Cons: Road not marked well in snowy conditions. Got stuck near parking lot because end of road was not marked and somebody else had left tracks into a field.
Pros: Size of room, ammenities, coffee/tea bar and breakfast. Kid friendly.
Pros: I liked the indoor pool n spa with a nice fireplace n BBQ grill outside plus breakfast us great from 6 to 10 am awesome
Cons: Only parking was kinda of limited
Pros: Very clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. My daughter LOVED the indoor pool! I forgot my cold medication at home and went to the lobby expecting to be price gouged like most hotels and couldn't believe how reasonably priced it was.
Cons: The water pressure was terrible which is common for hotels but this was particularly low pressure.
Pros: It was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Some of the guests were not very considerate about being quiet after 11 pm.
Pros: Hampton's are always clean and comfy.
Pros: When we arrived, the Front Desk was very friendly. They answered all our questions. The accommodations were comfortable and the property was immaculate. The breakfast attendant was genuinely pleasant and always smiling. We will definitely stay there agai.
Pros: Great location just minutes out of town clean and friendly.

Pros: Very clean property, friendly staff, great location and nicely decorated.
Cons: Slow elevators
Pros: Location and absence of casino.
Cons: Air conditioning poor. None in hallways. Minimally acceptable in room. Would not stay here again in summer months.
Pros: Hipster vibe, very friendly staff, downtown location, clean, good beds and sheets, nice big room. They are trying hard, with some good ideas. And some room for improvement. Stay here...give them the benefit of the doubt...enjoy the quirkiness.
Cons: 1. The restaurant and bar and room service closes at 9pm...10 pm... on the weekends. Seriously???
2. There was not a guide to the hotel included in the room. A rock climbing gym that is the entire 2nd floor and one whole face of the building...kinda cool...but explain it to me. How's it work? Other services?
3. The menu under the glass top of the night table...really? Pretty cheesy. Put the menu in the hotel guide, see above.
4. Glass tops on the night tables? Really?
5. The bathroom was tiny and not well remodelled - tiny tub, shower head at about 5'3"...I'm 6'4", I could barely wash my armpits...
Pros: Clean non smoking and no casino with reasonable rate
Cons: No swimming pool
Pros: Loved almost everything about the hotel except it was a little pricey for the amenities it provides. Price is relative to surrounding hotels, but it seems to offer less overall unless you pay even more extra to access "Club Level" amenities.
Cons: Tried to eat dinner at Roundabout Grill, which is the restaurant located at the hotel, but order was taken incorrectly after being asked about it twice, so the wrong food was brought out then it took an extra 20+ minutes to get the correct food. The staff was very kind and accommodating in trying to correct the mistake, but due to time constraints with other activities, I was forced to ask for a refund and never had a chance to eat the food which was wasted along with the hour I spent waiting. This won't keep me from trying to eat there on another trip, but it was a pretty frustrating experience especially as a guest of the hotel.
Pros: Renovated but it's still an old building. Has everything you would expect a hotel room to have. Good view. Staff was great.
Cons: Everything felt cheap. The room has only one winow ando the bath tub felt like it was flexing underneath me. Walls are very thin. And you can hear everything out side. Only parking was valet unless you wanted to walk.
Pros: Place was clean looked modern.
Cons: The only Thing was the location it was in the heart of Reno but had a few pan handlers approach me. However I think that's just how Reno is now in general
Pros: The room and bed were comfy
Cons: I like everything pritty much
The bed was fantastic--one of the best I've slept in at a hotel. The rooms are kept very clean and the housekeeping staff are great.
The location is very convenient and makes access to surrounding events and venues a short walk.
Non-smoking and non-gaming make this a unique hotel perfect for families. The climbing walls (indoor and outdoor) looked like a lot of fun and I would have tried them had I not been so busy.
Cons: Cramped and slow
The elevators are slow and malfunctioned several times during my stay. The entry felt as though I was sneaking in the back door of a night club. There was no convenience store and all of the public areas felt cramped.
Location - Downside
The convenient location can be a bad thing as my last night found me trying to sleep with a rock concert going on in the street literally under my window. Admittedly, though, I did try to go to bed early and the music was over by 10:30.
The W-Fi was horrible. It was spotty and required accepting of the terms every time it reconnected. The Wi-Fi that's free with your stay was slower than my cell phone and the broadband we paid for in hosting a conference wasn't much faster.
*What's worse, that broadband was down for two of the three days of our conference.* That was a whole lot of money down the tubes.
Pros: Coffer maker in the room was nice...personal Keurig
Cons: Breakfast was bad and one morning there was no hot food.
Pros: Location, good service and cleanliness. Non smoking a plus. Good size room.
Cons: The finish line to a marathon was right outside the hotel and someone was using a loud speaker at 7AM IN THE MORNING to announce runners crossing and getting the crowd riled up. Then police on a motorcycle proceeded to use their sirens as the runners were getting getting close and finishing. Went on foe more than an hour. That was awful. Had I known I would have stayed somewhere else. Did not get the sleep and rest I was looking for Sunday morning because of the marathon. It was awful.
Pros: The entire place was incredibly clean! Thank goodness for a Non-Casino based Hotel in Reno! Finally a place we can stay without all the noise and awful smoke! Nothing worse for a non smoker than waking up sick in the morning from all the smoke you had to wade through; or worse the smoke that seeps into your room. We will definitely be back, see you soon!
Cons: Parts of the surrounding blocks are a bit shady looking. BUT it appears to be improving.
Located just 4.9 mi (7.9 km) from the airport, Whitney Peak Hotel offers drop-off service at scheduled times. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Heritage Restaurant, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A nightclub and a bar/lounge are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like designer toiletries and memory foam beds with premium linens.
Cons: Had to call a cab to the airport. The shuttle doesn't run at 4am for an early flight. Very disappointing.
Pros: The hotel is very convenient to the Reno Airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Cons: The walls are extremely thin. Unfortunately my neighbor had a winter cold, and was up coughing all night which meant I was up listening all night. The walls are so thin that I could hear when they pushed the off switch on the night stand.
Also, the heating is not central, and the window system was very loud when it would kick on every couple hours.
Overall, not a good night sleep. I was in room 223. Perhaps other rooms or floors have better insulation.
Pros: Maids did not make noise or attempt to enter the room until later in the morning. Location is fantastic. Place was clean and in good shape.
Cons: Once in a while the planes would make some noise early in the AM.
Pros: Nice, clean, decently priced hotel located very conveniently at the entrance to the Reno Tahoe airport. We had a very early flight and not having to stress about traffic, etc. to get to the airport on time allowed us to get a very good night's sleep before our early a.m. wake up call.
They also had a shuttle ready and willing to take us directly to the airport.
Cons: Not a thing....
Hyatt Place Reno has 126 rooms in a 6 story tower. On site fitness center and indoor pool and spa. Complimentary a.m. Kitchen Skillet, with hot breakfast items, fresh fruit, oatmeal and plenty more to choose from, available daily. Various food and beverage items may be purchased 24/7 from the Gallery Hosts at the hotel.
Pros: Big rooms , clean beads , friendly personal , amazing place 100% recommended ***** best resort in Reno nv
Pros: Comfortable bed, big rooms, nice restaurant options and large gaming area with many slot machines, video poker, table games, etc. Convenient to many resorts of the Lake Tahoe area for skiing and snowboarding. Good package deals available with room discounts and resort credit included.
Cons: Room was fairly dark even with the lamps on. Had to unplug a lamp to be able to plug in and use the keurig coffee maker in the room. Shower door has no handle on the inside to close it, had to grab bottom of door to close from the inside.
Pros: The entire staff was friendly and genuinely interested in helping.
Cons: On premise restaurants seemed rather pricy.
Pros: They stuck us in the West Wing- an added hotel in the parking lot with an outside entrance in below freezing temps and the elevator was broken...
Pros: It was a room for the night.
Cons: Rude front desk staff, smokey, dated decor, not cool. Won't stay here again.
Pros: Cleanliness friendly staff
Cons: Slow wifi ended up turning it off and using the data from my own plan why pay for an upgrade when I already pay for a phone plan?
Pros: We used and appreciated the clean and complete health facility.
Cons: We thought it would be closer to the river for walking but it was a drive.
Pros: the clean rooms
Cons: the cold and snow
Pros: Very nice, we really enjoyed our stay
Pros: The room is very spacious, comfortable bed and quiet room. we've booked three rooms and overall my whole family really enjoy the stay.
Cons: upon check out, the FD associate there's a restaurant charge in one of our room. obviously, we never dine in or call room service during our stay. with family of us, we leave early in the hotel and coming late at night to sleep and rest. I hope this wrong charges will not despite my future stay. Thanks.
Pros: Close to where I needed to be for a friend's wedding
Cons: The non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke, had to air them out for a day with the window open to get the smoke out. The front desk was generally slow, the sheets had holes in them and were not tucked in well.
Pros: I LOVED the staff. From the time I checked in, I felt welcomed. I loved the room...very luxurious, great value. I called down to the front desk for many things at different times and every shift had fabulous people. Even the ladies at the cafe have great service. I will absolutely come back and bring my family! Thank you very much!

Pros: Had everything I could have asked for. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a great value.
Pros: I enjoyed size, restaurants, staff, gaming. Loved the comfort.
Pros: Staff was great from the shuttle drivers on the way in, to the driver on the way out. They went out of their way to assist with any requests, were always friendly and responsive. Rooms are nicely updated and the beds are comfortable. Close to the airport. Indoor pool.
Cons: The standard pillows are terrible. However, they do have a pillow menu you can order from, which I did on the last night and it saved my sleep. It is a little far from the main downtown area, but super convenient to the airport and convention center.
Pros: Their buffet is second to none in Reno! Comfortable clean rooms with great views of the sierras. We stayed here for the close proximity to the convention center. Kids enjoyed the pool.
Cons: $21 per day resort fee tacked on to room.
The spa was out of this world
Every one of your staff truly cares
Pros: Nice, clean room. Friendly staff
Cons: It would have been nice to have a mini-refrigerator in the room for left overs. Drink service while gambling was not the best. I had to keep tracking down the cocktail waitress
Cons: Hair balls in bath dub. I was lecturing and this was paid for by host yet they claimed I was responsible for resort fee not host. Unhelpful and greedy
Pros: Rooms are nice and comfy. Very kid friendly, my kiddos loved the arcade.
Cons: Our last time we visited we had free rooms and a refrigerator was in our room so this time we paid for our rooms and I was expecting to have a fridge. But there wasn't one and I called service desk and it cost $20/night. We already paying for room and resort fees, expensive dining and see were still going to have to pay for that!!!
Not well ventilated.
Pros: Napa Bistro happy hour. Great beds and linens. Nice rooms.
Cons: 3rd party reservations were wrong. I had to contact them to get it corrected. Took 1 hour.
Didn't win, even a little.
Pros: Rooms were very nice and updated, facility was clean and lots of great restaurants available. The Casino smoke stayed downstairs in the casino. The Napa Bistro was an excellent choice for dinner and the Sauvignon Blanc for $10 a glass was amazing!
Cons: The Purple Parrot restaurant gave me indigestion from the French toast (which I had to send back from all the black charred flakes covered all over my toast from the flat griddle). The air quality needs improvement. My nose and throat were congested, scratchy, and irritated from the smoke in the casino downstairs.
Pros: It was very clean and all the staff was very friendly and accommodating
Cons: There is no night life for young travelers and the drinks where mostly flavoring and not alcohol
Pros: Excellent rooms, gym, Internet, value. Buffets and happy hour at Napa bistro
Cons: Smoke smell in hallways. Resort fee was more than advertised on kayak. Front desk didn't know of $10 free play that was part of purchased room package.

Cons: Your Fitness center is horrible, in this day and age, business people need a good place to workout, a place that has some weights, cardio, etc, and one that will fit more than 2 people at a time

Pros: Everyone was Friendly/kind. Front desk, housekeeping & ladies in breakfast area. Late to breakfast & staff offered to get me some food because there wasn't much left over. Definitely will stay here again. Great rooms/staff. Wonderful experience. Thank you
Cons: No complaints. As I said above everyone was very friendly. Thank you all for a wonderful & pleasant experience. More regular coffee in room. Not really a complaint because lounge had coffee/tea all day. Loved the cucumber/lemon drink. Very refreshing :)
Pros: Clean and isolated from the main strip of Reno.
Cons: When checking out, I politely asked the clerk if I can get a receipt. Instead of politely explaining to me that there's no receipt that they can give me, the clerk's tone of voice is annoyed and sounded like she don't need to answer what I was asking.
Pros: The free full breakfast. Beds very comfortable.
Pros: The staff the breakfast
Cons: My bathroom tub did not drain. The hair dryer which I made sure they provided before I got there did not work. The air conditioner in the room was not sufficient there was nothing within walking distance of this Hotel.
Pros: Pool, jacuzzi:Just needs to be checked/ cleaned more often!Thanx
Cons: Breakfast and helpful staff around it!Thanx
I stayed at Holiday Inn before many times but never had this kind of experience. I will never stay at Reno Holiday Inn.
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Staff.I booked 2 rooms. At the time of Check-in they lied about my Amex CC not going through. They asked me different card I gave visa card. Charged me twice Ames and Visa as well.

Pros: Location was perfect. Price was right. Very clean. Breakfast was nice
Cons: Really hoped for a hot tub - after traveling all day this would have topped it off well. The beds are really soft - not my personal preference.
Pros: Clean,friendly staff, excellent breakfast
Pros: The hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a standard hotel complimentary breakfast. Pool was nice. Located close to the Sparks Outlets. Would stay there again.
Pros: Attractive decor. Decent breakfast.
Cons: More items in the snack shop would have been nice.
Pros: Location and easy access.
Cons: Upon check-in they did not have my reservation. Fortunately, I had my confirmation and honored the reservation even though they said they had no rooms.
Cons: Hallways were very hot
Pros: Nice stay !!
Cons: Nice !!
Pros: convenience. clean. refrigerator and micorwave
Cons: Due to a large event in town that weekend prices were very inflated.

Pros: Was offered an upgrade upon check-in and it did not disappoint. The room was clean, spacious, great views of the mountains and city, and comfortable bed. The temperature was set at a comfortable 67 degrees and the housekeeping staff was very courteous in understanding of our being in the room later and cleaned it promptly after. We are locals and GSR is consistently rated as one of the better casinos and staying there was no exception.
Cons: There needs to be a bit more communication between front desk staff and housekeeping. When we extended our stay by a day (having work done on our house) apparently that message was not conveyed to housekeeping who was trying to kick my boyfriend out. It was resolved, but created some hassle for him.
Cons: Missing safe, missing refrigerator, missing blow dryer in the room. Claimed that Nevada state fire code does not allow rollaway in a room with 2 beds and there is no mention of this when booking. I can't find this mentioned anywhere in any code online, so it seems like a BS reason. The square footage was certainly big enough to accommodate it.
Cons: Front Desk lady provided Smoking floor but didn't disclose it to us when we checked in. We found out from a guest in the elevator. My daughter and I couldn't sleep the entire night. We inhaled lots of 2nd hand smokes in our lungs. Complaints to Front Desk manager and she said there's no guarantee the guests will get non smoking room, even we have a child in our room. This is ridiculous!
Pros: Noise rooms can hear people upstairs and either side late @ night 4am Manger wouldn't stop the noise
Pros: Staff went above and beyond making sure needs were meant. Always grateful with great customer service.
Cons: Trash cans in room could have a paper bag or plastic in order to properly dispose of any trash accumulated in room.
Cons: Smoking and dirty rooms
Every restaurant had a wait
Pros: Had an amazing dinner at the Cantina restaurant. I'd go back to the hotel just to go there for dinner. The food and the service there was fantastic and was the thing that kept my stay from being a total disappointment.
I learned that hotel casino resorts aren't for me.
Cons: I was put into one of their renovated rooms and it wasn't very clean. There was dirt on the floor and a couple of toenail clippings under the desk.
The renovation was ugly. The bathroom with it's floor to ceiling brown marble and black vanity and very poor lighting was like being in a cave. Not all the lamps in my room worked. Why would a "resort" hotel renovate the rooms and put the same old lumpy bed back in there?
The first night I was there the heat in my room didn't work. However, it was fixed rather quickly.
If you're traveling with a family and looking for a place to stay where there is a lot of stuff in one location and you feel like letting your kids run around and act like animals while you sit in front of a slot machine getting drunk then I suppose this is the place to be.
If you enjoy a hotel where there are drunk people smoking in the hallways at 8 a.m., kids running around and screaming in the public areas and having to wait in line for 45 minutes just to check out then this is the place for you.
There are other hotels in the area that are cleaner and less expensive
Pros: I reserved 2 beds in each of the 2 rooms I booked weeks in advance and booked through the hotel to make sure I got what I requested. I even asked for a higher floor and paid extra for it. They told me they were sold out and that's all they had left although there was a line of people before and after me getting rooms... That didn't make since. This was my 4 time staying there and was really disappointed in the experience
Pros: The whole place
Pros: Large casino, lots of places to eat and things to do. Can literally stay there and not leave for anything. Lots of slot machines, tables.
Cons: Wasn't very clean, room smelled like smoke even though non smoking room. There was hair in the shower and bathroom that was not ours. The room was just generally rundown.
Cons: When I called the front desk to request checking out at 1pm, she said $20 extra charge plus tax and repeated for a few times emotionless. Most time this hotel's rate per night is about $20.

Cons: The check in clerk didn't understand the online checkin process, making me "register" like I walked in off the street. Also didn't acknowledge my hhonors status.
Cons: Customer service was terrible.
Pros: Clean and great breakfast
Cons: Very noisy. Young children running the hallways and banging on doors in evening. Lots of noise on floor above too. Three times kids knocked on our door- twice they ran away when it was opened. Once they said sorry, wrong room.
Pros: The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, are the very best and the friendliest I've ever experienced. Everyone was willingly to help and always with a smile upon their faces! The facility and rooms were top rated as well as extremely beautiful and clean. Recommended to anyone at anytime!
Pros: Nice non-smoking facilities, clean comfortable room,, super staff, easy parking and a great breakfast.

Cons: wasnt sure if breakfast was part of package no real info in brochures about it
Pros: Clean, comfortable.
Pros: Clean and comfortable bed. The price is definitely a plus.
Cons: N/A. If it could provide free breakfast, it would be be great.
Pros: Friendliness and helpfulness of staff.
Cons: This hotel isn't even close to 3 star! You kidding me. Homeless people in the lobby. Room old. Wow. Absolute joke of a hotel. Never recommend it or stay there again!
Pros: quite, clean
Cons: novice from high way traffic
Pros: Everything was excellent except the mattress desperately needed to be replaced!
Pros: Price and big rooms
Cons: Hair all over
Pros: The value. For the price, especially in Reno, the room was excellent. The customer service was quite good too.
Pros: Very convenient location near the airport and whole foods and other restaurants.
Cons: The slow service at the café for breakfast.
Pros: Has everything one needs and close to everything!!
Cons: Does not have a van to transport between airport and hotel.

Pros: Space of the room was very adeqaute for our size party. The kitchen was very nice, the basketball court and spa area was very good especially with (3) teen boys in the party. The full hot breakfast meal was right on time and completely satisfied our taste
Cons: Just a little far from main area of Reno, BUT for the cost and savings we got from the full breakfast it was well worth it
Pros: Room clean and spacious.
Cons: Thin walls. Could hear neighbors talking.
The free breakfast was a plus. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Pros: I like that you don't have to walk through a casino to get to the room. It has a homey feel with the outdoor space surrounding the individual buildings and of course with the kitchen and living room set up.

Pros: Great room very clean. Very large room we had a great view from our room. Loved the Casino area.
Cons: The drain in the shower was clogged and you were standing in water.
Pros: Friendly & efficient front desk staff and housekeeping, good beverage service in casino, adjoins the Silver Legacy and Circus Circus, large separate parking structure
Cons: Rooms are small and seriously need to be updated. Our A/C was on steroids, couldn't get it to calm down, so we had to bundle up in the room, which is better than being too hot, but still.... 95 degrees outside and really too cold inside. Food in coffee shop was pretty bad (and we generally are quite happy with generic hotel coffee shops).
Pros: Quiet and peaceful! All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Liked everything.
Cons: Were renovating rooms on the floor I was on. It was extremely loud and made it hard to sleep in after a night out.
Pros: How close it was to the show that we were going to everything is right there whether it be going to another casino or going shopping
Cons: I stayed many times at the El Dorado in the past the staff was always so friendly at not only the hotel all the restaurants, bars, and Casino floors not so much this time They used to have awesome coupons that they gave you when you checked in I wasn't so impressed with them this time.
Cons: They down sized my original reservation from a king size bed to a queen size bed, because they didn't have any more available, the room they put me in it was to small, with a lot of malfunctions in it, like the tub was clogged, the shower temperature control handle wasn't working, room was dirty. Just to name a few. Very bad experience with it.
Pros: I always appreciate the friendly, helpful staff at the Eldorado. Everyone always seems happy and in a good mood. They are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The rooms are comfortable and have everything I need.
Pros: great selection of restaurants
Cons: extra fees on top of room rates. Total price should be included in
Pros: Allowed us to walk around in comfort versus wearing motorcycle gear.
Cons: Reno and Vegas prices just keep going up.
Pros: How we got the room Thru Kayak
Cons: Restaurants closed at anywhere from 8 to 9. Pool was located in the middle of the hotel on the 4th floor and the sun was blocked by a tower for a portion of the day. The casino paid out little money and there were never any desire to sign you up with a players card.
Around the corner from the National Bowling Stadium and the Reno Events Center, this modern, neon-lit casino hotel is located 0.4 miles from the National Automobile Museum.
Polished rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers and Wi-Fi (fee). Upgraded rooms add pull-out sofas and extra sitting areas, while suites include whirlpool tubs, and additional living and dining spaces.
Free garage parking is provided. Additional amenities include a full-service, 24-hour casino, 9 dining options and live entertainment, plus numerous bars and lounges. There's also a 5th-floor outdoor pool and a fitness center.
Cons: rooms were horrible. moldy bathroom, a/c didnt work, hair dryer didnt work, room felt dirty. ended up with a few bed bug bites.
party above room until 2:30 am when finally called security.
yuk yuk yuk !! never again. used to be okay. not any more.
Cons: The pictures didn't show the outside for a reason. The hotel rooms and hallways smelled musty, old, and smoky. I would not recommend staying here.
Pros: easy to find
Cons: no breakfast
Pros: Saff at front desk were friendly and very helpful.
Room on 4th floor had a view. On our first visit the pool & spa were closed. On our second visit the indoor pool was open and very enjoyable.
Cons: First visit - Pool & Spa were closed due to chemical balance issues.
Cons: i thought it was stupid that I had to do a $50 dollar deposit when I checked in. The point of paying ONLINE was to pay for EVERYTHING IN ADVANCE!! The stay was ok. I only slept for one night there, so it was fine but the HIDDEN FEES is just terrible. Oh and people could smoke inside of the hallways of the hotel when it's a closed building. Overall, I just hated the dumb deposit.
Pros: We were pleasantly surprised. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. There were several dining options to choose from. We ate in the coffee shop twice and the portions were big and a reasonable price. The marina outside our room was very nice and looked relaxing. If we are in the area again we will plan on staying there.
Cons: The casino had a very smoky smell
Pros: I like the location being so close to the freeway and shops and restaurants were easy to find. And the Casino restaurants were very good and I enjoyed playing Black Jack at the tables.
Cons: It was a bit loud at night but being attached to a casino I understand that you're going to have people going in and out of their room at all hours.
Pros: Comfort of bed, spacious room, refrigerator, view of mountains. I had a nonsmoking room.
Cons: I had a nonsmoking room which was fine but the hallways smelled pretty strongly of nicotine.
Pros: Conveniently located, plenty of parking.
Cons: Went to check out, realized that I left my wallet in my room. In that time, the room had been turned over a member of the staff and my wallet was gone.
Upon reporting this to the front desk, they referred me onto security. The security guard who walked up told me that it may show up later. I asked if I could leave my phone number, and file a theft report.
I was told that he wouldn't take my phone number, because he'd probably be too busy to call me and that I should just keep calling the lost and found.
Thankfully, I was travelling with my girlfriend, or I wouldn't have been able to get home to Seattle.
Thanks for nothing Western Village.
Pros: Location (edge of Reno, rather than the heart. Good for people passing through)
Casino (updated and clean)
Windows in the rooms
Rooms were updated
Cons: Common space like hallways and elevator were dingy
Smoke smell EVERYWHERE, even non-smoking rooms
Bathrooms in rooms were not updated
Pros: The neatness, friendliness of the staffs and above all the location is fabulous.
Pros: Clean; neat; many new positive room changes; quiet; near shopping; lots of security seen; staff friendly; talking with other resident, all liked this place; BEST deal in NV for quality and price!!! Loved the lake behind for relaxing and saying 'Howdy' to others. Just GOOD!!
Cons: Bathroom door squeaked; tv color was poor; on weekend, so busy couldn't get into restaurants until late evening;
Situated in Sparks, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Sparks Marina Park and Sierra Sid's. Sparks Heritage Museum and Outlets at Legends Sparks are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Cons: Air conditioner was very noisy and turned on and off all night making it impossible to stay asleep.
Cons: My flight was canceled out of NYC so I never made it to Reno. The hotel refused to refund me the room or even hear about the circumstances. Pretty god awful customer service.
Pros: Price since we were here on business and had no desire to stay at one of the casinos. Friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Air conditioner didn't get quite cold enough. One very stained chair next to the desk sort of ruined the overall feeling of the otherwise nice and comfortable room for the price.
Pros: Quiet, safe, CLEAN, Excellent value!!!
Pros: Hotel is always very clean and well maintained. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Staff were nice, check in and check out was smooth.
Cons: Hotel is showing its age. Our room was close to the elevator, and we could hear it going all night.
Pros: Good customer service.
Cons: The bathrooms need to be updated.
Pool wasn't available, was under construction. No notification about it.
Pros: Staff was above and beyond helpful and friendly.
Pros: I have to wait for one hour while my room need to be cleaned first, it was already about 7 PM when I checked-in. Good thing I was travelling with friends and can stay at their room. The room was clean, good size, and comfy, I don't have any complain considering it was holiday time and lots of people in and out.
Cons: The only issue is parking. Most of them is compact size and lots of minivans just jamming in without considering other people. Need to work on that.
Pros: The rooms
Cons: No buffet
Pros: Nice, clean rooms, fast check-in, complimentary champagne while waiting to check-in, good restaurants.
Cons: Machines were tight, not paying out enough to keep me interested.
Pros: Front desk was awesome, very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room I stayed in needed vacuuming.
Pros: While the hotel was otherwise pleasant...
Cons: I had about $3,000 worth of belongings stolen from my car during daylight hours. When filing a report with hotel security, it became clear that their job was not to assist me but to protect the hotel, as the first words out of each of their mouths were, "The hotel isn't liable for your stuff." Security also refused to show or provide me the security video from the parking lot, although supposedly shared with the police. A shame they can't keep their own parking lot secure.
Pros: Free airport shuttle, speedy early check in with no hassle. Decent pool and hot tub. Easy access to casino, restaurants and salon.
Cons: Terrible nachos from pool bar. Clogged tub. Remote control needed new batteries. And they charged an overnight resort fee despite that I didn't stay the night.
Pros: A large variety of restaurants to choose from.
Connected to surrounding casinos.
Pros: Location was convenient. The Silver Legacy, the El Dorado, and Circus Circus are joined so you can walk between without going to street level. Lots of selection for food.
Cons: Friends who booked directly with the hotel were upgraded while those who didn't were not. My bed was firm as a rock on the peasant levels of the tower and my shoulder is still hurting from sleeping on the bed. My entire room could fit inside the bathroom of the other travelers. The room didn't have a fridge and was mediocre for the price.
Pros: Everything was great, good hotel, excellant location.
Cons: Should be a mini fridge in every room
I had a small ice chest with that I always bring on vacations so I just kept refilling with hotel ice machine to keep my food cold.
Enjoy the excitement of Silver Legacy Resort Casino, located in the heart of Downtown Reno. Elegance and luxury surrounds you with over 1,700 rooms and suites. Immerse yourself in the captivating atmosphere of this beautiful Reno hotel casino.
Pros: The food was amazing and the array of options was a pleasant surprise for a last minute reservation. Coming back as destination!
Pros: We enjoyed Atlantis for the first time during our 4 year anniversary. We went for the in room spa, free use of the gym and pools. But the good food was a plus. We typically don't gamble much, but we won enough on the slots to pay for dinner. That's plenty of excitement for us!
Cons: Too many smoking areas
Pros: This was our third stay at the Atlantis, using only the hotel, no gambling. We have found the hotel to be consistently clean, comfortable, well equipped and easy to check in and out. The beds are especially comfortable, and the room blacks out nicely for a later sleep. We found that the three times we had breakfast in the Purple Parrot, that the food was consistently well prepared and well served. We love the place. The only criticism is the ever present cigarette smoke. Though not very apparent in the hotel room, it is strong in the lobby due to the proximity with the gambling facilities. In the Purple Parrot, where we ate breakfast, it was noticeable, but not enough to spoil the enjoyment of the wholesome food served. We would stay there again if passing through Reno.
Cons: Cigarette smoke, but we understand the nature of a Casino business. Thank goodness the hotel room and breakfast restaurant were substancially smoke free.
Pros: We are travelers from Hawaii arriving very late in the middle of the night. What a pleasure it was to find such a welcoming staff to receive us. Every interaction that we had was a joy. Management is doing a terrific job of hiring the best staff. We will most definitely think of Atlantis whenever we are in Reno.
Cons: Everything was wonderful – the room and cleanliness was top notch.
Pros: The spa is always my favorite thing to do at the Atlantis.
Cons: The smoke that just sits in the casino. I am not a smoker but even when you get back to your non- smoking room you have to shower or the room smells like a smokers room.

Pros: Unlike high rise hotels, it's very easy to get in and out of the Garden Inns.
Pros: I have been staying here for almost 18 months regularly as part of my projects in Reno. I have also stayed at some of the Casino properties in the area. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Jeff Peason's staff here. They just treat me like family.
Pros: This hotel was what I expected of a Hilton. It was easy to access from the freeway. I fell safe in the hotel and neighborhood. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Used the refrigerator but not the microwave but glad it was there if we needed it.
Cons: The shower head was mounted too high. Not a big issue but I'm shorter than most people and to adjust the spray I'd have to balance on the side of the tub. Doesn't seem safe to me. Many hotels do this. So this to limited to This Hilton.
Pros: This is one of the best run, friendliest locations in all of Reno.
Pros: Rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is great, just off the freeway and next to a gas station and some restaurants. The room itself was spacious with a large bathroom (I booked a single king bed room and it was like a small 1br apartment inside).
Cons: I really only needed a place to sleep while I'm in Reno, so I wasn't really expecting much. The only improvement they can make is to get quieter air conditioning units, since there was one right next to the bed and it can get loud at night.
