There was no food available except for breakfast. And no ice at all.
The shuttle bus operator did not poss on or arrival to the hotel which resulting in us having to wait some 35 minutes and 2 calls to the operator not acceptable
Proximity to airport. Room modern and nicely sized. Good bed. Power in headboard. Decent restaurant next door. Shuttle (see below)
Form over function design elements such as the frosted glass that was a good portion of the WC door... makes it impossible to shower without waking your travel partner unless shower in the dark. As we have found to be the case in FR, it was obviously a great burden for the shuttle driver to grunt the repulsive English language at 5am; on the other hand she was really good at making the unloading of the luggage from the shuttle look like the van exploded. That’s why computer backpacks have padding I guess. Front desk was pleasant and communicated well in English and the pidgin I call my French, but they did remind me my pronunciation is apparently pretty funny.
New Property, lobby area is fine, elevator is easy access. check in was a breeze. the shuttle to the airport was great. There is a section of food delivery menus in the lobby however you have 2 choices: sushi or pizza.
For a new hotel, i was surprised that 2 lights in the room didn't work. The toilet seat was broken, and that someone left their in-room dining glasses, wine bottle and used stuff on the floor in the hallway near my door. Okay that happens...but when it's still there 16 hours later? that means no personnel are checking the floors. Oh, and the restaurant is across the street at the Golden Tulip......which takes 30 seconds to walk to. Not a big deal.
The district is very quiet and the facilities in the room are perfect. The bathroom is modern, clean and big. You can boil water for tea in the morning. Every single bed is of a big size. The shuttle to take you away to the aiport is for free.
The staff is impolite and badly educated. There is no eatery inside, let alone the restaurant. The staff doesn't tell you all truth while insisting on the legend that the only option eat would be demanding expensive food by phone.
