Cons: There is nothing to not like.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room I was in was very nice clean and tidy guest house and very friendly staff. Anything you ask for you got. More than helpful. The breakfast was excellent and it’s a lovely bar down stairs. I had a good evening meal. And good craic in the bar with lively music. Would highly recommend this O’Gradys guesthouse only 20 minutes from the city

Pros: This place is the perfect value for money including the excellent breakfast. This place is highly recommended. Close to shops and train station as well. My request was late checkout was immediately obliged without any cost.
Cons: Everything about this place is brilliant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. No negative point.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spacious , clean well appointed parking over the road ( free at week ends)
Cons: Given the original building there was nothing to be improved , eg steep stair ..which we were warned about. The three bedroom flat had only been refurbished hours be fore we arrived so they could be forgiven for not having a hair dryer or coat hangers
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, close to train station. Despite being above a pub it wasn't noisy.
Cons: Steep stairs, wouldn't be good for those with mobility issues.

Pros: It is a beautiful, clean and comfortable place to stay for a traveler like me. The best location from the train station. Heather, the owner, is a lively, lovely, accommodating, generous, and selfless woman i have ever met. There’s more positive adjectives i could describe her but i think there’s not a lot o f space here. God bless you more Heather! Until my next journey to Southend!
Cons: ----

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Heather’s Lodge – room’s standard was better than described, the neighbourhood lovely & quiet, and our host was absolutely amazing – Heather is warm, helpful & kind landlord. If we would be traveling to London in the future, we would definitely stay at Heather’s Lodge again!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great quiet place to stay, lovely owner. Free parking and rooms well equipped
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little place and great value for money. Communication before arrival was fantastic, including arrival instructions. Heather made sure I had everything I needed, dropped me at the station on departure day, organised a bike for me to rent and lots more; Train station walkable distance; shops and pub also.
Cons: As advertised, note the shared bathroom. But wasn't any issue as I mostly had it for myself and it was always clean & accessible. Advice: If you want your own bathroom there's also the possibility of renting the annex with ensuite!

Cons: Bed was far too bouncy and not very comfortable
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom were spotless and in good order. I liked the decor. The room was quiet. The bed/pillow etc was comfortable and I slept well. I was given a front door key so I could come and go as I pleased. An iron and ironing board were readily available without my having to ask - as was a hairdryer.
Cons: The basin tap in the bathroom was a little stiff! A slightly scruffy roadside sign indicating when one had arrived - I missed the place on first pass!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly, room was very big, clean and had everything one would need. Good location.
Cons: Bed was a bit too firm for me.
6.7 Good
Pros: Room was v clean, bed v comfortable. The outside as far as entrance is concerned, needs better curb appeal. When we pulled in, we thy it was going to b grotty. So a little more time & effort spent on entrance, would make a big difference.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Over for a car show so needed somewhere to sleep and safely park the car, didn't need breakfast as had to leave too early for that so Good Intent rooms was an ideal choice. Tony is a very welcoming host, the whole place is spotless and quiet. The local pub/restaurant is an easy walk with good home cooked food and decent beer.
Cons: My only possible comment is that the bed was a little soft for me. This is personal preference and would certainly not stop me from coming back for a longer stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location - near to London but without the crowds, people etc.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Great alternative to a horrible chain hotel and twice as clean.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: I thought the rooms were lovely and re-furbished to a high standard. The location was lovely and very convenient for the wedding reception we had attended.
Cons: The cooked breakfast was lovely but not really what I wanted since I would have preferred fruit, yoghurt and toast.
7.9 Good
Cons: If you like cerials, fruit,, fruit juices, yoghurt, toast and marmalade, etc for breakfast..... you can't get any of them. Only set cooked meals like full English, eggs Benedict, smoked salmon and scrambled egg etc. Dinner good.. The bedrooms are good but the mid-stay tidying is lax. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very comfy and quiet, with extra large beds. Good shower and TV. Private and nicely decorated. Staff extremely polite and attentive. It was helpful to be able to book a single room as part of our party of 5 at a very reasonable price.
Cons: It had obviously been a busy weekend and the restaurant was extremely busy. Service was good but the food was pretty disappointing, to be honest. Also there were no towels or toilet rolls in two of our rooms, but this was immediately put right as soon as we told the staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: Cute little Inn - you get what you pay for. It's clean and nice, but don't expect anything over the top. Full breakfast included in the morning.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an evening meal in the restaurant with friends. The service was good and we all enjoyed the meal and the ambience. The location is good and easily accessible, with adequate parking.
Cons: Special diets are not well catered for, soya milk is not normally available, nor non-dairy spreads for people with dairy intolerance, although they offer vegan meals on the evening menu. The first morning the bacon was really fatty, badly cooked and presented but as I requested it to be well done on the second morning it was grilled and better, though a little dry and over-done!

Pros: Des was the perfect host - a really lovely guy! The beds were so comfy and everything was very clean!!
7.1 Good
Pros: The bed was really comfy - great mattress. Our host, Des was charming and friendly. The breakfast was good.
Cons: The room was fairly small, the en suite was very small. Des warned us that we needed to push the shower doors closed hard, but I guess he had never actually used that shower - I had to shower standing on one leg with my foot against the door to keep it closed! The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet, making it very uncomfortable to sit on. The biscuits in the room were very ordinary/cheap.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Des was so welcoming, friendly and attentive. The garden was beautiful and the free continental breakfast was lovely. I especially like that it is all self service. There was also plenty of parking for our car and trailer.
Cons: It would be helpful if there was a clearer sign directing you into the B&B from the M25 end.

Pros: Location Main building History Gardeners Interiors

9.0 Excellent
Cons: The room was too hot and the lamp didn’t work. Also the remote control didn’t work and there was a contact lens on the floor in the corner of the bathroom behind the door. We were in room 42.

4.6 Okay
Pros: A short drive from the A10. Lovely wedding venue with superb grounds.
Cons: The room was utilitarian. Disappointing, given the fabulous surroundings.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was excellent (room 204), small and cosy with a great view of the gardens. No noise from other guests, nice bed, just what i needed.
Cons: Shower could do with updating, it was the basic tap attachment and bath. It worked fine though.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The building was exceptional, the bar and restaurant areas very good indeed
Cons: The room was very average. No bedside lamps, no bedside tables, very small 'desk' area, poor wifi
5.0 Okay
Pros: This situation was beautiful .
Cons: Highly disappointed with the bathroom. All soaps and shampoos with in container screwed to the walls and if you were having a bath, it was almost impossible to reach up above your head to get anything out of them. Can't believe that a hotel of that supposed calibre, could not provide a small bar of soap. The dining room was closed and we sat at a table for dinner in a hallway and had the bar menu, which was good but not quite what we were looking forward to. No dining menu was available. Whilst sittings there three trolleys rolled by, one with dirty linen and the other with plastic tray boxes. The hotel had a wedding going on when we arrived and there was another the next day, and it seemed that all the other guests were just in the way.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Well kept grounds.
Cons: The young man on reception did not greet us and was dismissive. We had to ask all the questions. He gave us incorrect location for our room. The so-called “superior” room was small, hot and extremely dated. Not what we expected from “exclusive “ accommodation. Photo attached is of the top of the bedside table that should reside in a tip!

Overview Reviews
Located in Waltham Cross, YHA London Lee Valley - Hostel is within a 15-minute drive of Paradise Wildlife Park and Epping Forest. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: The surrounded are of this hostel, which on one side there is Lee Valley Park, while on the other side there is the villages with all the necessaries and elements. The Lee Valley Park is very interesting and worth to visit, there is also another park nearby. The village on the other side, behind the train station and rail tracks, has everything that visitors may need to purchase, including pubs and bars, not less a larg-size supermarket that can be reached by less than 20minutes walk. This hostel has a very nice refurbished reception area, highly recommended to spend evey little time in this area, even just to relax or to use your computer, it has a very nice ambient where people can enjoy or relax.
Cons: The shared kitchen has limited utensils, so we had to borrow the required utensils from the main kitchen by asking at the reception, also, there were only two small electric ovens to be used by the residents of the lodge. Also, there is only one (1) shower and one (1) toilet eight (8) persons which are not enough especially at peak times where everyone will require to use these facilities. Both the toilet and shower are old fashioned not refurbished like other YHA hostels. When arriving at the train station, do not go to the village, but cross the rail tracks to go to this hostel; unfortunately, there is no any signage or directions where is this hostel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet and safe location, fantastically priced and really handy for visiting North and Central London, via Cheshunt Rail Station.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. The location was ideal as we were travelling into London.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location with free parking. 24/7 reception. Value for money.
Cons: A little tear and wear in the rooms. No free towels.
7.1 Good
Pros: Parking and park outside YHA
Cons: Unable to open balcony doors (30 degree summer day), extremely noisy system blowing air (ambient temperature) into the room. Shower in rooms only meaning each time other room mates take shower you being very aware of it, toilets in room-same problem, however there were toilets available outside of the room. Also main entry door when self closing would shake the whole building, you could hear and feel it even on first floor. I saw young family checking downstairs next to the door, feel sorry for them. Great parking and park outside. I've been to YHA in different locations but I would never stay here again because of the door / ventilation system / shower & toilet set up.
7.9 Good
Pros: Comfort
Cons: Multiple beds in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place most staff were great will definitely be back
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice, quiet location.
Cons: No chair for the table in my room. Floors had some dust and bits on it. No bathroom mat for when you come out of the shower. No Wi-Fi in the room, only in the reception area.
7.5 Good
Pros: A nice, semi-rural location. Within walkable distance of pubs and restaurants but nice and quiet with plenty of parking space. Dorm "chalets" were spacious and self-contained and it was pretty well signposted, which made life easier.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The entire experience was enjoyable and relaxing.
Cons: Nothing
5.4 Okay
Pros: It is in a lovely setting
Cons: They rooms are dated bathroom tired and worn. No full length mirror in room. Shower in bathtub. Lights no all working view of a brick wall. Food in Cast Iron Grill overprice and poor quality. Spa area only had one robe left. No beds to lie on round the pool
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff friendliness, pool, food
Cons: Dated room decor, bed too soft
7.9 Good
Pros: We found the spa treatments were wonderful. The spa staff are great - both professional and friendly; they put us at ease and we were made to feel as though nothing was too much trouble. Sheila was super; she gave the most incredible and skilled reflexology treatment - bliss. Clare was lovely; we were made to feel relaxed and generally special throughout our stay. We will definitely return if only for the treatments. We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Meals are served in the manor house where the setting is beautiful. Breakfast foods were constantly replenished and the hot options were actually hot. Dinner was a more formal affair. Service was excellent, again professional and friendly. A special mention must go to Anita who is an exceptional server. She went out of her way each evening, to ensure we were happy and had all we needed. Anita had remembered it was my birthday and had independently organised a table without us requesting one, despite the restaurant being very busy - so refreshing to encounter staff who really care about their jobs and extend this onto the customer. Well done Hanbury Manor staff.
Cons: There is an issue with children and swimming lessons/classes at the pool which truly impacts on the whole spa experience. HM have a policy of adult only times but this is very limited. Marriott should be looking to invest in a completely separate child/family pool/area that would serve to accommodate both quality family time, whilst ensuring the spa retains a constant tranquil environment that is the general expectation of a spa setting. It is impractical to attempt to marry the two together - I imagine I am far from alone in expecting a spa stay to be calm and relaxing without being subjected to the obvious noise etc. that is naturally created from children simply being children.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and quiet, nice suite, nice food, excellent service
Cons: Car Parking, under trees practically in a woods!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Lovely swimming pool and leisure facilities. Front house friendly and helpful.
Cons: Kept awake all night from wedding guests screaming, shouting, banging doors all night until 7 am. Awful! Couldn’t get any food on the premises due to a wedding would of been nice to know beforehand after a 5 hour drive! Had to go back out when husband had broken foot to get food - unacceptable for a £270 room. Only 2 cups in room when 3 people staying to make tea then one cup tainted with bleach. Dining staff rude especially lady in charge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were lovely and the whole set up was new
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: Tv not working, shower wasn’t producing enough hot water, no tea spoons in room for tea & coffee
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is ideal for a wedding, the setting was fantastic for the ceremony
Cons: The rooms are dated, was given an upgrade to a prestige room but this room was tired and needs to be upgraded itself! I asked to be given the room I booked which was a hundred times better but still needed a revamp as the rooms are tired. The lounge staff were awful and had the cheek to add a service charge even after I had to look for someone to serve me, whilst the managers stood around. The restaurant staff were great as were the staff serving during the wedding. Found it strange that I could not get a tea or coffee whilst between ceremony and breakfast meal!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Traditional, very clean, lovely helpful pleasant staff
Cons: Not much really, maybe some areas a little tired

Pros: Lovely, friendly staff
Cons: Room needs some updates
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was what we were looking for all clean and tidy
Cons: Pillows not to my liking so didn’t sleep too well to soft would be better to have two different types of pillows one soft and one firm
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location, event being held at the hotel. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Was checked into the wrong room, so when we entered the room someones clothes etc where in the room. Had to go back down and ask for correct room and keys ! Rooms are dated, having the toilet opposite the main room door , not great when one of you is using the bath room and comes in from the corridor. Breakfast was expensive at £16,95 each, wasnt great value for money !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious and have a luxurious feel. Room size is similar to hotels you get in the USA. The beds were extremely comfortable.
Cons: Although the bathroom was spotlessly clean, the decor was a bit tired and dated. Also the parking charges sign in the car park is confusing for guests staying overnight - Don’t put any money in the machine always enter your registration at reception. It is is still £4 per night, though it is at the discretion of the hotel whether they charge you or not! Wi-fi - guest log on screen needs updating. It is free, though the screens still have the charge showing as £10 per day.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean.
Cons: The rooms were quite dated, the Bathroom in particular, and there was no pool facility that you get with most Marriott hotels.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Well presented public areas. Big, comfy bed. We had a garden room so traffic noise was light and we were well away from the busy function rooms so we had a peaceful night. Had a sandwich at lunchtime that was big and excellent value for money.
Cons: Some of the breakfast buffet wasn't as hot as it should be.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Kept awake by noisy air conditioning. Bed very uncomfortable. A complete stranger got into our room. Very disappointing. Won't come back
10.0 Excellent

Pros: We were very surprised with how good the hotel was. We had a very pleasant stay and would certainly stay again if we need a hotel in the area. All stay extremely good.
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice room, plenty of space. Great bed
Cons: Food is very average in restaurant. Room service menu is tastier with more choice.
7.7 Good
Pros: Sam the waiter in the restaurant was (and has always been) an absolute credit to this hotel - he is attentive, courteous and should be rewarded in some way for his excellent work - other guest at check-out commented on this to the staff at reception also.
Cons: The fact that the rate was not right on checking in and they had problems finding second reservation - also a bottle of wine was put on our room and service charged even though we did not have it (the slip was not signed for anyway) but this was taken off again when questioned.
6.3 Good
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable and the extensive breakfast was included in the booking
Cons: 3pm seems quite late to check in, but we were able to check in an hour earlier
5.7 Okay
Cons: Seems strange to me, that breakfast isn't included in room rate. Also there is no mini-bar in the room.
6.0 Good
Pros: Good hotel, nice rooms,
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing. Wifi doesnt exist in rooms, wired internet is £7 an hour what a complete rip off

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was very clean. Loved the big bed in our room. The food and drink prices at the hotel were some of the best we've seen.
Cons: Unable to find an bad points with this hotel
5.6 Okay
Pros: Very polite staff. Late checkout as an easy option. Problem with the original room allocation (mattress was in need of repair) which was resolved very quickly and we were allocated a new room.
Cons: No fridge in the room. Aircon was a little noisy. Allocated a room which was not fit for our stay (although rectified quickly on request). The bar area was very warm (no aircon)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely clean comfortable room, great location, will definitely stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All very good in spite of being under refurbishement
5.4 Okay
Pros: I have stayed at Hh on Previous occasion, this one was a disaster as the beer garden was in full swing until 11:30 and I could not sleep. The cleaning up of the beer garden commenced at 6:30 just to make sure I didn’t catch up on sleep. Nightmare.
Cons: This property is not a hotel it is a bar with rooms. The noise from the bar / beer garden was unbearable. I contemplated getting up and driving home. Complained 3 times. Management were apologetic next morning however a “hotel” with a lively garden and outdoor sports screens do not work with overnight guests in my opinion.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room had been refurbished, it was excellent, the breakfay was freshly cooked with ingredients from a local farm and was absolutely lovely.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a ‘delux’ room. Not sure what was delux about it but was a decent size and very comfy.
7.9 Good
Pros: In assessing the Hertford House Hotel I have to discount the fact that they were extensively redecorating. So I have to imagine what it would be like otherwise. And on that basis, it is charming, inviting, thoughtfully prepared, comfortably furnished. It is, in short, a welcoming and well-appointed hostelry.
Cons: The ensuite was a little tight. I would recommend a bi-fold door, which would remove the need for a doorstop in front of the basin to stub your toe on.
7.5 Good
Pros: Central location with friendly staff
Cons: Very very very noisy bar area especially on weekend evenings that transmits through to the rooms.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, staff and the room
Cons: Internet connectivity was an issue

7.1 Good
Pros: Spacious room, centre of town, parking closeby
Cons: Noisy from start of day on main street through to bar/nightclub noise at 3am. Not very private as people from across the way could see into the rooms.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great for exploring Hertford
Cons: Room was hot. Fan was supplied.
6.3 Good
Pros: There was parking outside
Cons: The wooden bed was really squeaky The towels were ragged The cushions on the bed were stained Window propped open with a metal thing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Upgraded on arrival... thank you
10.0 Excellent
Pros: High end room with huge four poster bed. Fabulous luxury bathroom with large shower and Victorian style bath. Town centre location with plenty of good pubs and cafes plus a castle.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Comfort of bed
Cons: The nightclub downstairs. This should not be classed as a hotel. The music stopped at 2.45am!!!!! Also ridiculously thin walls. Once the revellers had stopped partying and I finally got to sleep, I was then awoken early by people using their bathrooms in both adjacent rooms. It sounded as if they were flushing the toilets in our room, not their own. Soooo noisy. I had 3 hrs sleep. Awful!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was brilliant (we booked the deluxe one) Super comfortable bed, great decor, big room and I can't fault it. It felt like a boutique hotel! Staff was very friendly too.
Cons: The description says there is bar on fridays and Saturdays but it should be in big bold letters that the party doesn't stop until 3am, that the music is very loud and that there is lots of shouting as people leave the bar. Expect it to be very noisy until about 3.30am on a Saturday. They could have provided us with headphones if it was a party place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We needed a central location in Hertford with parking, while the venue doesn't have it's own parking, the multi storey behind it costs just £4.40 for 24hrs and is an easy 2 minute walk to the venue. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was cooked to order with a great choice of options. As many others have said it's a little noisy at the weekend, but midweek no real issues. Great value for a centrally located venue
7.5 Good
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Squeaky floor boards
7.9 Good
Pros: Facilites and location
Cons: Nothing
4.7 Okay
Pros: Convenient for my palce of work. Good access to cnetre of Hertford if you need it. No parking in street
Cons: Parking was in a multistorey until I challenged that I had prebooked a space. the night staff guy was excellent. meet me at the door, jumped in my car (reason was it was a very hard location to find, remote from hotel and questionable security). Helped me with luggage and served me drink and meal and reception. He did well. Day staff not as good. Poor breakfast table. Good al a carte menu. During meal dray delivery. left doors opens to shopping street, cold air, left floor hatch open whilst blockinga ccess to door to bedroom with barrels and displaced furniture. Room was comfortable enough but areas that where dusty. Asked for breakfact refund as the room was with two brekfasts but was refused. Street and bar below rooms could b
6.7 Good
Pros: The rooms were really comfortable and reasonably spacious. We were made to feel very welcome and this was one of the better places we have stayed in Hertford.
Cons: Didn't really cater for our early start on Monday morning and at the advertised start to breakfast (7am). The chef hadn't turned up. Parking is in the nearby multi storey.
7.0 Good
Pros: Really helpful staff, good food and menu. No parking but multistorey car park convenient to hotel. Near to cafes and restaurants on busy high street
Cons: A little under-staffed - no-one on front desk to check you in early morning or evenings meaning you had to go into the adjoining bar to find a staff member.

Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Convenient location for the conference we attended. Very good sound proofing from outside traffic.
Cons: Breakfast strange. Asked how we liked our eggs cooked. They were brought to the table on a plate separately to the rest of the breakfast (serve yourself) while eating our cereal.

Pros: All round quality
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly professional reception staff
7.9 Good
Cons: The temperature of the air-con cannot be controlled despite the fact that there is a control panel in the room. No phone available in the room so if you need to contact Reception you must exit your room and go to the Reception desk.
7.5 Good
Pros: Yes it was .xa very good spot .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything you'd expect from a Premier Inn, room was comfortable and clean. Hotel overall was very quiet even though our room over looked a main road. Breakfast in the Brewers Fayre next door was good, plenty of choice and staff were very friendly.
Cons: Hotel is advertised as having on-site parking, which it does, this is a shared car par and there is a charge of £5 per 24hrs to hotel guests, very reasonable for parking in London, but can't remember seeing this in the details about the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good welcome on arrival. Receptionist was very helpful organising us a cab and even gave us some play money for the Secret Cinema. Clean room. Excellent breakfast next door in the pub linked to the hotel. All in all a perfect stay with no complaints at all
Cons: Loved everything

3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The night of my stay the restaurant was closed for some reason, if I had known this I would not have booked this hotel. I was told the bar menu had been extended but it had not only 3 main dishes, veggie burger, beef burger and fish and chips. I had had a very long day and was really looking forward to a good meal, I had the beef burger which was only just average. The hotel was cold and a draft whipped through the bar area. This was possibly the worst hotel stay I have had. I work away a great deal and I am not really a fussy person, talking to the other guest's I think the feeling was mutual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location
Cons: That I had to leave
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The people where great
Cons: Breakfast
7.1 Good
Pros: Close to our friends that we were visiting
Cons: It was a bit tired and dirty in areas
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff where Fab, lovely grounds and building
Cons: The new minimal rooms need to be at minimal price, no tea coffee, tv, hair dryer etc just a bed.....which is alot of money for just a bed.. .
6.0 Good
Pros: The grounds were beautiful - quiet and restful location. Nice large rooms. The beds were nice and large and very comfortable. Tea and coffee machines in te reception area, although the biscuits in a jar were not individually wrapped so the hygiene aspect was lacking - biscuits were repeatedly touched by many hands.
Cons: The rooms were very bare as though they had not completed the interior design of the room. There was no television. Not nearly enough lighting in the room - unable to read due to poor lighting. There was no wardrobe space - just a small rail. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. The mirror was leaning against the wall, not hung.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Location near to relatives. Outside of building and gardens
Cons: Drain pump on plumbing. Noisy and did not completely drain bath or WC without stopping. Room tired; lumpy carpet. Difficult to reach taps due to fixed shower screen.
6.0 Good
Pros: Very nice and helpful employees. Access to a gym and relaxing surroundings. I like getting my invoice emailed without having to check out when I leave.
Cons: The food in general is consistently unappealing, particularly breakfast and evening meal options are limited and lack variety.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Room was dirty, vent was full of dust, shower was full on live ants!! As soon as someone walks passed the door it’s loud enough to wake you up.. I stayed in the Ridings, I would not recommend this if you’re looking for a good nights sleep.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and grounds, breakfast was quality too
Cons: Room was a touch cold, no tv in the room
