants etc Thoroughly recommend it. If you are looking for a resort type hotel this is not for you. If you want avery nice hotel, good staff parking for a relaxed holiday this is the hotel. We stayed for a special birthday with family taking 8 rooms. We would be happy to repeat.

6.7 Good
Pros: Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Location was good.
Cons: The room couldn't have had a worse view and lack of privacy!! Room 101 has a narrow window, facing an interior yard, used to do the laundry and with staff passing by, so we had to use the curtains shut all the time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: To be honest, nothing. Avoid this place if you can.
Cons: Everything was terrible. This hotel was perhaps nice in the seventies. Since then not much has been done. Walking down the corridor, you see empty dirty rooms. At night, you hear every word, sneeze, cough etc from the other rooms as if they stayed next to you. Also, every step at the corridor etc. Couldn't sleep at all. At 4 am somebody was knocking with fists to the main door, but the reception was nowhere to be found. It was a horror night. To be honest, we didn't get the key to the front door either. So good for us we came to the room much earlier. Price is a joke, maybe I would find it funny if the room cost 40€, but 72€, for what? Just don't go there.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, directly located at the Camino de Costa, room was big with balcony to the beach (parallel street 2nd house row).
Cons: The beds are far too short. Length was approx. 1.80m. Mattress is too soft. You really sink in when sitting on it. Double bed room offers 2 single beds next to each other.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very accommodating. Room clean and comfortable. Location good.
Cons: Off season so restaurant not open and limited breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: My room had an ocean view and the hotel was very close to the camino.
Cons: The descriptionof the property claims they have a restaurant, but it was closed for the season. Not a big problem except it was raining and the closest open restaurant was about a half a mile away.
