Really a perfect place to explore Washington DC, albeit pricey. We've stay here often and I think it has actually improved over the years.
When I could not reach a student that I was traveling with, the staff stepped in and helped me locate him and get him in the cab that was waiting.

The room was quiet, it faced a office building, so there was no activity during the weekend around the facing building....
