Cons: Everything was prefect
Pros: Complimentary breakfast was very good.
Cons: Beds are high off the ground-not a major deterrent for me-but, other members of our traveling party had difficulties getting into bed.
Pros: I was traveling with my daughter and three grandsons to South Carolina to visit family . This hotel was roughly halfway. The desk clerk was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and we all absolutely loved the beds. They were very comfortable, the sheets were awesome and I was very pleased when the bottom sheet didn’t come off when turning down the bedding. The breakfast was very good and offered many options but our grandsons were especially impressed with the pancake machine. We were so happy with this hotel that we stopped there on our way back to Illinois from South Carolina. This is going to be our official hotel stop on our trips in the future. The mountain view was beautiful from the front of the hotel. The only issue with this hotel would be the slightly steep driveway . It was no problem for us traveling in June but it might be a little tricky in winter weather. I’m sure they probably keep the driveway clear. There were several restaurants close to the hotel. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express.
Cons: Lighting over desk..none there if I recall correctly. Maybe it was another hotel?? Sorry
Pros: The bed was so soft and comfortable. The flat screen tv was huge with an excellent picture. The shower was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. Everything was sparkling clean.
Cons: Breakfast had a couple issues. Sausage was cold straight out of warmer. The pancake maker was broken. The redeeming feature was the Cinnabon rolls.
Pros: The staff was super friendly. They were very helpful.
Pros: The Location of the Hotel was great. The Hotel itself seemed nice enough , what I saw of it. Don't know anything about the breakfast, because I did not get to eat there.
Cons: I was very disappointed when I arrived I could smell paint in the hallway and when I got to the room the paint smell was sickening. Went to front desk ask to be moved and she tried to give me another room but it smelled of paint also. I asked what else they could do and the lady said she could give me back my money. I asked if they could help me get another room somewhere else and they just shrugged. Finally another staff member called the Quality Inn just below Holiday Inn and asked if they had queen suites and they said yes. They did not asked them to hold one, even though both hotels were owned by the same person, they just told us we could call and see if they had a room. The staff could have been more helpful, the lady at front desk was supposedly new and should not have been left alone to run the Hotel by herself all night.I wanted to pay part in cash and charge the rest but she did not know how to to that so I paid all in cash. Also the internet pictures showed the pool was really nice and mentioned hot tub. Well the pool was about as big as a postage stamp and there was no hot tub. The Holiday Inn Express in Harriman is a nice place and has really nice rooms from what I saw of it, but I was NOT impressed with it or it's staff. We left & went to Quality Inn had to pay more and get 2 adjoining rooms because they did not have a queen suite available. If Quality Inn had not had room we would have had to travel another 20 miles to find lodging. Had sick headache that night d/t all the paint fumes. Unfortunately this was my 1st experience using booking.com and there probably wont' be a 2nd. I was not impressed as all. I had a sick headache from smelling the paint , what little time we were there and I could not believe they expected us to stay in that room all night. I will be much more careful before booking any more Hotel rooms .
Pros: The breakfast was amazing. Dont stop the cinnamon rolls. My husband said that was the most comfortable bed he has ever slept in in a hotel!!
Cons: A hot tub would have been great for the pool area
Pros: Extremely nice and convenient for the price!
Cons: N/A I will return!
Pros: The bed was awesome. Whole experience was great!! Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. Definitely will be staying with Holiday Inn again
Pros: Biscuits and gravy were great

Pros: The room Was so clean
Pros: Great Staff Great Food Great Stay!!!
Pros: Louise in the dining area was awesome! Also the front desk staff was also great! I was there for a death in the family and they all were awesome and caring!
Pros: Very roomy accommodations. Clean and great staff!
Cons: Air conditioner started making a noise randomly during the night.
Pros: We did not have the breakfast, however when ever we walked down the area was full. There was a sweet lady behind the desk Sunday morning. She was so friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.
Pros: The breakfast was adequate and plentiful. It was very quiet and private in the inn and quite comfortable.
Pros: The staff very nice, and enjoyed the breakfast.
Pros: Great beds

Pros: It was clean .
Cons: Older furniture
Cons: I have a 5 day stay and the last 2 days housekeeping did not come by the room.
Pros: Convenient location. Room/building was older but very well kept.
Pros: It is convenient to the venue we attended
Cons: Everything was good
Pros: Great motel value. Very clean and comfortable.
Cons: There was some construction going on, but it wasn't really a bother.
Pros: They went out of the way to make it a special night for me and my gf i asked them to do something simple with the roses i gave them and they went above and beyond for me. Thank you and the house keeper
Pros: The price was good.
Cons: The breakfast was not much to brag about.
Pros: The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The shower is amazing. I will be staying there during all my visits to Wartburg.
Pros: when we first checked in the lady was so warm and friendly she told us a little about what was around us told us where a few good places to get local good cooked meals at a good price made us feel very welcome
Cons: can't think of anything
Pros: The upside is the convenient location, cleanliness and friendliness and courtesy of the staff not to mention a very good price. I will definitely stay there again if my travels bring me this way in the future.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking somewhat. I went to the Krystal as I was leaving and got a sausage biscuit for the road. My king size bed was a bit stiff but nothing serious. The biggest drawback was the couple next door being very loud but they finally piped down around 11 p.m. and I was able to go to sleep.
Pros: Bed comfortable
Cons: The pillows were like throw pillows not an actual sleeping pillows.. the cleanliness could have been better as well and the tv was old school. No fans in the bathroom is ridiculous as well cause as u are drying off you have water dripping off the ceiling getting you wet
Pros: Rooms very dingy and run down, must have been bed bugs in the bed sheets as I got numerous insect bites

Pros: The room was ample big enough and the kids liked the breakfast
Cons: There were bugs in the bathroom. I killed 5 centipedes just in the bathroom and several ants and when we were getting dressed and leavings there were some climbing the walls in the room. I will never be back at that location again.
Pros: Beds were comfortable
Cons: 125 motorcyclists and a loud tent party outside my door until 3 AM one night and 1 am the next night. Management should have warned me prior to arrival so I could make other arrangements.
Pros: The room was clean. The comfort of the bed was lacking. It was rather on the hard side. The lock in the bathroom was broken, & the water pressure was very weak.
Pros: Staff and Crew was Very Nice
Cons: It’s Seems Odd That the Handicap Units was Not On Vehicles Parking Area Size. But that’s the Way the Building was made and Not the Current Staff. It’s Seems like the People Who Design These Type of Buildings has never been or worked with people who needs a Little Help. (Like ! Automatic Door for Main Lobby) ( AED Units in Areas) Just Something To Think About. Anyway Be Safe, a Good Stay.
Pros: Clean and Helpful Staff
Cons: The Handicap Rooms were on the other side of the Parking area. Also the Tub in the room should be lower or Walk in Type.
Pros: The woman that check is in was very night.
Cons: This place claims to be pet friendly. It was extremely apparent the owners of this hotel were afraid of dogs. The room was $50.00 which brakes down to $25.00 each for my husband and I. This place charged additional $30.00 for each dog. Never in my life would I have thought we would be less expensive then dogs to stay somewhere, especially when it is nothing near a three star hotel and would barely be a two star. Rest assure they never have to worry about seeing us or our dogs again. But, the locals were very nice.
Pros: The staff was helpful and accommodating. The hotel access was easy as well as location in proximity to the interstate.
Cons: No. Everything was great!
Pros: Close to my destination
Cons: They checked someone else in to my room under name paid for a king room got two doubles after i had to argue that i had. It already checked in.
Pros: Breakfast was awful. Turned around and left
Pros: Comfortable, quiet, clean.
Cons: Massive amounts of exterior lighting seeping around the curtains, but I guess that also makes it safer.
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Several outlets and one light fixture did not work. They cleaning staff did not provide a new clean bag for the ice bucket. We were in a non smoking room, but could smell cig smoke in the room. The property was very dark on the back side of the hotel.
Pros: Staff was friendly and the room was adequate.
Cons: It was exactly what I needed. No complaints

Pros: The room was clean and the owner made sure we were happy and ok, couldn't ask for any better
Cons: wish there was a walmart closer
Pros: This is clearly the best motel in Wartburg, Tennessee, mainly because it is the only one. The "Walking Dead" vibe was entertaining for one sleepless night. There is a pharmacy right next store, so you can purchase some bleach. The people in the town are quite friendly.
Cons: The rooms would be ideal for a crystal meth binges or opioid overdoses. Also, the wonder of bed bugs tends to interrupt one from a restful sleep. And the cigarette burns on the duvet were a nice atmospheric touch. Oh, and there is no "river," and the view from my room was of an abandoned house, a sign for a pop-up church and the highway.
Cons: Bedbugs!!! Had to check out early. Couldn't sleep
Pros: Had WiFi, an iron, mini fridge and microwave. The extra was the Walgreens right across the street.
Cons: The bed is stiff but for the price, it is what anyone would expect.
Cons: The heating unit was so loud, we did not get much sleep.
Pros: The price
Cons: The staff. The man that work's the front desk assaulted me and the the in the next room. So all women beware of this hotel...
Cons: This hotel could be cute and quaint, instead it was pretty much horrible. Everything was bare bones - worn towels and sheets, stained bedspread, no shampoo in room, no daily cleaning service, dogs barking night and day outside window, a/c unit barely working, dark room due to very little lighting and not one picture on the walls. A big disappointment. I left a night early.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and available for viewing the eclipse when the rest of the state was booked up.
Cons: There could have been more amenities, but I won't complain since it was inexpensive.
Pros: The room was very clean. Not
Cons: Nothing only

Cons: It selled of smoke. And they sould be ashamed of the breakfast
Pros: Close to interstate
Cons: Filthy. Drains in sink didn’t work, floors sticky had not been vacuumed or cleaned. Walls in vanity and bathroom need to be cleaned too. Felt dirty. Breakfast was a waffle no juice as the machine did not work. Tables not clean.
Pros: The location and friendly staff.
Cons: The odor of the room. The condition of the hotel in general.
Pros: Convenient location. Just off interstate with plenty of food around.
Cons: Limited parking for trucks with trailers.
Pros: There was nothing we liked.
Cons: There was hair in bathtub and the A/C stopped working in the middle of the night. The bed felt like it was box springs. Our stay was awful.
Pros: Best place to stay in Roane County! Very nice people!
Cons: Room was dirty, bathroom was disgusting. Bed board and shelf in bathroom were both off the wall.
Pros: Price was good beds were ok
Cons: Concern with shower area peeling paint poor repairs. Phone in room did not work. Toilet would not flush they gave me a plunger!!! So I had to fix it myself
Pros: I enjoyed staying Breakfast is more than expected
Pros: The owners are absolutely wonderful people! Very helpful and they make sure the customer is happy and doesn't need anything. I absolutely love this motel!
Pros: We had problems from time we pulled in at days in. First I needed a room on ground floor so they was go to take my king suite to a double bed room since they couldn't keep the deal I reserved they still wouldn't let me cancel. Room stunk of high even had to air out for 3 hours, not enough towels, no shampoo or conditioner, not enough sugar for coffee, no blanket on bed and breakfast was nasty. Coffee tasted funny, creamer was sour, cereal was stale and orange juice was not mixed correctly t as stated like flavored water. Lady at desk was rude and hateful refused me t ok be able t ok speak to manager and called me a liar about the room. So very disappointed in this place
Pros: Worst hotel
